Host Pietro was friendly and communicative from the beginning (when I asked about the room's natural ventilation, he answered quickly). On the day of our arrival, he also waited longer than planned to hand over the keys and show us the accommodation. Judging from the outside, the Domus Vatican Holiday's doesn't look very promising: it is a business located inside what appears to be an impersonal commercial/residential building, and impossible to identify due to the absence of any sign outside. Once inside, however, things changed and our room, as simple as it was comfortable, made us feel at home. There were some Dolce Gusto-style coffee maker capsules that we used immediately and thought were just a welcome gift, but every morning the staff gave us new capsules! Cleanliness was also exceptional: without us asking, the hotel staff cleaned our room daily - a better routine than that of many official hotels. It's worth mentioning that the area where the Domus Vatican is located is really quiet. Even though it's not exactly touristy (which is also a good thing, if you want to avoid crowds), the area is within walking distance of the Vatican and the bohemian neighborhood of Trastevere. It's also very close to the Cipro Metro station, which allows you to get around easily. When I return to Rome, I will return to Domus Vatican for sure!

I don't remember anything that I didn't like. I spent four nights at the hotel and it was a really peaceful experience in the midst of a somewhat chaotic and very tiring trip.

A great stay! Clean, comfortable, and we appreciated how complete the room was with a loveseat, table, and chairs, and a nice deck space outside with some more chairs and a little table. Pietro was very kind and welcoming, and helped us sort out a mistake we made with the booking. The small communal kitchen was also a lifesaver while trying to visit Rome on a budget, since we were able to cook pasta and hardboiled eggs instead of just subsisting on pb&j. The price was great and it was a very short walk to the Vatican area, so very well placed. And there were good grocery stores (Todis and Penny) just a few minutes away.

Doors were a little thin, so in the morning we were sometimes woken up by other people in the hallway who were heading out before us. And the communal kitchen had only one small pot. Neither were big deals, but a little inconvenient.

A lot of good things , a very nice host , the bed was comfy the room was getting cleaned everyday after we go outside, due to the heavy traffic in Rome with the recent events our public transport was late , our host waited for us and helped us with check in one hour later than what we agreed on, very friendly and nice person.

The only thing we didn't like is the soundproofing , you could hear basically all the other rooms in Domus and whenever the main door closes / opens, which woke us up a few times , besides this little problem, everything else was wonderful!

I liked the cleanliness and the hospitality. The owner had provided the breakfast for the 1st day, although it was not included. He also had put a bottle of wine for us to celebrate the New Year's Eve.

It has been a very comfortable accommodation. Pietro has treated us very well from the first moment, where despite arriving later than the agreed time to check-in, he was kindly waiting for us at the reception to give us the keys and show us the room. At all times he has tried to help us with advice on possible restaurants according to our tastes or how to get around the city. The room was large and everything was very clean. We have had a kitchen available to be able to prepare food whenever we wanted. As if all this were not enough, the last day allowed me to stay longer after checking out in the common space to telework, being able to connect to the Wi-Fi while the cleaning staff tried not to make noise, quite a detail. Thank you for all the treatment received, I recommend everyone who wants to enter Rome to choose this hotel, the attention is exquisite and the price is unbeatable.

The owner Pietro has an excellent attitude, his communication was always prompt and helpful and he made us feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable, super clean and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. It was very helpful to have an access to a shared kitchen supplied with plates, cups, glasses and other utensils if you choose self-catering. The room also came with variety of coffee capsules and tea packets along with the appropriate equipment to use them. The entire space including common areas was always clean and well taken care off. The private bathroom attached to the room was great and modern with the best water pressure, and complimentary shampoo and shower gel were provided along with super clean towels. The owner always makes sure the rooms get tidied up every day and does so in a very respectful and efficient manner. The location was also great - lots of various supermarkets near-by, about 10 minutes walk to the Metro station, and about 20 minutes walk to the Vatican. We will be happy to choose this place again for our future visits to Rome.

We would prefer the fridge in our doom to be at lower temperature, but this is how new modern fridges seem to be designed these days.

Everything was perfect.

the host was very nice and inviting, showed us everything with a smile. the room was very clean and had an air conditioning so that was a big plus!! the bus communication also great with many lines and metro 10 minutes away from the place. very much recommended!!

Host was a very nice and helpful person, he even move our room with one with balcony without us asking him to do that wich was a very nice gesture. Localization was also nice, quiet neighborhood with walkable distanse to center (20 minutes to Vatican)
