I recently spent two wonderful days at B&B Tarì while visiting Siracusa and Ortigia. The breakfast was delightful, I particularly enjoyed the homemade marmalade that Davide offered to me as a gift before living—please extend my thanks to your mom for such a delicious treat! The B&B is conveniently located, just a kilometer or less from Ortigia and close to the historic center, making it easy to explore the area. I was initially concerned about parking, but I found a space right next to the main door, which was a pleasant surprise. Davide was incredibly helpful, reassuring me that my car would be safe and taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. His patience and support made a significant difference. The instructions for my stay were well-explained and sent via WhatsApp, which made the check-in process seamless. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend this B&B for anyone visiting Siracusa. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality!

1. Very near to train station and bus terminal, also to historical Greek and Roman park, but not to old town. 2. The room was enough big and clean.

1. Breakfast area wa too small as it is provided in the kitchen. Only 4 person could sit in very close position. 2. The kitchen was for owner's use only and the microwave and other facilities could not be used by the guest. 3. The shower could not be maintained at constant temperature. Very often changed to cold water.

A really gentle and helpful host. He shared all the details for checking in, he was responding to my questions even before I arrived at the residence. He had provided a suggested route to follow in order to explore the city, he had marked restaurants and other places of interest. He helped me book a sailing trip, provided information for a daily trip to Noto, and helped me overcome any fears for visiting Etna. He even said "arrivederci" with a nice gift. Truly appreciate this kind of hosts. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing (one can easily skip lunch). The B&B is nicely located close to Ortigia but far away from the touristic noise. It is also 2 minutes away from the bus station that takes you to Catania airport and other places of interest nearby. There is nothing I spotted during the 2 days of my stay

The accommodation was a good size, clean and comfortable. It had a good location within walking distance of the main tourist site in Siracusa and close to the bus station and railway station. When my flight was delayed, meaning I would miss the latest check-in time, the host provided very clear and comprehensive instructions as to how to perform self-check-in. On my arrival, he had also provided a map with suggestions of places to eat. An excellent craft beer bar, Civico Maltato, was a short walk away. On a night, the air-conditioning was quiet and could be left on to keep the room cool.

The accommodation is not in the most scenic part of Siracusa. My room had a view of the roof of the adjacent building and the nearby railway station. The other rooms are likely to have a view of a fairly non-descript street. On the plus side, it is centrally located between the archaeological sites and Ortygia and is within easy walking distance to both. For those that are less mobile, there are ramps into the property although some are steep and, when on the ground floor (the accommodation is on the third floor), there is a step between the corridor and the lift (which is small - not sure if a wheelchair will fit).

I would may be have two different sets of pillows: one more flat and the other more soft (at the moment both sets are flat), so guests can choose. Shower tap may need some adjustment as the water temperature hard to control. Beware if come by car, streets are very busy and parking can be a challenge, but if you follow what Davide suggests - wait at the corner when a supermarket visitor leaves and take his place ;)

Very close to bus and train stations. Easy walk to Ortigia; easy walk to archeological park. Supermarket and major thoroughfare nearby. Very clean. Super large room; comfortable bed; nice to have table & chairs in room. Breakfast adequate - cheese, meats, juice, fruit, yoghurt, cornetto and rolls. Host very pleasant and helpful. Registration and arrival worked smoothly.

The water pressure in the shower was weak. Not the nicest area (but I didn’t feel unsafe).

The host was nice, the information for going in was accurate and easy, it was very nice of him that it was possible to leave the luggage’s until we moved from the city. The breakfast in the room was also nice. He was so kind to leave as a bottle of water and a map where he marked the nice spots. It is very near to the train station. The ac works really good. It’s was nice of him to give us new towels and clean the bathroom in between. There was a little fridge in the room where we could put in our water.

The mattress is quite hard and you could feel the metal feathers, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable for me, my boyfriend didn’t mind so much. The devices in the bathroom are a little bit broke, but still useable. It’s a really basic, so if you don’t expect Luxus it’s ok

Very spacious room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. Position is close to Ortigia and to the Greek Neapolis and the Roman theatre. Can do everything walking in the city. Davide is a very competent host and gives you any information you need. B&B Tarì is highly recommended to explore the area. I Suggest to ask Davide upfront for the parking options so to choose the one best suited to the needs. Not a problem, just an organisation factor.

Temperamental lift! Parking a bit of a gamble but free. Beware of parking restrictions.

A lot of room, everything you will need, close to several walking restaurants. Easy 13 minutes walking to Ortega. The host David very kind and helpful for all questions.
