We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel! Not sure why people rate the place with such a low mark, we think price corresponds the quality! Accommodation in Rome is expensive overall, so book your stay in advance and be sure - it will be a good stay, in a clean room, with nice people and good service. First of all - location! just 10 mins walk from Vatican, metro station and bus stop. Also, a lot of different cafes and shops near by, quite backyard. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, bedlinen was perfectly clean. There were some issues in the bathroom but we always had hot/cold water which is the most important. We had a hairdryer, little fridge, a small balcony, conditioner in the room to manage temperature. Also, we got a breakfast on an open-air terrace. It always included good coffee, eggs, some fruits and pastry, cheese and ham and yogurts. Would be good to include some veggies, too :) We were offered a free taxi from the airport which was nice, and we booked an extra one when leaving - the car was comfortable and the driver was polite. There was no kettle to boil some water for tea unfortunately...but you can drink tap water and a receptionist helped us microwave some water when needed.

Property very close to many attractions like St. Peter’s square, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, Castle Sant’Angelo to name a few. All within walking distance from hotel. Also, rooms were comfortable and clean. The included morning breakfast is also very nice.

luggage storage is available, if you wish to go out prior to check in or after check out, but they don’t give you a bag ticket or “lock” the storage closet so it doesn’t appear very secure. I left my bags to spend a few hours sight seeing, but to be honest I was worried about my bags. LUCKILY all was OK and I didn’t have any problems.

The hotel is located just a km walk from vatican city. The clean up the hotel and change the linens and towels averyday. The breakfast was amazing. Our room is big with two separate bedrooms which is useful when I need to have an online meeting while kids are sleeping.

The wifi is weak at the big room, only good at the room near the entrance.

The hotel rooms are very big so that was a nice start, AC in the building as well which was very much needed in the 38 degrees weather we had. The hotel is also in a good location to be able to do a walk from here to Vatican city all the way to the Colloseum sightseeing all the highlights in a 4 Kilometer walk. Breakfast had good variety too

The room was pretty damaged in the bathroom and the AC remote. The blinds also got stuck so we had to go outside to fix it so it could be better in that department.

It has an American quality (it is part of the Choice hotels), even when you can tell the hotel had had better days. It is located in a quiet area, you can access by metro, we didn't mind that at all. The location was actually great to go to the Vatican on Sunday, we were even able to see the Pope. Breakfast has a lot of options, and I love that the play a radio with only Italian music, finally!

Breakfast was very good. Food stations with variety of breads, fruits, yogurts, juices and coffee. eggs and sausages a cheese to be select. The room was clean every day and replace of the bathroom's products was appreciated. The staff was very friendly and help us went needed.

The beds were not that comfy.

The hotel is big and clean. The maids cleaned our room everyday. The breakfast was the same everyday, there were various options but the only thing i didn’t like is that there were vegetables only one of the days. The location is close to the Vatican.

Close to Vatican. Nice breakfast. Comfortable beds. Staff was understanding about problem checking out on time. Overall was not best place we stayed in 6 weeks, but not worst either.

Noisy people on street below late at night. Ran out of eggs both days. Bathroom not handicapped accessible - specifically no grab bar at toilet and tight fit through door for wheelchair. No washcloths. Is that an Italian/Greek thing? Instructions for how to use bidet would have been useful
