Ocean view was exceptional, breakfast was good. Lots of stairs to go the beach over 100, and then after a beach day you need to climb back up. Lets face it Tropea is in the mountains therefore you need to accept the stairs . Great location next time with this big heat wave a hotel with a pool would have been grate

The place needs renovations, therefore the price versus the renovation should be less, The staff however is extremely helpful, the all deserve a 10/10, They went out of their way to accommodate , If you need to book an excursion do it with them directly . We left the hotel at 6;30 and they had breakfast ready. WE needed a cab to the train station they took care of calling for us, there is nothing that they did not do for us to have a great vacation. Very different from a big chain, they really know what it means customer first WOOWWW

The views of the sea were incredible - especially during sunset! Staff was friendly and our room was very clean.

The room and bathroom is quite dated - mold in bathroom shower and had issues with shower door. Staff were very attentive and had someone fix the issue the following day. We would have also appreciated a bit more space as we had three pieces of luggage. In addition, the fruit at breakfast wasn't always fresh and lacked variety. Finally, we would have appreciated a bit more information at check in re: beaches to go to, recommended restaurants, etc. We are experienced travelers, however we always appreciate advice from the locals.

The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants. From the breakfast area beautiful views over the water whilst eating a homemade breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them.

The description said room with a view but unfortunately, you had to leave the room and go out on a shared balcony to see the view, it was not from the room that did not have any windows, just the door to the shared balcony.

The roof terrace is amazing and gives you the perfect sunset view. Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of options. The staff were all very friendly. It was a really good location to walk to restaurants and the beaches.

Shower could sometimes be temperamental with regards to the power of it and the heat. Not the comfiest bed ever. But every other aspect of staying there was so perfect that these things felt minor.

The location was within walking distance to most attractions. The breakfast was 5 star rating. Alot of homemade food including specialities of the location and a variety of choices between savoury, sweet and fruit. The ladies of the staff were always ready to help and very kind. The view was also fantastic and the bar on the terrace in the afternoon a great touch for an aperitif with a view prior to heading to dinner.

One minor thing the bed. We thought room was going to have 3 single beds but wasn't the case. The positive though outweighed this 1 negative.

Tropea Boutique Hotel was in a great location to the beach and historical district. The room was comfortable, breakfast excellent, and Nicoletta was most helpful. The other staff who organised breakfast and looked after the Reception were also very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in Tropea. It was a great place to unwind and relax after 3.5 weeks moving around Italy. We would recommend this hotel if staying in Tropea.

My room was the only one in the hotel that faced the sea directly. Through a very large window, I had an unobstructed view of the beautiful sea and a church below. The view was so breathtakingly beautiful that I had to keep looking outside and could hardly concentrate on other things. On very clear days you could see Stromboli on the horizon and the sunsets were nothing short of spectacular every night of my 2 week stay! The swallows nested right under the roof tiles above my window and with the windows open you almost had to worry that they would fly into the room - but this never happened. The bed was a bit hard but okay - I could see the sea directly from the bed. The bright bathroom is small but has everything you need and also a window to look out. The breakfast was sensational! There were at least 4 types of cake, then mozzarella and tomatoes with Tropean onions, warm appetizers such as baked eggplant slices or zucchini with ham and cheese gratin, pancakes with ham, spinach puff pastry ect. Bread rolls, fantastic croissants, jam and cold cuts, as well as constantly changing fruit enriched the breakfast buffet. However, the most sensational was the place where you could have breakfast, namely outside on the large terrace with probably the most beautiful view over the sea and part of the small town. In the morning and evening light, there was nothing better than starting the day there or ending it with a cool white wine! The staff was extremely friendly and always up for a chat and extremely helpful. I would travel to these beautiful spots again at any time and can really recommend the accommodation unreservedly.

Wonderful room, with access to the terrace with ocean view. Excellent staff, very accommodating and super hospitality. I really enjoyed talking with Mimma and Nicoletta they were always very pleasant and went out of their way to help in every way. The lady responsible for preparing colazione is fantastic. The breakfast meal and home cooked selections on the buffet table are always exceptionally good and tasty. Plenty of everything, fresh fruit and cheese included.

The night shift begins a little early to set up the breakfast table, and the noise at 4:00am can wake you up. But besides, the night staff are wonderful and helpful in all ways.

The breakfasts are the best - baked tortas, pies & other sweets, some sliced meats & cheese, egg dishes, breakfast casseroles, fruits, cereals, yogurt, and juices. They really offer a lovely spread. The personnel are so nice & helpful- very accomodating. We left feeling like family. The upstairs terrace is huge with a spectacular view. The lower terrace is shared but is also large and has a very nice view. There is usually free parking nearby and you can pull up in front to drop your bags. The location is a very short walk to everything!

As in most historic buildings in Italy, there are a few sets of stairs depending on your room's floor- no lift but they helped us with our bags.
