This is a wonderful hotel for visiting Tropea. The staff were delightful and the room provided amazing views of the sea and the volcanic island Stromboli. The hotel in easy walking distance to the historic center. Breakfast was delicious and served inside or outside with extraordinary views. Parking on the street near the front door was free and easy during our visit in April.

Tropea sits on a steep hill above the beach, and many steps down and up are inevitable for everyone staying in any hotel in Tropea. If you are primarily interested in the beach, you may want to consider a hotel or resort on the outskirts of the city.

The views were fantastic. It overlooked the ocean. The staff were very courteous as well. The location was also pretty good in that inside a 7 minute walk you could be into the heart of the town.

The rooms were tiny. The bedroom and bathroom were both small. Though the views were terrific, getting to the beach would require you to be a mountain climber as there is a ton of stairs to go down and worse to get back up. We chose to take the car instead. There is also no pool to speak of. The water hole is just that and not heated ever.

The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice size and the views were amazing. I especially loved the balcony. The breakfast was very nice and offered a lot of nice options. We loved the charcuterie platter and Aperol spritz when we first arrived. Most of all the staff were very friendly. Especially Georgia and Massimo. Very helpful with advice on where to dine and things to do.

Our only negative was that our balcony jacuzzi did not bubble.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The view was breathtaking and decorated so nice. Perfect view! The staff were extremely kind. Breakfast was with fresh fruit, homemade hot croissants, delicious eggs…and so many more choices. Rooms clean, bed very comfy! I wanted to live in this boutique hotel!!!

One of the best places we have ever stayed! The staff and owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming and helpful. The location is incredible, stunning views and an easy walk into the centre of Tropea. They gave us an incredible room for our honeymoon because they were able to, and we appreciated it immensely! We loved the mini pool and cocktails at sunset! Beautiful place, lovely humans, good wine, we will definitely be back!

The staff was excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Parking right out front of the hotel. Room had a sea view that was spectacular. 10 minute walk to dinner.

For walking access to the beach it is necessary to take steep stairs. More than a few. My wife and I are older so we couldn't use them. We would have to drive our car down to the public parking spot to access the beach.

Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety. View is amazing. Drink upon arrival sitting outside with the amazing view helped to calm our nerves after a long drive. Staff are very helpful and full of information. Parking a dream right outside the hotel in the street.

Cannot fault this hotel. Will definitely stay again.

Massimo, Georgia, Pavel and the rest of the staff were exceptional. They attended to all our needs with fast and effective service. The view was spectacular! Pavel makes the best cocktails! I highly recommend Rocca Della Senna! We will definitely return one day. A special thank you to Georgia for her kindness and support.

Nice place nice atmosphere

We paid more then double the price via booking That is more the 384 for regular room without sea view In the hotel the price was 169 euro. This was definitely not ok and very very much over priced. Booking did. Very bad job here
