The apartment was spacious clean and comfortable for our week stay. Annalisa was an attentive host and made herself available although we really didnt need her much as everything was taken care of.We had some hot days but the Air con and the marble floors kept us cool. If you enjoy living amongst the locals and getting to know your local shopkeepers then this is a good place to stay. Ortigia is a 15 min walk and we did this a few times a day which allowed us to eat more!! The suburb can look a little run down in areas as is all of sicily but don't let that scare you off. The people were wonderful.

Huge apartment in great location - fairly easy to park but also very central to the attractions in Syracuse. The hosts took trouble to ensure we had all that we needed. We loved the little balcony overlooking the street from the main bedroom.

A couple of tiny things - would have been good to have some bottled water provided, and since we are English we would have liked a kettle to make tea, but we made do with a saucepan of water.

The flat is spacious and easy to keep cool, all TVs were smart TVs. There was a washing machine and the weather means clothes dry overnight.. Very easy walk to Ortiaga where there is a great viewing spot at the harbour with great bars and atmosphere.

Sadly only a few hand towels were left and no kettle was available at the time. Be careful to explain what bedding you require in advance. All communication needs translation.

the tap water tasted terrible. I bicycled around the island, staying in some 10 different towns. this was one of two that did not provide a 2L bottle of water for me upon arrival. would be nice for this place to do so, considering how bad the local water tastes to those who are not accustomed to drinking it.

The apartment was with 3 good size bedrooms with wonderful paintings on the walls. The bathroom was clean. The location is 20 min walk distance from Ortigia. Anna was very good host and advised us where to eat as locals nicely cooked Italian food .

The area has different type of residents, there old buildings that looks not well kept and this could make you think that is unsafe to walk in the night, it is not true. Area is calm and silent.

The property was very close to a bakery and cafe and all attractions were walkable. Spacious and clean with a washing machine and secure large bedroom with air conditioning

No actual car park but they put a car on the street and moved it so we could park otherwise parking would have been difficult they required us to pay cash and were unable to work out any other form of payment which I feel should be made clear

Ideal good value apartment for a family about 15 mins walk into Ortegia. Two large double rooms and another with two single beds that would suit young children well. Good sized kitchen with balcony for communal meals. Efficient hosting.

Some may prefer being closer to island or something a little more modern but will likely have to pay a fair bit more and/or find limited availability in high season.

It was very convenient. The bedrooms were a good size. The balcony with laundry facilities was very useful. The a/c was great

The only communal rom was a small kitchen with a large table, so it wasn't very convenient to spend time together

The apartment is in a quiet location, clean, big and cosy, about 20 minutes walking distance from Ortigia island. We would recommend the place for groups of 4-6 people. The host has taken care of having coffee pods and a coffee machine. There are free parking places in front of the building and a cafe nearby.

Second bathroom would be a benefit, but it was not a problem for our group of 5.

We were there only one night but everything was as on the description. Our flight was redirected and we were there late but the owners were were super nice and it didn't brother them. Very nice.
