Unpretentious, basic Hotel in an interesting location. It's situated at the fisher's port right opposite the island of Ortigia. The port looks a little messy with the rather huge area filled with cars and boats but seems to be quite safe. We could park our car right in front of the hotel free of charge, which is a big plus in a town where parking can easily set you back 20 € or more. Checked in the car several times but it was undamaged. Obviously the place is too busy for all kind of crooks 😏There are a couple of restaurants and a food truck which we didn't try. Walking to Ortigia is about 15-20 minutes depending where one wants to go. Extremely kind staff. Breakfast was the hotel itself: Basic but of decent quality. Very good value for money as you can pay double or more for a room in the old city just a few hundred metres away. Rooms are spacious and rather quiet.

Bathroom a bit smelly and not spotlessly clean but ok for a stay of a few days.

We loved the spaciousness of the room and the amazing terrace. The amenities were excellent—especially the small bottles of shampoo and soap, which we used up entirely! The room was very clean, and the housekeeping service was much appreciated. Breakfast was very good, with high-quality products, and the ladies serving breakfast (good coffee, well done) and at the reception were extremely kind.

The only real downside was parking, though this is not the hotel’s fault. There is an illegal parking attendant (franelero - “parcheggiatore abusivo”) in front of the hotel who demands €2 each time you try to park, especially in the night, and refusing to pay him could result in your car being scratched or otherwise damaged. Police and institutions shall do something about this.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location for access to Ortigia and for walking to other main historical sites. The hotel decor is stylish and the rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. The cleaning staff were able to fit cleaning the room around the times we returned for a break.

The breakfast was quite good but would have been better with a greater range of fresh fruit, which is plentiful in this region. The bedrooms overlook a courtyard where people can eat and drink outside, which can be a little noisy. The adjacent car park can also be a little noisy but only until about 11.00 pm. These are minor problems when considered against the advantages of this hotel and the overall value for money.

I recently stayed at here with a group of 8 friends, and we had an incredible time. The beds and pillows were comfortable, clean, which made for a restful stay. We had safe in our rooms, and any repairs that were required were handled promptly on the same day. The receptionist was exceptionally sweet, and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Breakfast was always fresh, featuring delicious options and proper espresso coffee. We loved the lovely lounge bar that offered an amazing view of the marina. Watching the boats come and go was a highlight of our stay. Although we didn’t dine at the hotel restaurant as we had other reservations, the dishes we saw looked absolutely mouth-watering. The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to Ortigia, and there are plenty of boat trips nearby. We had such a great experience that we will definitely be revisiting in the future!

The staff and welcome to the hotel was amazing, we were a bit early but we were OK to come back. They were very accommodating and extremely friendly. We were there for 2 nights and we couldn't fault anything, the terrace bar and restaurant was perfect location for evening drinks and the food was simply superb, and the view was wondeful overlooking ortigia. Breakfast had a good selection and very tasty. Every member of staff was so extremely friendly and were attentive and great with recommendations for food, drinks and the local area. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything you could need. Would highly recommend the beautiful hotel and would definitely stay again

I loved the location at the harbour, with its view at the sea and Ortiga. There is a comfortable large parking in front of the hotel, the building is interesting, the rooms are large and clean and comfortable. The bathroom was properly equipped and impeccably clean. Every person in the hotel was very kind and helpful, thank you for your suggestions about the restaurant Francesco - it was almost an adventure :-) I liked the breakfast room and the breakfast as well.

The window made of ground glass that did not open in my room - I love to look outside even if the view is unpleasant. There was a noise from the street, somewhat irritating at night. During the day it was almost quiet.

I booked this place for the last night of my holidays. My priority was being able to reach the beach easily for a morning swim before I go to the airport. The hotel has a charming view of the sea. It was beautiful and really relaxing to have a good swim after the breakfast. The staff was really kind to answer my questions and always make sure to ask how they can make my stay more pleasant. My room was quite large, decorated with nice vintage furniture and had it’s own rooftop terrace.

Only one thing was confusing: airport shuttle. It is listed among the facilities here. However when I asked about the airport shuttle, I got explained how to go to the bus station by myself and take the airport bus.

The hotel was situated beside a large area of free parking - a real bonus in Syracuse. There was even a small beach 50 metres away. It was only a ten minute walk to the bridge connecting Ortigia which is the main centre of interest. A continental breakfast was provided in the hotel's cafe. There was a very good and popular pizza restaurant next door. The hotel staff were extremely helpful sorting out a tyre repair shop when we arrived with a puncture. As non-Italian speakers this saved a huge amount of time and stress.

The room was a little basic and dark. An upstairs room might have been better.

Nice display of the facility, cozy and spacy rooms, with upper terrace - a good place to rest, socialize, watch sunrise.

Incredible stay. Beautiful views from the rooftop bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Antonio who manages the property is extremely helpful and enthusiastic. His favourite saying is ‘if you have problems, I have solutions’. From organising my dry cleaning to transport to chit chat he has been a great host. The real gem is Kleeia (or Kleja) who is by far my most favourite host is a lovely and friendly person who is so welcoming and makes you feel at host. I miss these two already!
