This beautiful B+B sums up all I love about Sicily… a warm welcome from charming Ignazio who told us the house has been in the same family for generations, and is decorated with many Sicilian antiques and artefacts. Lovely balconies festooned with geraniums where we had excellent breakfasts. Comfortable, quiet and very central, round the corner from the Duomo.All the staff were wonderful. We will return !

What a brilliant little hotel. It would be hard to get closer to the centre of Siracusa than this fashionable place. The members of the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful in every way. The breakfast served was also excellent.

Parking in the Ortygia section of Siracusa is a real problem and there is no parking close to the hotel. We were fortunate enough to find one (which we would NEVER have found had it not been for a local) for 20 E / night and only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel: Autorimessa di G. La Mesa, Via Dei Mergulensi, 14, 96100 Siracusa. (It is small, and you may be shocked to see cars parked at 45 degree angles to the ground, but the staff are very accommodating.)

Breakfast was fine but not many options, staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The building and room were perfect for the very hot weather we experienced as it is round a shady courtyard. Very quiet considering we were right in the middle of Ortygia next to the Duomo and other attractions.

More choice at breakfast, for example more fruit and cereal. Also a lack of black teabags and milk but plenty of fruit teas.

Location was ideal, many food choices just steps away. Quiet at night, staff were friendly, plenty of breakfast items including excellent croissants! Ortigia is beautiful and well worth a visit, extremely walkable and scenic. Parking would be challenging but not an issue for us as we came via train. Clean and nice terrace to eat or hang out. Wifi worked well.

We were recommended to not drink the tap water but bottled water was not provided. Bed was just ok comfort wise, pillows were not comfortable.

Great location in the heart of Ortegia, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, good value considering location. We would recommend this B&B as a place to stay if traveling as a group as we were.

A couple of flights of stairs which could be a problem for people with mobility issues. They were not an issue for us. Otherwise great place to stay in Siracusa.

Perfect location, very central and pretty accommodation. Staff was very nice too. Also comes with a breakfast with a few options other than just pastries, which is not that easy to find. Good value for money for one night! The staff also allows guest to use a small fridge in the common area, which is very handy.

The authenticity of the real sicilian house, the vibe of the small atelier downstairs and the best spot on the prettiest street in town, although it was quiet at night, totally worth it, also great breakfast

There could be more space for putting our things

It was in a beautiful old palace furnished as it had been when the noble family lived there. We met the owner and he told us the story of Casa D’alleri and his wife’s family. It was situated in the very centre of Ortigia

Great location right in the old town. Staff were helpful on arrival. Breakfast was nice.

Parking was an expensive issue. We were recommended a private parking area which was close by the hotel but €25 a day. Didn’t need the car for the 2 nights we were there.

Staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Delicious continental breakfast served each morning. Lovely large room with balcony onto pedestrian side street. A perfect location for exploring Ortigia and easy walking distance into Siracusa.
