Highly recommend. Lorenza is an incredible host, she is very open to explain the surroundings and things to do in Rome. We also had an extra request regarding the morning croissants which she fulfilled without hesitation at no extra cost. In addition, on the check-out date, we had a late flight and she let us keep the room (at her own initiative, as we only requested to store the luggage) until we went out to the airport. She is very helpful and considerate, and she will answer all your questions regarding either your stay or in relation to Rome. The location is incredible, placed in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. On our 5-days trip in Rome, we only used the metro two or three times (trips to the airport, and one trip to colosseum, but only because it was raining). Walking distance is - 5 minutes to the Vatican, 15 minutes to Piazza del Popolo, and maximum 30-40 minutes to the other central objectives (Piazza de Spagna, Pantheon, Trevi), depending on the route and how fast you walk :-). For us, location was excellent. The room was nice, big enough, and it was cleaned every day. Wi-fi works without problems. Amenities are good - clean towels, quality products for personal hygiene, hair dryer, two pairs of flip flops. The room also includes tea and coffee (and adequate appliances), marmalade, Nutella, toast, and a minibar with water, orange/peach juice, yogurt, fruits. butter. The highlight of the room was the bed, which was very large and conformable.

We choose this place because it has a very high rate in booking, safe area, close to the Vatican, and nice price. The owner Lorenza is very helpful and caring , she provided us with information how to arrive there. Her sister Carlotta is also very friendly and helpful, she kept checking on us to make sure everything is okay. She answer all our questions and provided us with good information. I thank her for her time,kindness and support. Also, the cleaner is very friendly. The place is quiet , It has a coffee machine, some fruits and snacks for free. It was fantastic b&b. We wanted to extend our staying but it was fully booked.

Nice cosy room with comfy large bed. Location wise perfect for us, most of main landmarks in walking distance. Plenty to choose for dining in local area. Friendly staff. Delicious Cornetto for breakfast on big plus.

Bathroom is tiny and shower screen need some maintenance however all in working order. Toilet seat with soft closing would be a nice addition (because if you have one like this at home is easy to forget and ...... noise in the middle of the night is guaranteed) One more... Not very important however TV in our room was unable to connect with WiFi so streaming platforms were unavailable (we forgot to mention this as we spend little time in the room so didn't bother us)

Charming Roma is a delight. It’s nice and bright, clean and welcoming. Lorenza was very helpful and we had good communication before and during our stay. Lorenza’s sister (whose name I forget sorry) welcomed us. She was incredibly friendly and so helpful, having written out a page of recommended places to eat and to visit. On our last day she helped us with buying bus tickets to the airport and showing us where it was and how it worked. She went above and beyond to help us. The Guest house is well placed for the Vatican, just a short walk away. The Colosseum, Trevi fountain and other attractions were a longer walk but easy enough to get to. A taxi back from there cost €9, which we chose to use at night. A really lovely stay and would definitely recommend. I would certainly come back to stay again.

A perfectly located bed and breakfast in the heart of Rome. A short walk from the Vatican, and a metro station. The many restaurants nearby (as well as recommendations from the staff) spoil you for choice. The room was clean and comfortable in a secure building. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend Charming Roma as a place to stay whilst exploring an incredible city.

The staff was great, always there to help. The room was a little bit small, but very clean, they clean everday, we had hairdryer, seif and minibar with wather, apples,etc, all for free. The location is great. We had an terrace in the back, open for everybody

The accommodation was in an absolutely great location. Within a 5min walk of the metro and a short walk from the Vatican. Within walking distance around 30-40min of the historic centre. The owner was nice and very pleasant. She was helpful and welcoming. I believe that if we had a better room, the overall impression would have been min to a rating of 9.

What made us a little uncomfortable was the location of room 1, right on the reception level and also that the room was really small. Sufficient for an overnight stay, but if you wanted to have a little space in it you couldn't. The suitcase had to be right next to the bed. It was a bit noticeable that the bathroom was added to the room, so the humidity from the bathroom was kept in the room.

Everything was perfectly in place. Room was wonderful! Great Location! Many places to eat! Super Safe! Last but NOT least the best to all Lorenza! She was so helpful in everything! Thank you Lorenza!

Everything was perfect. The host was very nice, she helped us with the city map and the taxi booking from the airport. The location is awesome, a 10 minute walk to the Vatican City. It also has a great connection with the city center on the other side of the river. There is a small nice breakfast delivered from the local bakery every morning. The croissants were full of chocolate and quite tasty. The hosts were willing to give us a late check out since our flight was in the evening. Also, we arrived early in the morning and the room was already clean and ready for us before the check in time. Not sure if you can expect this during the busy summer season, but the other hotels don’t even bother with helping you this way. The room was very clean and comfy. In general, you’ll have a quiet stay at a private place with great people. I highly recommend this place!

The front door is a bit difficult to open :( Other than that, everything is perfect! :)
