The property is newly renovated, with brand new sanitaryware and appliances. The room and bathroom were squeaky clean. The location is perfect to reach all major landmarks on foot and the staff helped us with unloading our luggage and having it ready in the room. Breakfast is good and the staff throughout the property are pleasant and helpful. There is a lift to bring luggage to the floor.

There is not much space to store personal items, the closet is really small. Considering that the bathroom is quite spacious, a small shelf or cabinet would really make the difference. It's ok for 1 or 2 nights but if you like to unpack properly and you are carrying more than one small suitcase the space is extremely tight. There is also no kettle in the room even if tea bags are provided. We tried to use the coffee machine to get hot water but it obviously comes out full of coffee sediments and had to ask the bar for a cup of hot water.

I’d recommend the junior suite as it’s more spacious. The staff were amazing, especially Julia and Khalid in the reception, they’ve been a great help and very accommodating! The staff in the lounge and breakfast area were very helpful. We especially loved the mocha in the morning and the cheese selection.

The elevator, we preferred the stairs to using it. Though we used it for the luggage transfer to/from the 2nd floor.

Shower pressure but it’s just a minor issue, the hotel has only one iron board and it was broken.

I had a fantastic stay at Borghese Contemporary Resort — it truly made our time in Rome unforgettable. The hotel is absolutely beautiful: a perfect blend of contemporary design and the charm of a historic villa. The modern art throughout the property adds a unique and stylish touch. The location is unbeatable. We didn’t need public transport at all, as we could walk to all of Rome’s main attractions easily. Breakfasts were a real highlight — beautifully presented and incredibly delicious, definitely among the best I’ve had in Italy. The staff were amazing: warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and when they found out, they surprised us with a bottle of wine — such a thoughtful gesture! Our room was stylish, comfortable, and perfectly designed. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely return!

Every one of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone working at reception, at the breakfast bar and the cleaners, all super friendly and nice. Location was excellent. Most attractions were walkable. Was mostly quiet at night which we liked. Rooms cleaned daily, with fresh towels and robes every day. Really enjoyed our experience with the hotel

Only a minor inconvenience with the room. The tv turned itself on once each night during the night, which would wake me up from the brightness. And the light in the small room with the wardrobe also turned on frequently during the night. I think the sensor might be either faulty or hyper sensitive. Either way, only very minor issues. Overall I’m very happy we chose to stay here

Beautiful, new hotel. Very good beds, clean rooms with modern look. Nothing broken or looking worn out. Clearly a lot of effort and money has been invested into this hotel. Good location, intimate atmosphere as the hotel lies a bit ‘off’ from the main road and has a limited number of rooms. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Overall a very good hotel to stay at when exploring Rome. Close to the city center but not ‘too close’ to be bothered by the many vistors to Rome.

Only one minor thing: The reception area could benefit from better soundproofing or an additional door between reception and the rooms. If you are in a room close to reception like we were, conversations at reception can be heard in the room which can be disturbing during the night.

The hotel room felt brand new, the carpet in our room was for sure brand new and super clean! The shower, bed and kitchenette was so nice and we each had our own closets. Everything was actually super clean, not your typical Rome hotel that's a little rundown. The location is great, close to all main attractions in Rome. The breakfast was big and had many options. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel also has someone at the front desk 24H. After a certain time at night, you need to be buzzed into the courtyard to get the elevator.

The hotel is on the upper floors of the building so you need to take an elevator from the courtyard upstairs. Once you get to the hotel floor, all the rooms are upstairs but are only accessible by a staircase that's internal to the hotel lobby, there's no elevator. If you have a stroller or don't like to take stairs, this hotel is not accessible for you. The hotel had a porter who brought our bags up and down all the stairs and down to the ground level lobby. The elevator is small and only takes 2-3 people so they must use another elevator to transport luggages.

Everything was perfect. Hotel is new and nice, location is great (3 mins to Via del Corso, 5 mins to Piazza do Spagna, 3 mins to Piazza Navona & Pantheon). Breakfast is pretty good as well.

It’s not to easy to find it from the street - no any signs.

Borghese Contemporary is a small boutique hotel located within a 5 minute walk of the Spanish steps and the best shopping in Rome. Despite its location close to top tourist attractions, it is in a neighborhood and located within a walled structure with a giant old gate. The hotel has been renovated in a contemporary style with great taste. The bar is well-stocked and the bartender Luciano is sophisticated and knowledgeable and goes out of his way. In fact, all of the staff are people-oriented. Kudos to the General Manager Romeo, Elisa in the breakfast room, Francisco, and Silvano, Khalid, and Luca at reception. I highly recommend this sophisticated and tasteful hotel. The breakfast is great too!
