<Good>1.It is a great option for pilgrims as it is very close to the San Giovanni in Laterano Cathedral, which has been used as the Vatican for a thousand years, and also close to St. Paul's Cathedral outside the castle. 2. It is much safer than Termini Station, where many tourists stay. 3.It is a little far to go sightseeing on foot in the tourist center, but if you use the subway or bus, it is not a long distance. In particular, you can reach almost all tourist attractions in about 30 minutes by subway. 4. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and there are many bus lines . 5.It is cheaper and quieter than hotels near tourist attractions. 6. Cleanliness, facilities, breakfast, and security are all excellent enough to match the level of a four-star hotel. <Sad>1. Since it is located away from the tourist center, night tours are difficult. 2. The bus ride to the tourist center can take about 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. 3. There are no airport buses and it is far from the tour package meeting place.

The staff are so kind and helpfull. Especially Luka Giovanni (might not have remembered the name right) and also Roberto and all the other staff. When I arrived early before the check in time, the receptionist welcomed me and gave me the room regardless. I had only eaten breakfast one time because I get out early, but the breakfast was rich and tasty and you can take it with tray to your room. Excellent staff and excellent hotel, the location is a bit far from the center and you have to walk alot or take taxis and metros or busses. But its near a local neighborhood where you can get to see rome at a local point of view. 10/10

The property is very clean and close to most of the places to visit. It is like 15 minutes walk from Colosseum. The staff is helping with any questions. The breakfast is very good and offers several choices. The cleaning services is done daily and they change the sheets so we can sleep very well. This is also very kid friendly. The bus to most of the places is also 2 minutes walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

I like everything, except they did not have availability so I could not book my last stay with them.

It was a 20 min walk from the colosseum and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. It was also very close to a bus stop. The ac worked great and was awesome to come back to after a hot day in the summer sun. The breakfast was standard- eggs, bacon, coffee machine and variety of pastries. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable too.

We had a rental car and the parking for the hotel was expensive.

Our stay at Hotel San Giovanni Roma was superb. The room was stylish and cosy, providing a welcoming haven after a day of exploring. The breakfast spread was exceptional, offering a variety of delicious options. Situated in a quiet yet central location, we found it easy to walk to Rome's main attractions. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, making our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rome.

Location is great, hotel is in quiet area, close to the store and bus station number 628 that takes you to all major attractions in the city. Hotel was clean and cleaning ladies are doing an excellent job, changing linen and toiletries every day. The guys at the reception were also very helpful.

Breakfast was nice, but it was little bit uncomfortable to eat with small forks and spoons on the small tables (especially if you are a taller person 😂). Also, it would be great to have a kettle in the room and a bathrobe for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel was clean with large modern rooms. Very nice continental breakfast included with many options. Good family restaurant right across the street. Close to bus stops so if you travel the city by bus it is very convenient to get you to the city centre and to the stations. 10-15 minute car ride to train stations.

Staff were moderately helpful but some were also a little arrogant. Some staff were more informed and able to provide helpful travel information than others.
