This was our first time staying at the Relais San Lorenzo and our room was utterly fantastic. Bed was amazingly comfortable with extra pillows and covers available in a cupboard in the room. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with lots of soap, slippers, shampoos etc. We particularly loved the roll top bath in the room which was a real treat. 😜 We visit Rome at least twice a year as it is our favourite European city and we were certainly not disappointed with the Relais San Lorenzo! The prices for the mini bar were surprisingly cheap compared to other hotels we have previously stayed at. The service was also amazing with so many friendly staff. We would not hesitate to book another stay at this fab hotel. Ideally located with easy access to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain 😜 Cant wait for our next visit!!!

Very convenient location, everything is walkable I would say. The room was clean and housekeeping was offered every day during our stay. Lots of food options around here. The bed was very very comfy I swear it’s not because we were exhausted at the end of the day. The communication with the staff was very good too (even around midnight!)

It’s not their fault, but especially on weekends, the neighborhood can get loud late at night. We were so tired from all the walking anyway, so we had no problem power sleep through it, but it can be hard for some people

The room was lovely , very comfortable and had a kettle which we liked to make a coffee in the morning before we headed out . Location is just perfect and in walking distance of everything you would want to see and visit . Lastly Michele was fantastic, he couldn’t do enough to make our trip a success and contacted us through WhatsApp to let us know how to access the building the night we arrived which was really easy , he also sent us details on places to eat and when we suggested going to look under the Trevi Fountain he sent us details of how to book this as well . Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property

Great location. We were allowed early check in, straight forward instructions. There is a small lift if you've got luggage but we only had a carry on. The host was very nice and a great communicator. The room is big and the bed is comfy. Right downstairs, there is a gelato place that is one of the best we had in Rome. They store them in the carapine steel containers instead of the trays, that's when you know they're good.

You might be impacted if you're a light sleeper. There are restaurants right downstairs and on our last morning, there was a recycling truck picking up glass bottles and we heard them empty into the truck.

Great location in walking distance to great restaurants for any meal! Very secure with keypads! We loved the room decor and bathroom tile & layout! You have some stairs to get to the landing with the landing where there is a lift/elevator. The main contact, Michele, is AMAZING! So helpful and honest! He called and ran after us immediately when we left our passports and other important items in the safe that we had unlocked since we were leaving in a hurry to catch a taxi to the train. What a lifesaver and blessing! He also messaged us prior to arriving to ensure our arrival after a very late flight arrival. We arrived at 22:00 and had secured entry instructions from him as well as great logistics and dinning advice.

We loved all of it! If you can’t safely walk up a small amount of steps with luggage, then that is a consideration. Also, the room had 2 steps upon entry.

Great location, nice decorated and spacious room and wonderful customer care. Location was amazing, easy access to everywhere. The room was very pretty and spacious. The bath tab was great for healing fatigue after so much walk in Rome. Also cleaning was on a daily basis, so, we had fresh towels and well made room everyday :) The hotel staff was fantastic! Very helpful, attentive, kind and friendly. Any questions and any requests, he did look into it immediately. We had a very lovely stay. Would love to come back again sometime soon.

Loved everything about it especially the Airbnb property manager! She was awesome and very professional!

This room was much more then what I was expecting to get. beautiful and large room with huge comfortable bed. there was a standing bath in the middle of the room , I think that's a great romantic facility :) the location is super central next to Via del corso , shops and restaurants . loved it.

the key to the room is an old key not a smart card so it stacks in the lock every time I got out of the room or got in the room, it not fun to get stack outside the room in the middle of night. there is a small elevator and its not quite on the entry, you have to go a few steps up or down to take the elevator and you are carrying a big luggage is pretty heavy and hard.
