This double room in Rome was perfect for my trip. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to the Vatican and Ottaviano Metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city. The apartment is spotless and well-maintained, and the room itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The best part? I could see the Vatican dome from my window, which made the stay even more special. The host was truly outstanding—her hospitality was top-notch. She provided detailed explanations about the room, neighborhood, and transportation, ensuring a smooth stay. The instructions for entering the apartment were also very clear, making check-in hassle-free. Thank you so much for your kindness! Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers!

I have stayed at Residenza Scipione repeatedly because it is so comfortable, quiet and clean, and the staff is so nice especially Nestlé. It is conveniently located in Prati, not far from the Vatican but outside of the oppressive tourist area. The neighborhood is very, very nice, andkind of upscale and I love having breakfast at the Sciascia Café and having ice cream at the Officina Gelato (in via Tacito 66). These are my go to places when I am in Rome.

I liked how friendly Nestle was. It was clean and I got a great deal for the price. View of St Peters from room. Very clean. For solo traveler it was great. Very close to Vatican city and close to Metro station. Would stay again.

Bed was hard. Water runs after flushing toilet. And one elevator I didn't use.

What a lovely property. I stayed for two nights and it was worth every penny. I got a room upgrade as soon as I arrived with a direct view to the St. Peter’s dome. My beautiful room was on the top floor with widows on two walls. Super clean and very friendly stuff! Would recommend it to everyone

Despite being small room for one person, it had all services - large wardrobe space, table, safe, even fridge with complementary water each day. Bathroom was larger and more comfortable than usually for rooms of this size, with all extras - sope, shampoo, towels, slippers and serious shower unit with rain, hand and body nozzles. Location is great - on walking distance from all attractions, or if you prefer metro, the station is right around corner. WiFi connection was better than average in Italy. Location is well protected with modern safety locks, and very friendly and hekpful receptionist from 9-17. Highly recommended.

The location of the property is great. It is close to the Vatican and a safe neighborhood. Unlike a lot of old buildings in Europe, there is a cute and quaint lift which was helpful because the property is on the 5th floor. The staff, Nestle who manages front desk and the property is absolutely delightful! She was warm, welcoming, professional and always willing to help with a smile. The room size was good, given it was a single bed. The size of the room was size of a second bedroom in most Toronto condos. The hot water in bathroom was great! Great to come back to and shower. The air conditioning was an added bonus in the sweltering heat.

I wouldn’t describe the room “luxurious” by any measure. It was clean, spacious and functional. The luxury feeling was lacking. The bed and linen is basic, floor was bare and hardwood. The room gave the feel of a B&B at best. The mattress was not very soft and the linen was thin, making the direct air conditioner air on me uncomfortable and cold. Other than that, it is a good property. Just adjust expectations to know it is NOT a hotel; think of it like an Airbnb experience

Nestle at the front office was very welcoming and service oriented, she also helped me with city tours and transport facilities. I was not expecting this hotel would be so beautiful, I wish I had more time staying a this hotel.

I couldn't stay for more days 😕

This was a cozy bnb that felt very homey and welcoming! This bnb was in an optimal spot where my room had a view of St Peter’s Basilica. The hostess was very easy to communicate with a very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when coming back to Rome.

There could have been fluffier pillows for the bed

Very clean👌🏼 Very good location close to Vatican and metro, where you can take trains wherever you want to go. The receptionist is the best😍 very helpful, attentive, welcoming and most of all very friendly❤️

Room was clean, location was great, toiletries were provided, great view from the room, and most importantly the host Nestle went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed.

We loved everything about our stay here.
