The staff was super nice and helpful. Upon arrival, we were given a map of Rome and shown the places we should visit and the best way to get there. The room was very nice and clean, it was clear it had been recently renovated. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is very cute and charming with tons of little shops and fantastic places to eat. Overall, very good place at great value. Would recommend!

The bed was a bit firm, which of course is personal preference. The hotel itself is a bit far from the city center, but getting there by public transportation or even walking was not too much of an inconvenience.

The room was lovely clean and spacious. The main areas of the hotel coukd do with a refurbishment but staff were very friendly and helpful especially with finding our way to buses and given a map which helped us as we walked a lot of it. Only 25 min walk to most of sights of Rome. Even recommended restaurants nearby. Lovely stay all in all

The mini fridge didn’t have much capacity only able to fit a couple of small bottles of water etc. kettle provided with tea but no coffee or milk so had to buy our own. No hot water in the late Evenings so if you want a shower do it in the mornings

We had a great stay at Hotel Porta Pia. It was clean, comfortable and modern. The staff were very helpful, particularly Antonio who gave us some good restaurant tips (would recommend Disco Volante near the hotel and Lo Zozzone in the centre). We also found a nice wine bar near the hotel called Spaccio Grosso. Although the hotel was slightly out of the main centre, it was really easy to get around by bus, taxi or a bit of a walk. The area near the hotel is lovely - lots of great restaurants, a local vibe and close to Villa Borghese. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

All was good, apart from the temperature of the shower was a bit intermittent.

We were pleasantly surprised by the conditions of the hotel. From the moment we arrived until we left the reception staff was very polite and also very helpful providing informations every time it was needed. The location was also good, needing a max of 20 minutes to get to the main touristic attractions . The area is safe, with plenty of restaurants to choose from and fast access to public transportation. Also every morning the staff cleaned the room and changed the towels, room itself being very clean and modern ( about that, there is to mention the fact that we have received a room upgrade upon arrival -without asking- so the room was spacious and newly furnished) At the check out we were allowed to leave our luggage at them ( without paying extra) until late in the evening when we had our plane. After coming straight from Paris where we did not have the same wonderful experience, this hotel exceeded our expectations.

We were upgraded to one of the newer rooms which was absolutely lovely! It was slightly tricky to find but once we found it and were inside we were pleasantly surprised. The man on reception, Antonio I think his name was, was just wonderful! He spent time talking us through the location on the map & explaining all the sights to see and how best to get there. He also recommended a local restaurant and to try supplí which again was perfect! Exceptional value & a truly lovely stay in a perfect location to explore the city! Thank you!

Great convenient location for getting to all parts of Rome. Affordable restaurants and cafes in this area. Close to public transport.

Everything was really nice.

It was clean and the staff were very nice. We got our check out days confused and missed our flight and they kindly offered to extend our stay. The location was decent. The closest bus stop was about 3 mins away from the hotel so we got to go around the city very easily. They also gave us a cute map to show where to see in Rome too!

We found the shower to be a bit inconvenient as it only had a thin curtain. Every time we got out of the shower, the whole bathroom floor got soaking wet and we had to clean it everytime.

The hotel was in a calm area, which is amazing when you want to rest after walking in the busy streets of Rome. Very close to the essential transports: 4 minutes in walking distance from the 62 and 64 bus routes, the ones that go to all the places you want to see in Rome and 490, the one that gets you to the Vatican, and 10 minute walk to the blue metro line, which will take you quickly to termini or the Colosseo. It was very close to many cafes with awesome and affordable breakfast options, so not having breakfast available at the property wasn’t a problem at all. Super comfortable bed and a lot of storage for our clothes and the bathroom was incredible. 2 minute walking distance from a supermarket across the street where we would buy food to eat throughout the day.

Attentive and available staff. Great location- 20 minutes walk from the city center and 15 minutes from Villa Borghese garden with bus stop nearby. Minifridge in the room was very usefull.

The room was comfortable enough but was smaller than we expected by looking to the pictures. The old electrical outlets worked but its something that could be improved. The shower door wont close completly, so we had to be a little bit carefull.

The staff was super friendly. We got to the hotel after reception hours and we still were able to check-in easily. The receptionist gave us some small tips on how to move through the city and what to visit. The bedroom was perfect for two people. Very clean and tidy. Public transportation nearby with access to all of the city.

The bathroom was a bit small for the quantity of facilities that it had but after we got used to that, it was fine.
