Good location, 10 minute walk to Ortigia. We had breakfast on our balcony. There's a busy street down below but the balcony doors muffled the sounds, so we didn't have any noise complaints. Everything was cleaned daily. The host communicated clearly and was ready to answer any questions. Easy to find free street parking all around, the host provided a map so you could be sure you were in a free area.

Not much space to put your toiletries or hang up towels in the bathroom. Bathroom extractor fan was probably blocked because we had lots of steam buildup during showering.

Photo Guest B&B offers good, clean, no frills, value for money accommodation in a convenient location with Ortigia being a 15- 20 minute walk away. We were able to find free off-site parking nearby but there is also a pay car park next door to the block housing the property. A basic breakfast was provided and the room was cleaned each day. Our host Giovanni was very friendly and gave us some excellent recommendations for places to eat and to visit including a boat trip with a generous discount.

Although it suited our routine, the limited time frame for breakfast between 8 and 9am would not suit everyone.

The PhotoGuest B&B is an excellent choice. It is quite new and modern. And, It was decorated with the beautiful local photos of our host. Our room had a King bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom is roomy, the shower is large and the towels are teriffic. There were ample towels supplied as well. We also had a small deck with a table and two chairs. Breakfast was served at a large table and was very good. The attendants were delightful! Friendly and accommodating. Giovanni, our host, met us to check us in and to acquaint us with the property. He supplied information about Syracuse as well as options for excursions. The property is located in a central location...20 min walk from Ortigia, The Archological Museum and the Archeological Park. Very easy walk to the train station as well. I recommend this property as a very good choice in Syracuse.

Except for the dining room, there was no commen place for guests

The host is helpful and communicative, providing prompt replies to queries and offering advice and suggestions on possible travel plans. The room is spacious and functional, with a well-thought-out layout and effective heating for winter. The location is great centrally situated with convenient walking access to Ortigia depending on your walking speed. Additionally, the host quickly provided an electric kettle when requested. There is also a nice cafe across the street and some shopping places nearby.

It's a simple room, though good value for money.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The check-in process was easy, The room was airy and bright (and clean, of course). There is really nothing that could have been improved upon. Located just outside Ortigia, both the old town and the Neapolis Archaeological Park are within easy walking distance. Street parking is available close by, but empty spaces can be tough to find. The best about the place though, is the owner Giovanni. He is extraordinarily helpful, and can give recommendations for pretty much anything.

Owner Giovanni kindly met us upon our late evening arrvial due to issues with trains, showed us everything the property had and helped us to arrange a lovely breakfast for the next day. Location really handy for the station (10 mins walk with cases) getting across to neighbouring Ortigia and a handy supermarket just round the corner. Always good to have a balcony with views as per the property picture. Stayed for 4 nights, our room was perhaps slightly smaller than we would ideally have liked but nonetheless we made it work for us. Breakfast/cleaning team were very friendly, room nicely presented and immaculately clean. Kettle added to the room at our request also

Great hospitality and very helpful host Giovanni who gave us - the possibilty for an early check-in - some useful tips about our arrival ( shortcut from the train station ) and departure ( hours and fermata of the Interbus ) - some good recommendations for restaurants ( we had 2 exceptional diners at "8 O'Clock" & "Retroscena" ). The location and decoration of the guesthouse : ideally situated in the middle between Ortigia and the new Siracusa with the Neapolis Archeological Parc, and close by the public transport of train and busses.

Absolutely nothing !

This was a beautiful stay in Siracusa. It´s very easy to see the love and dedication that the owner put into this place. The location is very good, close to the historical center but outside the ZTL zone. Parking by car was possible without any problem and communication was easy and straightforward. We also get detailed maps of how to leave our car in the surrounding area without having to pay. We visited in march, but probably it´s a little bit more tricky during high season. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. The breakfast was very good, specially the handmade jams. It was possible to customize it a little bit with a more presence of eggs and less presence of pastries, which was amazing. We also had delicious blood oranges and cappuccino.

It´s hard to come up with something bad of this stay. In this case the breakfast was served in our room which some people might love and some other don´t.

Great location in Syracuse. An easy walk to Ortigia Island where we spent a whole day. The property is exceptionally clean and secure. Breakfasts were great plus it was lovely to meet the other guests over breakfast. Giovanni has everything under control. He will help you with restaurant ideas, tour ideas and parking of the rental car. He seems to be always not far away should you need anything. I was relaxing late in the afternoon and thought I’d love a hot cup of tea. So I sent Giovanni a message to see if I good boil a kettle in the kitchen. He came straight over with a small little jug to boil water in our room and 2 tea cups. I didn’t expect him to do that but he just did it. Photoguest B&B is very efficiently run. We loved it there

We had a great stay in PhotoGuest and received an excellent service from Giovanni. He was very helpful and provided us the suggestions what to see in Syracuse and around. We had a perfect boat trip to the caves (with a nice discount for the guests) and for the trip to Etna we received coupons for a meal at a top cable car station. Location is really perfect with a short walking distance to all the most important places to visit during your stay in Syracuse. If you are visiting a city by a car, you can enjoy free parking spaces just in a front of the building.
