Location, location! On the large piazza across.from the church snd sepulchre of the patron of the city, Santa Lucia. Definitely worth a visit to see the Carravggio painting and the 'sweating' marble statue! The tasty breakfast in the friendly Agora cafe (check-in for room at the back). Great choice of delicious pastries. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Leaving my backpack fir a few hours the next morning do I could explore the archaeological park was not a problem at all. My very funky room 9 was on 2 storeys with a spiral stair up to the bedroom. You do need to be fit and agile though.. And short legged - sitting on the toilet is a tight fit.

Bathroom on the bottom floor...night visit down the staircase was tricky. But definitely wouldn't stop me from returning another visit!

Very nice service, clean and spacious apartment. There is a large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, on the entresol there is a second bathroom with a bathtub and washing machine. for breakfast you go to a cafe, you can choose a savory or sweet version, everything is fresh and tasty.

A table by the couch would be useful so that you could comfortably drink coffee or put some snacks there. A decorative furniture that stands in the middle of the room is very impractical, it only takes up space and you can bump into it at night on your way to the toilet. A coat rack on the wall by the entrance would also be useful.

Overall a very good stay. I loved the beds, the room was very spacious, and I loved the breakfast provided by the attached shop. It was exactly what I needed to get my bearings before continuing on my journey.

The wifi didn't work in the room, and the room showed a bit of wear and tear. The AC didn't appear to have a remote, and some trimmings around the room were coming off. These weren't dealbreakers for me, but it was notable. Also, the room is up several steep flights of stairs - again, not a dealbreaker for me, but know that these are not elevator accessible.

The location, the cleanliness, the staff, easy access to the town center. Amazing breakfast included at the B&B bar including local specialities like arancini and Sicilian pastries. The room I stayed in for most of my trip was spotless and not on the main road, therefore quiet without external noises.

I had to move to another room in a different building for the last night due to an error in their booking system. The room was loud as it was facing the main road (on top of the B&B bar), probably the walls weren't thick enough either so I wouldn't recommend those rooms if you want to rest and are sensitive to external noises.

The hotel is located close to the center without all direct tourist traps. The room overlooked a nice square with a market. As we traveled by bike, the owner was kind enough to provide a locked storage solution which was great. The breakfast is served in the bar and this is just really lovely to "integrate" into Siracusa. The room was sufficiently spacious for us.

It did not bother us at all, I actually liked it, but the bar downstairs and the people in front could be heard from the room.

The people were wonderful. We had a rough trip there with canceled trains and buses that missed connections. We arrived very late. They had sent us all of the directions for a late check-in through Booking.com, but they didn't come through to me until the following day. We had to call the owners who were very understanding and explained how to get the keys to a very tired and frustrated customer. They were professional and patient. The room was clean and easy to get to. There was a small fridge and enough outlets. They had a notebook with all the information needed about the facility in both Italian and English. Breakfast was provided by their café downstairs. We could choose any sweet or savory offered in the display case and choose a drink hot or cold. It was the best breakfast of all of our 5 week trip.

The description of the room's facilities was not as accurate. It said there was a desk, bathrobes and a washing machine. This was not accurate. I can do without the bathrobe and the desk, but I was looking forward to the washing machine. Their very detailed information book said a washing machine was available to use. When we asked, it was not available. An update of those details online would have been helpful.

Our room was clean, the bed was huge. The staff was friendly. The breakfast you can take from the bar is delicious. We also met the talking parrot. :)

The noisy wood floor. We had a very active up neighbour, and we could hear his/her every move at night. It was a bit annoying.

The breakfast was superb ! surprisingly good cappuccino and a wide variety of pastries or savory choices ! Walkable distance from train, bus station and Ortygia (20min).

The room has 2 floors, bedroom up and toilet downstairs. The toilet is quite narrow and so are the stairs. All this was ok for me (1,70 normal sized ) but bigger or older people may face considerable difficulty.

The room was very clean and big, very good placement, close to the centre of Syracuse. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was especially good

The walls were thin but at least it wasn't noisy in the middle of the night. The window in the bathroom was broken and the bedroom window didn't have blinds

Location and easy free parking downstairs, comfy bed, fridge in the bedroom, possibility to have a very early sweet breakfast and to check in early as well.

Poor WiFi in our bedroom, being just under the stairs every time some guests were going up or down it was noisy.
