Very nice facility, several beautiful common sitting areas. The sauna and aroma-therapy room were really nice and relaxing after a long day on our feet. The honor bar was unexpected and really convenient with very reasonable prices. Room was large with seating and comfortable bed. The view from our room was really nice and included view of the mountains. Location was awesome, just around corner from the bus stop. Complimentary tickets for free rides on bus system running throughout the S Tryol region were unexpected and really appreciated. Staff were very polite, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast had a lot of options - well worth the cost. Katja was very helpful in locating items we left after checkout and assisting in options for return to us.

Really wish the sauna had longer hours of operation running later into the evening. Closing at 8 PM requires cutting hiking and activities a little short in order to take advantage of it.

This B&B was a gorgeous 700 year old classic old home made into a B&B! Everything about this place was outstanding. Katerina checked us in in their other hotel down the street. Which that locations was just as beautiful! She was wonderful and absolute charm to talk to! She told us everything and more to go and see. The hostess at breakfast were just as accommodating and helping us with our next hike! Breakfast perfect with plenty to choose from. It was an honesty bar where you pay what you drink and then pay when you leave. It had everything from liquor to classic wines from that region. Our room was huge with a 4 post bed and the bathroom had a 2 person bathtub! The buses where right outside our building to travel to Bolzano or any hiking place nearby. It has a quiet room downstairs that had a sauna, shower and quiet space just to relax WOW! It also had a quiet study to play checkers or chess or just read a book. I could go on and on but the best part was we woke up to see the Dolmites right from our balcony every morning! What a beautiful site to see! Highly recommended. Hope to be back next year!

Amazing, storybook property! Epic location, amazing staff, quite lovely property. This property is partnered with the Hotel Villa Kastleruth. Both properties are amazing. The hotel is contemporary and luxurious, this property is decorated in more traditional form and very quiet and why we chose this location. The lobby, sitting area and honesty bar were quiet and welcomed after a long hike. The staff -hotel and B&B- were very helpful and informative. Easy access to the lift and adjacent hiking routes. Breakfast -provided- was robust and plentiful. Finally, very accommodating for an early check in and parking was easy, close and included. We shall return and we will stay here! NOTE: pay close attention to the rooms. We booked 2 as we are a 3 person family. The single is quite small but perfect for our 20 yr old son. The double was very large and perfect for my wife and I.

Very clean room in old hotel located right in center of town/village that seems to have been recently renovated. Very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and great view of Dolomites from breakfast room. Staff I interacted with were all very friendly, and they even gave out a free bottle of water when I checked out.

I arrived by car later at night, and it wasn't at all clear initially where to park, especially because the hotel is located in the center of the town, which is basically a pedestrian zone. When I finally got to the hotel on foot, there was a sign to check in at another hotel. That hotel turned out to be only a few minutes walk away and had lots of parking available, and I had no issues once I got there and checked in. I think the arrangement works fine overall but it would good if the hotel could proactively let guests know in advance (by sending a booking.com message?) what the check-in procedure is/where to park car. Other than that, stay was great.

Good location right in central Castelrotto under the bell tower. Convenient to restaurants (limited though quite good options BUT plenty for our 3 day stay) and shuttles (right behind hotel) to Alpe di Suisi for hiking (<10 min ride on shuttle). Much smaller, more quaint town than Bolzano but much more convenient if you plan to hike. Very glad we went further into the mtns. Breakfast was good and had plenty of nice options. For all tastes. Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful.

No AC which is common and not a huge problem as it’s up the mtns. However it was quite hot in July so missed it. Check-in is at a sister hotel down the road and no one premises which was slightly inconvenient but manageable.

This hotel is so beautiful and quaint, it was literally like a dream and a big reason my boyfriend and I just fell in love with Castelrotto. Delicious, good variety included breakfast.

Having the management in a different hotel )only a few blocks away) was a bit of a hassle- Also it seems like there is an issue with running through booking.com. We thought breakfast was included but no. Sounded like it was a common misunderstanding.

It was a lovely location and we especially liked the decor, with many items from years past as this hotel has so much history! It has been updated with so many amenities, but the decorative items were appreciated to remember the many years this hotel has been in existence. The breakfast was delicious!

The person who checked us in was very friendly, but not knowledgeable about the gondolas and going up the mountain peaks. She said we needed an entire day to go up and see everything. Maybe she thought we wanted to hike for hours. We met a couple at breakfast the next morning who had already gone on the gondola and let us know it was a 10 min. bus ride right up the street to get to the base of the mountain and ride the gondola! It was breath taking and we went along some trails and took many pictures. The entire outing was three hours. To think that we almost missed that!! We were so thankful to meet the couple who was knowledgeable of the area!

The hotel was built in 1326 & had so much character. The location is directly in the centre of the small town. The room & hotel was very clean. Loved the various seating areas & breakfast room. Breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed the fresh baked pastries & bread along with the meats & cheeses and cereal bar, fresh fruit. A great way to start your day..we were happy they had a laundry facility as we’d been travelling for a while. You get a free bus pass that was handy & the main bus station is close by. You could just walk out the door & start hiking the numerous Alpine trails which we loved or take a bus to one of the many sites & moutons ranges in the Dolomites.

It was very hot when we stayed & there is no air conditioning nor a fan available.

Beautiful and tasteful, traditional Alpine decor. An intriguing collection of paintings. So very comfortable and centrally located by the bell tower. Great breakfast and accommodating hostesses in traditional Alpine dress. It is like going back in time, with all the comforts of the 21st century.
