This is a wonderful hotel for visiting Tropea. The staff were delightful and the room provided amazing views of the sea and the volcanic island Stromboli. The hotel in easy walking distance to the historic center. Breakfast was delicious and served inside or outside with extraordinary views. Parking on the street near the front door was free and easy during our visit in April.

Tropea sits on a steep hill above the beach, and many steps down and up are inevitable for everyone staying in any hotel in Tropea. If you are primarily interested in the beach, you may want to consider a hotel or resort on the outskirts of the city.

The views were fantastic. It overlooked the ocean. The staff were very courteous as well. The location was also pretty good in that inside a 7 minute walk you could be into the heart of the town.

The rooms were tiny. The bedroom and bathroom were both small. Though the views were terrific, getting to the beach would require you to be a mountain climber as there is a ton of stairs to go down and worse to get back up. We chose to take the car instead. There is also no pool to speak of. The water hole is just that and not heated ever.

One of the best places we have ever stayed! The staff and owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming and helpful. The location is incredible, stunning views and an easy walk into the centre of Tropea. They gave us an incredible room for our honeymoon because they were able to, and we appreciated it immensely! We loved the mini pool and cocktails at sunset! Beautiful place, lovely humans, good wine, we will definitely be back!

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Parking right out front of the hotel. Room had a sea view that was spectacular. 10 minute walk to dinner.

For walking access to the beach it is necessary to take steep stairs. More than a few. My wife and I are older so we couldn't use them. We would have to drive our car down to the public parking spot to access the beach.

Massimo, Georgia, Pavel and the rest of the staff were exceptional. They attended to all our needs with fast and effective service. The view was spectacular! Pavel makes the best cocktails! I highly recommend Rocca Della Senna! We will definitely return one day. A special thank you to Georgia for her kindness and support.

We loved everything about this Hotel.

What a great find. We love this beautiful hotel, with it’s relaxed vibe. The views are spectacular. At night you can see Jupiter and Mars. The terrace is a great place to chill and just look at the view. You can walk to the beach and back up the steps again. Breakfast has everything you need and more. Coffee is brought to your table and there is a great selection of quality food. The staff are exceptional. Rooms are lovely, very comfortable. An easy walk to town. Sad to leave.

View from the hotel and room -directly over the sea, it is possible to see the Stromboli from afar. I saw the sunset almost over the sea, but closer to summer the sunset occurs directly over the sea, and even over Stromboli in August. Buffet-style breakfast, but the guest chooses and they bring whatever is requested: they have prosecco, cheeses, ricotta, breads, yogurt, croissant, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, etc. For all tastes, savory or sweet Italian . Staff: attentive, helpful, friendly. They are to be congratulated and I thank everyone. Every night I would ask for a chamomile tea to sleep and they would prepare it with all hospitality. Consierge: book tours and taxi to train station or port. Anyway, perfect.

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff were all so welcoming from the beginning and provided us with extra assistance in catching our ferry to Sicily after we left. We enjoyed drinks by the pool and a lovely restaurant recommended by the hotel. It was a short walk into town and the beach clubs. The breakfast was outstanding, so much choice and was the best we had found in our 3 weeks travelling through Italy.

The room on the main floor is stuffy and felt very humid. The property is great, as is the staff. We expected the rooms and facilities to be somewhat more luxurious for the price.
