Thank you Alessia and Martina. The team were attdntive, easy to contact and helpful. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. Everything was wonderful. The air conditioning was fabulous, as we had a summer stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The accommodation is in the heart of the old town, easy walking from everywhere. We loved it and highly recommend MAeCO as a high end property that’s reasonably priced. Soo lucky we found this.

Great breakfast beautiful room next to the Duomo parking arrangements a breeze. Don’t hesitate to book it.

We had one night at Maeco. We were welcomed very pleasantly, the room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, everywhere was super clean. The breakfast in the morning was rich and with interesting local products, and they made us fresh omelettes.I asked for coffee before breakfast and they made it for me. The building is extremely interesting, the architecture is impressive. The interior of the premises is very interesting and pleasant. The location is wonderful - in the very center of Ortigia. The hostess recommended places for lunch and dinner. We ate there and were charmed. I recommend Maeco, a truly awesome place! We are very satisfied, we will come again!

My fiance and I stayed here for four nights on our first trip to Sicily, and it was just fantastic. The staff was helpful in providing tips, answering questions, and recommendations on where to eat (A Putia was great!). The room was clean with a nice balcony and view, and the breakfast was very nice. Maeco Ortigia was very central and was just steps away from the main piazza. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! Special thanks to Martina for always being so helpful and answering our endless questions.

Amazing location just off the Duomo square. Super clean with stylish, minimalist decor- making it feel spacious with an inviting vibe. Breakfast was fresh and adequate (exercised restraint to enjoy the Artale patisserie half a block down the street). Comfy bed and a good shower. Staff were really sweet. Would definitely stay again and recommend the Maeco Ortigia B&B to friends. Loved Ortigia. The suggested “valet” parking was a tremendous help.

All very minor stuff. Be forewarned: there are two flights of stairs to get to reception. Weekdays the local establishments may bring take their glass bottle recycles out into the alley at 7am. Silly, but the key for the safe and the light are on the same ring and cannot be separated- it was a challenge to grab things from the safe in the dark!

We had a great time in Ortigia. Special thanks to Alessia who gave us a lot of good recommendations and actually didn't have to. We really appreciate it. All the staff in the hotel is super nice and kind. The location is very central, very close to the Piazza Duomo in Ortigia. For the breakfast they serve a variety of food: eggs, sandwiches, fruits, sweet cakes, muesli, olives, etc. Our room was clean and we had all we needed: towels, hairdryer, AC, water.

All was fine.

Right next to the church and plaza area, very beautiful neighborhood with a lot of great restaurants. Front desk staff and the owner were very attentive and nice, prepared very nice breakfast and recommended very good restaurants. Bathroom was very spacious and beautiful, only the water had some smells… not sure if it’s the island thing or else. I used drinking water to wash my mouth after using the sink water… breakfast was really good and drinking water in fridge provided by the hotel was really nice.

Location is incredible, right by the Duomo piazza. The B&B is very new and very well maintained. It is lovely. Breakfast was great. The staff were wonderful. They even had a locked room on the main floor where we could store our bicycles (we were on a cycling holiday). Highly recommended.

The room was small and we had to leave the windows open as the AC was not operational due to the time of year and the room got stuffy and so we got many mosquito bites.

Martina was probably the best part about the place. She was willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions, or book anything that you needed. Her service was like having a very talented concierge at a 5-star hotel. Also, the collective breakfast table and nice selection of food was very nice.

All of the rooms are great, but our room was maybe just a tad small for two people staying for four days. We would stay at Maeco again, but we would ask for one of the other rooms.

Sometimes you come across a gem that you want to keep just for yourself. Maecò Ortigia B&B is an example of this. Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff and excellent rooms with a good range of breakfast choices.
