I have stayed in a few CitizenM hotels and they are always good value for a contemporary, comfortable stay. The rooms at Citizen M Rome are slightly larger than other Citizen M hotels with excellent beds and in-room facilities. We booked as part of our honeymoon and the staff were so welcoming and left a congratulations card in our room on arrival. The self-serve rooftop bar is a great addition. Tip: if you want to be near the roof terrace, for outside space, request a room on 5th floor. Good location for exploring Rome especially for evening dinners and drinks in Trastevere across the bridge. Excellent stay and contemporary choice - Citizen M hotels never disappoint.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon trip and we stayed at various hotels/AirBnBs across Europe, and our experience at citizenM was exceptional. The hotel is very modern but extremely comfortable, which was a lovely contrast to the history all around us in the city. At checkin, the hostess was very gracious and funny. It was a seamless check-in on their tablet. Our room was facing the River Tiber and had the most comfortable hotel room bed I've ever slept in - none of your "sinking into a cloud and then ruining your back overnight" - it was plush, firm and large. The hotel was so kind as to put rose petals, a warm note and complimentary drinks for us at the rooftop bar as we were on our honeymoon. A personal touch like this from a hotel chain is unexpected and very appreciated. The room controls were super fun to play around with on the tablet provided in the room - the night mode especially was a godsend as we slept like babies with the gentle nightlight and complete blackout curtains. Also, do NOT sleep on the recommendations for Rome they provide on the tablet. Those restaurants are the same a local friend of mine recommended - they know their stuff and are guiding you away from the touristy eateries. Our favorite part was the breakfast - Rome is a great food city, but not particularly known for breakfast, so we opted in for breakfast included and we LOVED it. Huge spread, good coffee, delicious pastries, yogurt, cured meats, fruits, freshly baked bread, etc. You can also refill your water bottle at the water station and in 40 C / 115 F heat, it saved us. The location is fantastic - an under 20 min walk to: - Pantheon - Piazza Navona - Trastevere neighborhood - Isola Tiberina (4 min!) - Fontana di Trevi - CAT SANCTUARY!!! We would love to come back!

The location was perfect- on the River Tiber a new hotel only around a year old and within walking distance of all the main sites in Rome. It is also close to a tram and bus stop. It has been extremely well fitted out, the rooms are very well designed - technically compact but worked well for our needs. There is an ironing room thus removing the need to have an ironing board delivered to your room. There are free water refills in the GF restaurant. The 5th floor has an excellent rooftop self-serve bar whereby you swipe your room key and it dispenses beers, wines and ready mixed drinks such as Aperol Spritzes, and charges it directly to your room. A lovely space to chill out after a long day of sightseeing in Rome! The rooms are very well insulated and you cannot hear anything from traffic outside or others in the hotel. We would definitely recommend MCitizen if staying in Rome.

Nothing - everything was excellent.

The lounge facilities were extensive and very nice to pass time in, both indoor and outdoor spaces. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. The staff were extremely accommodating and beyond kind in every possible way. Best of all, the location. We live in Rome but needed a hotel to stay in for a few nights and as locals we know how incredible this location is- 5 mins across the bridge to trendy quaint trastevere, yet walkable also to ALL the main tourist sights of Rome. It’s also even accessible to non-touristy neighborhoods such as testaccio. We will recommend this hotel to every visitor we ever have in town!!

It was perfect.

Everything! I've been there with my parents and we have been warmly welcomed by the staff (everyone was really good but shout out to the 2 girls working on 25dec evening 😊). The location is quite good (walking distance to many monuments+good restaurants) and easy to access (tram+bus) though, it's not near the metro so be ready to use the bus! (Google map is actually pretty accurate there!) The rooms are big enough and feel cozy. And indeed, best pillows ever ! (They were no kidding 😎).

I cannot recommend this place enough, location is perfect,the decor is chique and beds are so comfy with giant showers. But the staff is what makes this hotel unforgettable- super nice, always smiling and ready to help. Our kids got sick and they gave us another room in the middle of the night and the best part is when you get breakfast the coffee is unlimited till 11:00am. Ipads in rooms, ultra lights in bathrooms- your kids would not want to leave. We will definitely be back!

The location is perfect and all the hotel is brand new

There was no pot for tea or coffee in the room. It was not expected but still it’s great to have it in a 4 stars hotel, also there is not enough space for clothes, no wardrobe or shelves (only one) as well as there is no place for place any bathroom creams or bottles.

New hotel. Very clean . Helpfull staff. Very good location near all the major sights . Stayed in a room facing the back ally that was very quiet. Many bus lines stop next to hotel. Some nice places to eat nearby .

Hotel was sparkling clean, modern and comfortable. The location was excellent. Young staff were very kind and helpful. It's right on the river, the edge of the Jewish Ghetto and just across the bridge from the charming Trastevere neighborhood with cute boutiques and restaurants. You can also easily access many of the main sites on foot. My kids loved that you could change the color of the lights in the bathroom. Everytime I was in there it turned into a disco party 😂 Beds were comfortable.

The check-in is self service which was a bit annoying. It takes the grocery store self checkout to another level. There is someone standing there to help and they are nice, but would probably just be smoother if they just managed it. The bed is comfortable, but it's tucked in a nook so if you have to get out in the night to use the bathroom you have to crawl to the end of the bed which makes it difficult to not disturb anyone sleeping with you. They didn't have connecting rooms or family rooms, so my husband and I had to get two rooms near each other and split up each with a kid. Slumber party 🥳

The hotel is brand-new, top-quality in a beautiful place.
