We booked the split level apartment as we wanted a separate bed for our little one. We loved the space, and the location first and foremost. Being in a central location we enjoyed walking everywhere within 15-20 minutes. We bought some lovely leather goods from the leather shop below us, and ate at a nearby restaurant Mimi & Coco that was just fab. After dinner, we enjoyed looking at the ruins just down the street. You really feel blessed to be living in the old town with all its history. Even the sofa bed was comfortable as it unpacked a proper foam mattress. The AC worked well, water pressure great. Beds were very comfy. Bed design was with a fluffy headrest. Plenty of ammenities eg. Microwave, large fridge, washing machine, ice packs, ironing board, iron, clothes hanger, even shampoo was provided. It was surprisingly quiet and serene in this apartment. Service was super helpful. I was sent a Whatsapp Video detailing exactly how to self late check-in. No charge for late check.-in which I really appreciate ! Would definitely recommend this for a family with 1-2 kids or travelling group of 4 persons.

Be prepared to climb some stairs, but it isn't much, as the split level apartment is just on the 2nd floor. You just have to lug your luggage twice and it is done. We were told it was an extraordinary case that we had some plumbing issues during our visit end of July 2025. Strong sewage smells emanated from the shower cabin, polluting the air on both levels if you forgot to close the bathroom door. The team, Amaité Hotels, was nearby and quick to help out and tried to mitigate the situation. If this plumbing issue is fixed I have absolutely no complaints.

The property was very spacious. The bed and settee were comfortable. There was ample wardrobe and cupboard space. It was a great location for walking everywhere. A taxi rank was just a few minutes walk away. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes on the doorstep but quiet for sleeping .

We did find the kitchen equipment lacking e.g. we couldn’t find a bread knife, there wasn’t a plug for the kitchen sink or a bowl, no kitchen hand towel or tea towel. We did mention this but didn’t receive a response. There wasn’t a toaster listed in the equipment which we didn’t realise. There are quite a few steps which we managed fine being fairly fit people.

The suite feels like a great hotel. The room is VERY spacious and clean. Windows are noisy proof which we found very comfortable to rest. The location is just perfect. It's on a pedestrian road but a few meters from a street you can grab and drop from a taxi if needed. You can explore everything in Rome within walking distance.

The shower heater box is right at the shower entrance so myself and my partner bumped our heads a couple of times when using the bedroom. The suite is on the second floor with no elevator, so keep this in mind.

We loved staying at Black and White Suites in Rome. It is in the heart of the Jewish Quarter with fantastic restaurants just outside. The apartment is large, clean, and has air-conditioning. The bathroom was great too. The owners were very nice and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is in an excellent location. We used it as a base to walk everywhere. Very close to il Campo di Fiori, Largo Argentina, Trastevere, Portico d'Ottavia. Walking distance to il Pantheon and Roman Forum. When we are next in Rome, we will definitely stay here again.

A clean, good quality, tastefully decorated, fully furnished self-catering apartment. Excellent location in the centre of Rome, next to Kosher restaurants. Communication with the staff was excellent. They contacted us via WhatsApp weeks before our arrival, making it easy for us to arrange to leave our luggage early at their office a few doors away. The very helpful receptionist also messaged us when our apartment was ready early. She walked with us to the apartment and even helped carry our heavy suitcase up three flights of stairs.

The beds were comfortable but I was surprised the bedroom had a double bed when twin beds would be preferable for many of the area’s visitors.

The location is great! However, it’s at the pedestrian only area. So you can’t take taxi directly to the location. You have to walk a bit with your luggages to reach to the location. The reception for the property is located at another nearby building. The receptionists were very responsive and respectful.

Very long stairs to climb to 3rd and 4th floor! No elevator! We were a family of five with luggages. The property is on the 3rd and 4th floor. We had to carry our luggages through long stairs which was pain! Also, they didn’t allow early check-in.

The apartment is in a great location, almost everything is within walking distance, and if you need to go further, we recommend using public transportation, which is very convenient. The apartment owner provided detailed information on how to reach the apartment, and there were no issues with late check-in. The room is very cozy and clean.

We liked everything.

Excellent location, you can walk to almost every attraction. Also there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars around and its easily accessible via tram from Trastevere railway station. The staff was excellent, highly responsive and truly helpful!

Nothing was missed - just fine.

It is very beautifully done, fits 4 people comfortably. The location is perfect, you can walk to the sights and there are restaurants right next to the building. The street seems a bit loud (restaurants next door), but with closed windows you can't hear them. AC is great for hot Rome weather. The host is very helpful.

If I had to find something, than the beds were a bit too soft, but we still slept good and it was nothing serious.

The location is perfect. We visited all the important touristic sites by foot. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bedroom was clean, modern and had everything we needed.
