The accommodation was easily reached by bus from Roma Termini and we were greeted by a delightful sister who provided us with all the information we required despite speaking almost no English. The room and bathroom were small, but my husband and 6ft son still found it comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was generous (fresh fruit, cereal, cold meat, cheese, bread and pastries). We were able to store our luggage on-site on the day we checked out, as we visited the Via Appia Antica and Catacombs (by nearby bus again). We LOVED staying here.

Nothing.

The location was superb. It was a 10 minute walk to the Roman ruins along an enjoyable, wooded road. The metro station was only a 10 minute walk also. The metro was only a 5 minute journey to Termini station. The food in local restaurants was exceptional also as they catered for local residents as opposed to tourists. The room was peaceful, and extremely relaxing. The shower was a little small but it was manageable. The room was also extremely clean and was cleaned to a very high standard each day. The breakfast was perfect too. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very caring.

I only spent one afternoon and one night at the holiday house of the Dominican sisters. And I had the most wonderful time with them. The reception staff were friendly and helpful from the start. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, as well as very clean. The sisters are in charge of preparing a fantastic breakfast. The location is very good and it is easy to connect several bus lines. I had time to move around central Rome. At the reception they gave me very good advice about it.

This accommodation belongs to a Dominican convent. This is not an inconvenience, on the contrary in my case. But I think that before going there, you have to keep this clear and, in every moment, you have to go in an act of respect.

Room was clean, warm really high ceiling making room feel bigger, breakfast was lovely plenty of choice , all staff we met were very friendly and helpful especially when my sister felt unwell, short walk to collusem and metro

The hotel has return by 11pm policy which puts you on time limit if our for drinks or food, it's about 15 mins walk to nearest place for food, coffee etc. room didn't have kettle to make a drink but is vending machine to buy at very reasonable cost for a coffee

The place was really lovely, the sisters were very kind and helpful, the room was big, so was the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and very generous- overall a great place to stay. Also well-connected to the bus network with easy access to the city centre.

The heating wasn't working or wasn't on yet (my stay was in late November), so it got quite cold during the night and the hot water was not functioning either, but that did not really hinder the experience all too much.

Breakfast was solid, served promptly, with lots of coffee. Pane, biscuits, croissants, lots of condiments. I'm used to Italian breakfasts so it was great for me, don't be expecting plates of bacon and eggs like if you were in the US. Room was nice as well, mine was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable for me. Staff were the best, from the Sisters to Maurizio and "Engino" (my apologies, unsure of the spelling), were very helpful in food recommendations and travel tips to get around the city.

As others have mentioned, spotty wifi at times, but there is a nice room where it worked quite well. Good for making plans and checking maps online.

More laidback location outside the busy city center. Very good strategic point for visiting the Archeological Park. This is the right place for those who seek basic but very safe stay in Rome. The facilities were rather simple and retro (from 1960-70s?), although covered all my needs, were kept so clean and tidy, which I felt a sincere and warm welcome as a guest. They practice curfew after 11pm, so I could have such good night sleep in a comfy bed in calmness and security. Breakfast consisted of croissants, cream cheese, ham, coffee/tea, juice, yogurt and some fruits. Staff and sister were all helpful, kind and attentive. I appreciate the hospitality and care.

Nothing. But if I had to point out one thing, wifi. I had so weak wifi coverage in the room - but surprisingly it was stable enough, even for purchasing an online ticket to the Archeological Park.

As most reviewers note, the breakfast is more extensive than most inexpensive Italian B&Bs. Very clean, cleaned every day, friendly staff, in a word: Comfortable.

It's a bit far from the nearest Metro stop, but as I had already walked extensively across Hilly mountaintop Italian towns, I was adjusted.

The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of options - pastries, fruit, cereal, bread etc. The location was around 15 mins walk from the Colosseum. A few bus routes stop near the property.

Once I got off the bus, I found it a little tricky to locate the property but this was due to google maps directions. I asked someone who pointed me in the right direction.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Friendly staff. A shortish walk from the Colliseum and Circus Maximus. Quiet too with the well-glazed windows. Would recommend unless you want to go out until late... doors shut at 11-12pm
