Hotel located in a quieter part of Rome but very close to Via Veneto, Barberini. Ideal location to explore the city while escaping the huge crowds. Nice neighbourhood as well, with lots of great restaurants and shops nearby Lots of things are included in the price such as welcome drink, minibar drinks, etc. Best of all, staff is super helpful and friendly. Such a contrast with many other places in Rome, where service people are not always friendly towards tourists. Whenever I go to Rome I prefer to stay in less crowded areas a bit further from the centre, I find it to be more authentic. This hotel was the best I've been so far

Staff was excellent in every department, very friendly, professional and accommodating. Room and halls, lift, reception etc. were very clean. Location was very nice, plenty of good cafe's and restaurants in area. While the room was a little tight, it was very comfortable, we both slept well except for the very loud street noise, people screaming in the early morning hours.
Since the AC season wasn't at the time we stayed we opened the windows at night for cool air and unfortunately there were people speaking loudly on the streets at night, sometimes screaming, and they woke us up every night. There were drunk people across the street from our room, we watched them through our window even in the morning daylight. Its not a good look. Secondly, the shower design makes no sense as the water ran out of the shower area and flooded the bathroom tile floor making it dangerous for footing. That needs to be fixed. An iron for pressing clothes would be a good addition to the room.

The Fiume Hotel has a charming, old-world character with spacious rooms that feel refreshingly different from modern chain hotels. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for relaxing after long days exploring the city. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of options to choose from. The staff truly made our stay special - the service was outstanding and room service was impressively quick. Special thanks to Simone who went above and beyond to help us change rooms, and to Alex for his wonderful service and attention to detail throughout our stay. The location is fantastic (although not very close to the main tourist attractions) with numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance. While parking costs €25, it's only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, which is quite convenient for Rome. A nice bonus was the complimentary minibar in the room. Room tip: Definitely request one of the three terrace rooms on the 5th floor if available - they offer both shared and private outdoor spaces that are worth it for the relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast buffet could benefit from more fresh vegetable options. Also worth noting that not all rooms have handheld shower attachments, so you may want to specify this preference when booking if it's important to you.

The accommodations and location were excellent and the service was exceptional. We stayed on the top floor that opened onto a rooftop patio to enjoy each day. We could enjoy the early morning peaceful call of the birds each day. Breakfast each morning had plenty of options and was fantastic. The location was quiet and in a lovely area of Rome. Plenty of wonderful Trattorias and cafes close by, along with an exceptional bakery just across the street. Also close to a mercato and farmacia - which was particularly helpful to obtain some medicine during our stay. And a wonderful, highly rated gelateria was a short walk - with a variety of options senza lattosio. Easy to get to key sights and attractions from the hotel, and wonderful to return to again in the evening. The bed was very comfortable - we slept well. Wifi worked well. We even extended our stay an extra night. Truly, this place is a gem! We would stay here again and again, and recommend highly without hesitation.
Nothing. When we arrived, the shower pan wouldn't drain. We informed the front desk and they addressed it immediately. Fantastic!

friendly staff who is always trying to help patiently on all kinds of issues. breakfast buffet is good with many assorted food from pastries to bacon ham etc to fruits. there are several restaurants right outside the hotel, some options to dine out. bed is also comfortable. location is in the city, so rather easy to hail taxi, and in 30min or so by walk we can arrive different parks. the gym albeit small, equipments are all quite new and pretty good. we enjoyed our stay!
it was unfortunate that water stopped during my shower one night, and it turned out to be an issue for the whole building, it was fully fixed the next day though some technicians were trying to work on it during the night. but the staff felt very sorry for the incident, so offered us free breakfast for the stay. separately the bathroom shower floor design indeed might have a bit of issue, the drain might not work too well so that water easily overflows and bathroom floor is easily flooded.

We stayed for three nights at this particular hotel. The service was very good and everyone was extremely polite. The room was spacious—just right for our taste. The bed linens were clean, and every morning the cleaning staff would come for tidying up, cleaning, etc. The distances to other places, both tourist attractions and non-tourist areas, were quite short. We walked everywhere. We didn’t have any special expectations from the place, and what was offered was perfectly fine. We didn’t eat at the hotel; our reservation didn’t include breakfast, and we chose to eat out instead. The room was warm, the bathroom was clean and spacious, there was always hot water, and we didn’t hear any noise from the neighboring rooms—only in the morning when the cleaning staff started work, but that’s to be expected.
The price could have been a little lower, but due to the Jubilee Year, prices were generally a bit higher.

I would say that all the staff were not only friendly and professional, but, they all went out of their way to make my stay a very enjoyable experience. From the check-in, to the custom meal for breakfast and even when i got down late (the next day, by more than 30 minutes) they went out of their way to provide us two huge plates of food for me and my partner.
I can't say that there was anything I didn't like about the stay - but, if i had to pay the $35/night for parking, i would have been disappointed, luckily, i was able to park close by for free (provided we left by 7:00 am).

The hotel is highly recommended. At check-in, we were greeted by the friendly receptionist Alessandro. He gave us a room upgrade, we are very grateful for that. The room was perfect, huge. We were greeted in the room with an adorable welcome message. There was also coffee and tea in the room. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel is perfect. The staff is always smiling and friendly. They are ready to help at any moment. The breakfast is excellent. We enjoyed croissants and cappuccino. The location is excellent. You can walk to all the main attractions, but if you don't like to walk, there are bus stops near the hotel itself. We also had a welcome drink, which we were delighted with We will definitely come again. Thanks for everything guys.

Before we even arrived, Simone went above and beyond to assist us during a complicated situation, offering support when we needed it most. His kindness and professionalism made a stressful moment much easier, and we truly appreciated his help. When we arrived, Carlos welcomed us with a warm smile and made sure our early check-in and luggage storage were handled smoothly. His attentiveness and friendly attitude made us feel truly taken care of. Throughout our stay, both Simone and Carlos continued to go above and beyond, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience unforgettable! The hotel itself is spotless, with comfortable rooms and a fantastic location. But what really sets it apart is the incredible team. Huge thanks to Simone, Carlos, and the entire staff for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing experience at Fiume hotel in Rome. We stayed two nights at this hotel and will stay again in this hotel during our next visit to Rome. Room was extremely clean, no odors, bed was comfortable, shower was clean and had instantenous hot water. Carlos did an amazing job accomodating us, if you experience any issues at all he will go above and beyond to solve those issues. Location was 20 minutes walking distance or less than 10 minutes by bus from termini station. Cost to value was excellent. There are two vegan restaurants in the area, one is located in the same building as the hotel.
