I had a great stay at this hotel. It’s very comfortable, private, and peaceful. The location is excellent — close to everything I needed and easy to get around. Even though there’s no reception, the check-in instructions were clear and straightforward. The hospitality was outstanding, and when I needed to book an extra night, they managed it quickly and with great care. I truly appreciated their responsiveness and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, well-located, and well-managed place to stay.

The only downside is that, since there’s no reception, there’s no place to store luggage if you arrive before check-in time. I had to leave my bag at a bar across the street. It wasn’t a big issue, but it’s something to keep in mind. Other than that, everything was great.

This stay was perfect for our stay in Rome. Location was phenomenal as you are just a couple minutes walk down the street from the colosseum. Being able to walk down the main street that the Roman forum is on seeing all of the street art and performers and walk past the colosseum in the evenings every night all lit up was unbelievable. Maybe 15-20 minute walk to the Trevi fountain which for us is within walking distance. Train station is fairly close as well as a bus stop. I would say you get what you pay for. Room was just fine for us and customer service was great. Air conditioning was a plus!

It was close to Coliseum

The hotel's location was great — very close to the Coliseum and bus stops. The room was clean, quiet, and had a tea and coffee machine, which was a nice touch. However, the host was not very hospitable, and there were too many restrictions in the room, which made it hard to relax. I also had a bad experience when trying to extend my stay — I was told no rooms were available, but I later saw availability online. Overall, I'd rate it an 8.

The room is small and economical. Just the kind that won't break your bank account if you're traveling solo and don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation near the Colosseum. There's a 24-hour Tesco store nearby, which is great.

In the room where I was accommodated, the bathroom requires urgent reconstruction. Replacing the shower enclosure and sealing is very necessary. The space between the toilet and the sink is very small and fat people would not fit there. Which is not my case and so I did not mind it so much.

The area is very close to everything central but has a sense of local residents. There are good local restaurants available and the Colosseum and metro are five minutes walk away, Monti was ten minutes walk away. The rooms are nicely done out and were very clean. Although it is on the third floor, there is a well functioning lift. Check-in was efficiently done via online and so access was easy.

The bathroom was a little small - it served its purpose tho.

I loved the location and ease of access in and out of the property. Really clear instructions and great communication back and forth. For the price of the accommodation I would say this is excellent, especially for how close it is to the Colosseum and excellent restaurants such as Divin Ostilia - highly recommend if you want some great traditional food.

There wasn’t much I disliked. The walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbouring rooms pretty easily but this doesn’t bother me, personally.

Really impressed for the price. There is an elevator to take you to the 3rd floor where the rooms are. Can't beat the location, literally around the corner from the Colosseum, with lots of restaurants and gelato places around. Quick access to both bus, train, and metro.. two stops from Termini (2€ one way). The rooms where a bit bigger than Japanese business hotels, strong shower, bidet. great place to lay your head when not out exploring. Workers were nice. I read comments on another booking site that they were rude, probably due to chatting over whatsapp when they are not at the desk, which can be hard to communicate through, but in person, I didn't sense this at all and they were some of the nicest people. Also easy to find, shows up on google maps.

Noisy neighbors was the one major problem I had. luck of the draw I suppose. They woke me up one of my nights at 1am being loud and obnoxious when they got back to their room. Likely a rare occurrence. Also you have to check in the first day between 9:30am and 2pm, which was a problem since I was still flying in, thankfully I had wifi and I was able to do check in over text message from my flight using WiFi, so make sure you have WiFi if you are going to be on a flight during check in time.

My mum and I visited Rome recently and stayed at Easy Budget Colosseo. Our experience was great. Very spacious room location is superb... the place is literally around the corner from Colosseo. Great for family and friends with restaurants and bars in the area... also very safe. Eliza the owner, is nice and answered all our questions. I'll definitely staying in this place again on my next visit to Rome. Highly recommended!

Budget friendly accommodation that felt secure and very convenient to the Colosseum. They kept it very clean and towels were a generous size. Nice that there is a hot water kettle and espresso machine as well. They also provided a large bottle of water which was helpful. Our fridge did feel cold but note they have a restriction on eating in the room so we didn’t really use the fridge. There’s an option to have the room cleaned or not daily - they did a nice job cleaning.

Not allowed to eat in the room. Bathroom a little musty so suggest future improvements re tiling the enclosure.

Great bed, gel pillows, excellent hot water & shower power. Convenient at a large shopping Mall 10 steps away with bank ATMs, food court open until 10pm and many breakfast options at 7am. Also the train is 10 steps the other way! LOVED this place! The shuttle from the airport is AC and the driver walks you into the lobby. The hotel pays the shuttle driver and we paid the hotel, all via CC which was great.

There is no view is the only downside I could see. The hotel pick up from the airport is not clear how it is paid which made us nervous since we didn't have EU yet and thought we would need it for the driver.
