Really excellent place and very good value for money. Stayed one night before flying from Bologna airport which was 20mins drive away. The pool is really nice and the restaurant is excellent and has some proper choices for vegetarians. We stayed in a little house away from the main building which was fine. When we arrived there was a monsoon but there is an underground carpark with access to the reception. Also good for security for the car. In general it was much better than I expected.

My only suggestion is that in nowadays a hotel at this level should provide a kettle and coffee maker in the room, which they don't. -

Pool and restaurant were both fantastic, the variety and quality of food and service at the restaurant were some of the best we’ve had within Europe and internationally. The toiletries were great. And regardless of who was at reception, we were given assistance on all request such as booking an alternate restaurant on days they were closed, recommending best options to go to Bologna if not driving or park house tips if driving including avoid ZTL zones. Rooms were comfortable.

Maybe just automatically replacing toiletries like shower gels during stay. We’ve had to make do with the original set of toiletries when we arrived for the 4 days stay.

We picked this hotel because we wanted to visit Bologna. When we arrived, we spoke to the staff who gave us lots of information to help with our trip and booked us a taxi. Upon our return, we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant which was the best value during a two week trip and also, the best meal. The food apart from being very reasonably priced was exceptionally high-quality.

Nothing except there was a slight problem with the air-conditioning on the day we were there.

The location is close to Bologna that you can visit, but at the same time far away from the very touristy and noise area. It is a wonderful property, beautifully arranged, with huge trees and lovely flowers. The rooms are very spacious, well equipped with anything you may need (toiletries, slippers etc). Very good breakfast and the stuff are extremely friendly. There is also an underground parking for the hotel guests, as well as some spaces right in front of the hotel. On the location you have a restaurant which is definitely known to the locals - every night there were people coming to have dinner, celebrating various occasions or simply to enjoy the great food (the appetizers, the pizza, the pasta, the bread, the sweets, they are all worth it).

Beautiful scenery/setting of the hotel. Wish we had arrived earlier to enjoy a stroll around the property. Underground secure parking. First class breakfast - fresh, excellently cooked and presented. First rate restaurant attached for evening meal, lovely setting around the pool - clearly popular with locals so know what is good/bad. Ease of access from autostrada - will definitely book there again.

Great place with well maintained, beautiful garden. Nice pool, good breakfast and restaurant. Very clean. Professional and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only thing might be the pool opening hours. As we were there for work it was hard to go swimming as the pool was either not open, or already closed.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at this hotel, after spending time exploring both Bologna and Florence. We wanted some time to relax and we certainly did that. The room was spacious and clean, the grounds and pool area were immaculate, and the service from staff was exceptional. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant on a number of occasions, and the food was great, in terms of choice and taste. We didn't explore much of the immediate surrounding area, other than a nearby park which had live music on at the weekend, which was fantastic and I would strongly recommend. It was easy to get to and from Bologna, and we got a taxi to the airport directly from the hotel for approx. €30. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a hidden gem on the outskirts of Bologna, with lovely grounds, facilities, and great service.

Beautiful villa hotel with a nice garden and pool area with restaurant around it. The breakfast was also good. The gentlemen working in the breakfast restaurant was especially service minded. The Spa is small but very nice and feels very private. Loved the older Italian ladies, who come to the pool area on week-days :) They buy day-pass and socialize with friends. Enjoyed to stay close to Bologna and still have a hotel with garden and pool, when the weather is to hot for city life.

Its possible for locals to buy day-access to the pool and garden, and during weekends and some week days, the hotel sold far too many access' for this. I understand its a good way to support their income, but during weekends the pool and garden was filled with local day-guests and it did not leave space for guests checking in late. During our stay there was private events in the garden almost every evening, with band and music and this is a bit disturbing. On the positive side, its a lively garden and you are still able to have dinner and drinks in the garden restaurant, as the private parties are set up around in the garden. The all close the music at 24:00, so not late night..

A boutique hotel in a beautiful garden setting, lovely big swimming pool with plenty of sun beds both around the pool and under shade trees. Great restaurant by the pool with tables both under shade cover or in full sun. Very good menu and reasonably priced. My room was a good size with a huge comfortable bed and a large ensuite. I also enjoyed the wellness centre ( sauna, spa). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would love to return as I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A coffee pod machine or kettle would have been good in the room and a full length mirror ( there was only the mirror over the bathroom vanity in my bathroom). The hair dryer appeared to have been dropped as nozzle could not be fitted). Minor quibbles that wouldn’t stop me returning.

Very pretty property in a great location just on the outskirts of Bologna city. It’s a much prettier location to stay in my opinion than central Bologna. Best to have a car - 15 mins from Bologna centre. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff were fantastic, helpful and so accomodative. We can’t praise them enough. Thank you!
