The property was exceptionally clean. I was in bedroom 1 with ample space and room to move. This gave me access to a private bathroom and Marco was in touch with me whenever I needed help or information. It was fully automated behind the scenes and I was given keys to give me a sense of independence. There is a kitchen /food area with breakfast snacks available. Other guests may occupy the other rooms but they had their own ensuites.. I learnt that I could get a bus directly from Siracusa to Catania Airport using the bus stop literally a minute or two away, across the road from that of the accommodation. €6.20

The property is not 460 m away from the train station. Marco informed me it is at least 1.2 Kms so be prepared for a walk. The accommodation is about a 25 minute walk to Ortigia island and most of the sights. However, the modern cathedral and some antiquities are close by.

Marco is the property manager, he is very sociable, helpful, and he speaks English. The checkin process was simple, I messaged Marco on WhatsApp before we arrived. The property has high quality windows, the air conditioning unit cooled down the room quickly even though the temperatures reached 41 celsius during our stay. The shower in our room always had warm water unlike other properties that we visited when on holiday in Greece, Thailand, and Mexico. The property has a modern Rinnai gas boiler that heats the water for all the rooms in the property. The water pressure in our shower was good. The sink has a plug so that you can wash your clothes in the sink, and a hole in the top of the sink to stop the sink from overflowing when washing your clothes. The breakfast was better than we expected, Marco would purchase different fresh Sicilian pastries each morning, cornflakes, milk, Lavazza coffee machine and capsules, tea, other desserts and snacks. Marco provided clean towels, and asked if we needed new towels, the housekeeping woman would change the bedding every 3 days, and clean the bathroom floor. The room has a large fridge, and worked very well, we would store our water bottles, and had cold, refreshing water. The tourist tax is included in the price, all the other properties we visited on Sicily did not include the tourist tax in the price, which is between €1.50 - 2, per person, per night. Marco memorised what I would eat for breakfast, and prepared it in advance each morning. I would have a cup of cold Nesquik chocolate, cornflakes with milk, a fresh Siciliani pastry, a fruit yogurt. The dining area has a modern wooden floor, a fancy light on the ceiling, restaurant style dining tables and chairs. The property has a communal balcony and two laundry lines where you can hang your washed laundry to dry. The bus stop is 200 metres away from the property, Interbus, Sais, and AST all stop here. We used this bus stop to go Catania andTaormina.

I had a great experience staying at Siracusa Holidays. The location is great. Very close to Parco Archeologico della Neapolis, about a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 25 minute walk to Ortigia. The owner is very friendly. Check out is in the morning, but I was able to leave my luggage at the accommodation as my flight wasn't until late in the evening and he made sure to be there when I came to pick it up. The building can be a bit noisy, however this wasn't an issue during the night.

The room and the private bathroom were very clean. The staff was very friendly and knew English. The location was quite central and walking distance. There was a common fridge in the lounge area with free coffee and snacks. A free of charge, last minute request for a baby cot was met without any issues. Breakfast are which is outside of the property was cute and typical Sicilian cafeteria.

We couldn't walk in the room due to so many things, furniture and beds - we requested an additional cot in the room so we ended up putting some things in the balcony to gain some space. No kettle in the room or in the common area.

The apartment is well-managed, with a nice dining room and plenty of supplies—apples, oranges, tea, coffee, milk, etc. They offer a nice breakfast. The room is spacious, bright, and quiet, and the bed is large and comfortable. The host even brought me a juicer so I could make fresh orange juice in the morning. I really appreciated his friendly service!

The room was perfect in all details. The communication with Mariella via phone/net was easy, very friendly and helpfull. The price-performance ratio was excellent. The proximity to the Parco Archaeologico was good.

Avoiding the pretty high accomodation rates in Ortigia as well as staying close to the ancient ruins had to be "payed" by being approx 2,2 km away from Piazza del Duomo in Ortigia, which was a bit annoying to pace around.

Place was clean, spacious and comfortable. The host initiated contact early and guided me through check-in and was always available. I checked out before I was able to pay the tourist tax, which he waived generously so I didn't have the extra stress of walking back. Great value for the money.

Quite close to rail and bus stations. Clean and fresh feel to the room. Good ensuite facilities and a nice big double bed! Staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was served in a local cafe (fortunately on the way to the rail station). Unfortunately it was closed on my first day (May Day holiday) but a staff member phoned me and arranged an alternative, so full marks to her!

Mariella and Paolo were very friendly, flexible with check-in, and responsive. I had a minor issue with the bathroom and after letting Mariella know, it was promptly acknowledged and resolved within a few hours. Mariella gave me some suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the city. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

It is in a great location, close to Ortigia. Spacious room with a comfy double-size bed. Clean room and bathroom. I stayed here for 12 nights in December and loved everything.
