Wonderful location, fantastic catering at the restaurant and insane views from their panorama bar, attentive and friendly staff. The beach was amazing and it’s literally two steps from the building. Honestly this is as good as it gets price-value wise. Humble but functional rooms that are cleaned every single day - I was surprised to read other people’s reviews. For this price point at this location, this is an exceptional place.

For us it was all good.

The staff is amazing, helped us with everything, it's really nice to sleep next to the restaurant. And the best part is of course the beach, literally 50 seconds walk from the water, it's way better than sleeping in the town that is up the hill. The room was simple but spacious with a little patio outside.

The facilities in the room were basic, there were no chairs in the room(only in the patio) and no fridge(the staff saved things for us in the restaurant's). Only curtains, couldn't black out the room.

Loved everything about this property. I would love to return and stay again. Great location on the beach.

The location is excellent. It is located directly behind a fantastic beach club called Sun Beach Club Tropea. This beach club has a fantastic restaraunt and pizzeria with awesome staff. There are also umbrellas and chairs available for rent. The AC in the room worked well.

The room itself was disappointing. The double bed was just two single mattresses side by side. The bathroom was tiny with only a shower curtain to isolate the shower. There were ants living in the walls and we saw them frequently by our front door. The parking lot is tiny and often over crowded. The staff do not control the parking sufficiently to ensure all vehicles can fit. There was often a car parked behind ours, and it was always difficult to puzzle our vehicle into the lot, taking up time and risking damage to the vehicle.

The location

First things first, you cannot find the hotel under the name ‘’beach rooms Tropea’’ on google maps, you need to call the hotel multiple times to finally indicate where it is! Then, you find out it is just rooms within a beach club … odd … Of course, i don’t speak italian which still make the staff talk to me in italian with zero effort to communicate. Now to the rooms, the least i can say is that there are NO équipements whatsoever so it probably deserves zero stars! The door is not a real door but a kind of steel and glass that you still need to cover with a curtain…. The bed is probably 60 years old, the floor is dirty so please don’t walk barefoot! The ‘’bathroom’’ is not only tiny but very dirty! I don’t understand the price compared to the room state. The profits of a single room in one summer are enough to renovate all of the rooms together… will be back to Tropea but not to this hotel!
