The property was fully renovated and at a very convenient location. The room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was decent, and left in separate plates for each room, but was actually self service.

We were met upon arrival by the cleaning lady who gave us our keys. We didn't meet the owner until the day we left and that was by chance, so we left her the keys. Also, there was nobody during breakfast in case we needed something, i.e. it took us some time to get the espresso machine to work. We would have liked more interaction with the owner as it would have been more hospitable. I assume a reason is that she doesn't speak English.

Nicely renovated older house in one of the narrow streets. The streets are very quiet and you can park your car comfortably. Every morning the owner prepares a small breakfast for each room separately. The owner is pleasant and smiling and everything went without a problem.

When checking in you have to write the exact time of arrival, the owner was not there but arrived exactly as agreed. She only spoke Italian but we agreed on everything important via Google translator. Overall I rate the conversation with the owner and the accommodation very positively.

Great clean and modern accommodation, wonderful terrace for morning breakfast, good location close to the old town. I have to thank my host and her mother very much, because she helped us a lot with solving our problem with rented car. It is not a matter of course that the host will devote a few hours of his time to solve your problems. Very nice and friendly people. We fell in love with Sicily. We will be back.

- The room was very nicely furnished and very clean. The terrace is a nice addition. - We had a lot of options about the kind of pastries we could have in the morning, it was very much appreciated. - The host gave us a lot of information about the city and nice recommandation of restaurants.

- The stairs can be quite challenging as they are very steep and narrow, it can be difficult to use them with big luggages.

Beautiful rooms, very clean. Overall place was really nice. Everything was working. Cleaning everyday. Not that far from Ortigia, 20-25min walking. Good communication despite host doesn’t speak english

Owners don’t speak English but with a little help of google translator that was not a problem. There is no private parking however we had no problem to find a parking spot on the street right next to the apartment

The price / performance is right. The B&B is well located, parking is around the house and a good spot for snorkeling is 5min away. The hostess was friendly and the room is well and efficiently furnished.

Ortiga is unfortunately a little further away than expected (15 min to the town entrance) and we would probably look for a closer B&B next time. The breakfast was a bit sparse and the room could have been cleaned better. It had plenty of sand from our predecessors on the floor.

The owner/manager went out of her way to welcome us, tell us nearby highlights and providing excellent breakfasts. Even though we couldn't speak Italian and she couldn't speak English, she used an app on her phone to speak to us and answer our questions.

We had trouble finding the place, maybe because it was on a small street. Also, we got an email to call if we were coming earlier but we couldn't get through to anyone.

Beware the featured terrace is off one room only….the loft room, it is not communal. however there are other benefits. Good breakfast and kitchen facilities. Free milk, butter and snacks on top of breakfast including fresh pastries, coffee, etc. Lively modern well fitted bedrooms and bathrooms. close to the St Lucia Church and square. 20-25 minute walk to Ortiga.

Terrace is not a shared facility as shown in Booking.com.

Nice, clean, quiet, I love it. The third time I am staying here, close to where I attended a seminar - and close to Otigia.

Loved this place! The building was on a quiet street, with lots of free roadside parking around. The shared kitchen area was really nice, with a well equipped kitchen and amazing breakfast. The room itself was really pleasant, it was bright, and spacious. The bathroom was modern with an amazing shower. The best part was the private roof terrace with furniture. The kitchen in the room itself was also good, with a fridge and hob to cook on if required. Highly recommend this place!

It is a fair walk from the old town - probably 20 minutes, but this is fine and a safe route.
