Amazing location. Nice linen. Comfortable beds.

The two superior rooms with a view we booked were of very different quality. One with the view blocked. After making a room change on day 2, one staff member forgot to inform the other - with unfortunate consequences (privacy invaded).

Well run, clean, simple accommodation that is excellent value and in a superb location. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Parking for the drop off and when leaving was easy as you can park immediately outside for fifteen minutes. To access it: - ignore your sat nav and drive down the pedestrianised Via Roma (Max Mara is on the corner) - turn left into Via del Teatro - take the first right into the piazza and it's on the corner. Whistling the theme tune from The Italian Job is not compulsory, but it helps. We parked for free on the white lines around Riva Della Posta which took me about ten minutes to walk to.

I would have appreciated some brown bread for breakfast, but I could say the same thing about other Italian places that cost me more than double. The shower was of the sit in the bath variety, but as the bath was the size of a swimming pool it didn't matter.

The location is absolutely amazing – right in Ortigia, just steps away from the center, with a stunning view. The sunrise is truly spectacular. The breakfast was unexpectedly good, and the staff were very helpful, even arranging the ZTL permit so we could park in the building’s underground garage (€20/day). The room had exterior shutters, which was great for blocking both light and noise in the morning. However, if you like to sleep in, I would recommend avoiding the 4th-floor rooms – breakfast service starts around 7:45 and it can get quite noisy. Overall, it’s a good accommodation at a fair price, with a fantastic location that’s hard to beat.

The bathroom felt a bit old and we noticed some small bugs, and personally I would have preferred two pillows each, but that’s just a minor preference.

We liked the location of accommodation, and the size and cleanliness of the property

No drinking glasses, no kettle...electric or otherwise in the kitchen. No photo of balcony in original write-up. If there had been , I probably wouldn't have booked it. .we looked out on "inner courtyard" with. view on opposite balcony of old Christmas trees, paint pots etc It was handy for hanging out towels etc, and as property so well positioned , it wasn't the end of the world, but as there apparently wasn't even any communal outside space, a little disappointing.

The location is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is not fancy but very clean and the air conditioner worked well. The room was large and bright and clean. The shower worked well with plenty of hot water . There was a continental breakfast available for a reasonable price and we did not need to book ahead for breakfast . Our room was quiet and comfortable.

The WIFI did not work well with our lap top we needed help from the staff. The WIFI did work with our phones . We enjoyed our stay.

The balcony was wonderful. You can look over the sea and enjoy the sunset. The location is excellent as well. Very close to the Duomo and the Fountain of Diana. The rooms were clean and very well kept. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee and freshly baked bread. It was the best accommodation I had booked so far in Sicily. Good value for money.

Nothing negative to say. May be a bit far from the siracusa bus station but the walk is pleasant and easy passing through safe and pretty streets of Syracusa. It's worth staying nestled in the historical part of town.

The rooms were very nice and spacious, and the bathroom was big too. We had a balcony with a lovely view on the little piazza and a church. The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Bianka...The location is fantastic! It was a very good deal we got for the money we payed.

We had some issues with the cleaning service, but that was resolved after we intervened. The bathroom needs an update, and the breakfast was a bit dull- we've been there for 8 days and every day was the same... But, all in all, we are satisfied with this B&B and would recommend it!

We stayed in room 11. We had balcony from which yes you see neighbours apartment, but who cares and also if you chose Ortigia which is old city you can expect buildings to be close. Anyway it was so hot in September that you couldn’t seat outside. The room had air condition, nice big bathroom and fridge. Breakfast was good, lady was putting the food in trays when it went missing so you couldn’t be hungry. Everything was good from reception, check in check out. There is a bar in the same building with good atmosphere.

It is tricky to come with car to the hotel because of the narrow streets. But it’s part of the adventure 😊

The hosts were very kind. However, the parking instructions were unclear, and we ended up receiving a parking ticket while unloading our luggage in front of the building for just five minutes. Fortunately, the hotel graciously covered the fine. The location is excellent, especially if you enjoy walking to nearby restaurants. Note that you’ll need to park in a public garage about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The included breakfast was very nice, with a good variety for a great start to the day. Our room had a lovely view of an old church in a plaza, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was comfortable, but there wasn’t much space to unpack our luggage. Additionally, water from the shower area would spill into the rest of the bathroom and remain on the floor. The bathroom lacked proper ventilation, with no effective venting system and no window.
