Loved the location - a lot more 'local' eateries rather than touristy restaurants. Loved the old coffee shop where you can have your breakfast coffee and croissant - everywhere we went around here to eat or drink was always so lovely, friendly and welcoming. They also provided recommendations and provided a map showing best routes to walk to see things and what sreets are best for what (shopping, eating, drinking, site seeing etc). The recommendations did not miss!

We actually found the property very easily (kind of stumbled into it by mistake) - There was a friendly guy on the front desk/ door to the building who we asked and he said it's here on the second floor. I wasn't aware it was inside another apartment building as such - so I think some people would struggle to find it! I just think a pre-arrival message should go out and state that the building is (....) and that you enter the building - turn right and then go up to floor number (...) - just to make it super simple. This is not me criticizing though! Just trying to be helpful. If you were to struggle they message you on Whatsapp before arrival anyway so you could just message them there. Always very helpful and very quick replies!

Fantastic location - we walked to all the main sights, but on one night of our trip, we went to a football match and there was an app ‘free now’ which was so easy to use for taxis if needed too. Great facilities - spacious room, great air con, fresh water in the fridge for us each day, access to coffee pods / tea bags 24 hours of each day & new towels provided daily. The room was cleaned well and nothing was too much to ask. Upon arrival, we were given a map and shown all of the main sights / areas of interest and were given directions of how best to find these. We were also then sent a WhatsApp with recommendations on for restaurants and bars - these were BY FAR the best we visited during our trip. Had we not have had these, we’d have been tricked into the more touristy places (which weren’t as good for food quality etc). I genuinely do think this made our trip, we were so grateful! The cafe in which the apartments offers breakfast in/through is also amazing. Lovely staff & gorgeous, fresh, homemade pastries with gorgeous coffee. This is literally around the corner and started our day off well! Would definitely stay again and will be recommending this to any friends and family that are visiting Rome!

Genuinely no complaints! On one of our days, we had a problem with the curtain pole. I messaged the reception via WhatsApp and this was solved almost immediately. Nothing was too much to ask!

Very friendly personnel. They tried very hard to help and satisfy all our requests. They responded promptly to all our questions. They allowed us to check in earlier as our rooms were availalble and kept our luggage after check out unitil we left. They kindly arranged out tranportations whenever was asked. They offered complimentary breakfast at our arrival. Comfortable rooms. Very central location with easy access to shops, restaurants, the vatical city and the city centre.

The breakfast was served in a coffee shop very close to the hotel. However it was poor in quantity and quality.

We stayed at Cesare ai Cavalieri Suites during our visit to Rome and had a pleasant overall experience. The accommodation is more of a B&B-style apartment setup rather than a full-fledged hotel, which worked well for us as a family of four. The room was medium-sized, enough for all of us to sleep comfortably, though the bath area and toilet felt a bit cramped for a family. As it’s a B&B, there is no in-house breakfast facility; instead, we were provided with vouchers for a nearby café. The breakfast included a small juice, coffee or cappuccino, and a croissant per person — a light start to the day, but quite standard for Italy. The location is one of its biggest pluses, with a variety of restaurants nearby and plenty of shopping options within walking distance. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The building itself is old, with that nostalgic 90s charm — the manual doors on the lift gave our kids a funny, memorable experience! However, the elevator is quite small and can get a bit congested, which is understandable given the age of the property. Overall, Cesare ai Cavalieri Suites offers a cozy, authentic Roman experience in a great location, especially if you’re looking for a place with character and charm.

The property was impeccably clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Its central location made it easy to explore, with most major attractions just a short walk away. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful owner (apologies for forgetting the name) who went above and beyond in providing outstanding customer service. He not only gave us a map and guided us to key spots but also recommended fantastic restaurants for dining and drinks. Always available on WhatsApp, he was ready to assist whenever needed. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning to this incredible place!

Fantastic location and very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff was superb, very helpful and friendly.

The room was large, airy and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and had extra pillows. There was a sitting area with a sofa and coffee table which was handy to unpack. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (when there) also.

The safe didn't work for us and we were unable to use this - by the time we checked in and noticed, the check-in hours had finished and the staff had left so there was no one to ask. The bathroom was clean enough, but could do with a bit more attention in the shower. The shower head also wouldn't stay up when in use. The 'breakfast' was a Nespresso coffee machine, which was still ok but being called 'breakfast' felt like an over statement. We also were unsure how to use the very old lift in the building and had to carry luggage up the stairs - perhaps a note on how to operate this would be beneficial to guests in future.

Great location near the metro, restaurants, supermarket, main attractions, and especially close to Vatican City. Finding the entrance can be tricky—you need to use a buzzer by a large door. The room has a coffee machine, but no kettle; tea-making facilities are available in the reception. No on-site dining, but plenty of nearby restaurants. The gentleman on the reception is very friendly and helpful, though reception isn’t 24/7, support is available via WhatsApp.

The location of the hotel was great as we were able to walk to all major sites with the exception of the airport. It was in a nice neighborhood that felt safe. The breakfast at the cafe up the street was deiscious and the staff was helpful.

The wifi was horrible. We could log in and then could not access anything. We weren't bogging it down with devices either it was just us at night trying to pull our activity reservations for the next day but were never able to which was quite hard when all things now rely on technology.

Very close to everything and enjoyed the breakfast at Sciascia Caffe!

"During my stay at, I experienced noise issues. The room door seemed quite thin, as I could hear my neighbors audibly across the hall from my room. This affected my ability to fully relax. While your place had its charms, I would recommend improved soundproofing or policies to ensure a quieter atmosphere for guests seeking rest."
