We had a lovely stay at Hotel La Place Roma, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful dealing with any questions or concerns. The location was perfect and the views from the hotel were well worth it. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best croissants in Rome! Overall, we loved our stay in Hotel La Place Roma, and we will be sure to come back again.

The photos were a little misleading regarding the size of the rooms and how some rooms did not have windows. Luckily we were able to move to a room that had windows facing the views.

Central location with 8-30 min walking distance to almost any of the site seeing locations. Indeed value for money. On top they really do care of you and try to provide utmost service possible. The hotel is located at just one floor of the building at the square just in front of the cathedral. They got a creative idea to arrange breakfasts in the restaurant downstairs. Could be good to arrange cocktails as well!))) there is a garage option quite expensive but with allowance to centre. Worth paying. We came after 9000 drive and did not use it but this is very premium for sure. There is a garden. And very nice personnel. Ferragamo bath things and aroma and flowers everywhere.

Some smell in the bathroom and the water is everywhere after washing and baths no matter how careful you try to do everything. Some engineering issue of bathroom facilities. Set the right mood.

The staff were brilliant. Loved the little balcony our room had overlooking the Piazza. Also the shower was very good and overall the room was very modern.The location was also excellent.

The space available in the room was very tight for 2 people and a 5 night stay. Storage for clothes was limited, and it was difficult to walk around the bed. No space for a table or chairs. Also the only available mirror was in the bathroom..

This hotel was the best out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip in Italy. The lobby is beautiful and smells so nice, our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and had the best shower. The restaurant below which the hotel provides complimentary breakfast to was amazing. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed from calling us a taxi, to lending us a phone charger because we forgot ours at home. Best location near everything and shops. Definitely would stay here again.

The bed was a little too firm for our liking but as were all the beds at all the hotels we stayed at during our trip in Italy.

The hotel location is ideal, 5 to 30 mins walking distance to every attraction on our must see list. We spent 9 nights, so the list was long! Although the hotel is near the Spagna metro station, we preferred to walk for the exercise. The hotel is a small boutique with only six rooms. Online photos are accurate. It is very private, quiet and secure. Staff are on duty 24/7 and go out of their way to ensure your comfort and overall Rome experience. Our room had very good space for clothes storage, a nice Porcelanosa bathroom with Ferragamo products, a comfortable bed and very good room lighting. The hotel is very clean - no carpets and floors are washed daily. Our stay included a delicious breakfast served between 7 am and 12 pm at the restaurant downstairs (Vitti), which has the same ownership as the hotel.

Some times we could hear the music from the restaurant below coming through our floor. The staff were good about asking the restaurant to turn down the music. We could not hear sounds from the piazza as the windows and outside wall were very well insulated. Being on Piazza San Lorenzo was a big plus as there is no car traffic.

Everything gorgeous clean boutique property with Ferragamo products super luxe in best part of Rome overlooking the square.

A bit hard to find at first and the area is traffic restricted so if you have a car they have to park it 2 blocks away in garage but they were super helpful getting it parked for us and even going back to retrieve something we had left in car. Paid breakfast is at cafe downstairs it’s not the hotel itself.

Fantastic location, comfortable, was really pleased with the room which was bigger than we expected for a city centre hotel

Not really a problem but bear in mind though that the entrance is quite easy to miss depending on which direction you are coming from as it looks like you are walking into a church!

Cosy, warm, little hotel, fully renovated. It has everything you need in the room, receptionists are helpful (except one who might be in training and not comfortable in English), restaurant downstairs offers great bfast choice for the hotel guests. View from the room is onto the square, no traffic, really comfy.

When I first arrived I couldn’t find it because the hotel is on the second floor and it was late at night, but there was someone waiting for me outside so he took us in and we made the check in. The lobby is very nice and the staff was more than helpful. This hotel is in a a piazza so the taxi can’t drop you off exactly at the door but it’s very close to the drop off area so that shouldn’t be a problem. It has an excellent location! Near the Spanish Steps and many places more at walking distance. The rooms were sooo comfortable, clean and modern, with air conditioner and everything mechanical (curtains, lights) I just loved my stay in Rome in this cute boutique hotel! The breakfast is downstairs at Café Vitti that was also amazing!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, bed was extremely comfortable, room was quiet and spotlessly clean and the location was so good for visiting lots of local sites on foot. The associated café served really good coffee and pastries.

Personally the next time I stay here I would go for a larger room than the standard double, the room was fine with enough space for storage and there was a very deep bath tub which was great for baths but a little awkward for showering.
