Perfect location. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay down by the beach or up on the cliff in Tropea, but this worked out perfectly. We have an amazing view of the water and villa grounds from out terrace. The walk up to the heart of Tropea and restaurant area on the cliff was easy, with the stairs about 50 meters from the villa. We drove into Calabria but walked everywhere while staying in Tropea. Massimo was a wonderful host. Breakfast great, with beautiful views of the villa grounds from the terrace.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The property was stunning—literally right on the beach, with the most beautiful views just steps from the door. Breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, with great variety and fresh options. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience feel even more special. Without a doubt, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Everything was so nice and well taken care of. I can’t wait to come back! And the location was perfect right by the town!

Great location with direct access to beach. Steep uphill walk to town but not too far. Lovely garden and general setting of the villa. Pleasant breakfast arrangements and food. Very helpful owner. All good and clean.

We received a strong recommendation to dine in the restaurant next door but that was our worst eating experience of our Italian trip - the recommendation was not good.

My family and I stayed at Villa Giadi for four nights. We loved Tropea and a huge part of that was our experience with Villa Giada and Massimo. The grounds of Villa Giada are idyllic - there are palm trees and plenty of places to sit outside. The rooms and amenities were suitable but it’s really the people and location that make Villa Giada special. Massimo, the owner, and the staff were attentive and hospitable throughout our stay. Massimo was communicative and responsive to our questions and needs from the moment we booked. We booked four rooms and he made sure our rooms were all nearby. We had three children in our group and the staff and other patrons were very kind to the kids. The location was incredible. You were a 15 minute walk along the beach to the main town. The back gate of the Villa opened directly to the beach. In the area of Villa Giadi, there were other resorts and restaurants. We ate at a couple of them - Lido Charleys and Tropical. Tropical - right next store to Villa Giada - also offered umbrellas and beach chairs rentals. After four nights in the hustle and bustle of the Amalfi Coast, Tropea was a welcome respite and Villa Giada was the perfect place to stay.

The location was amazing. Close to beach, less than 50 yards. The breakfast was excellent every morning. Very fresh. Great service. Massimo was excellent and very helpful with any questions we had. Helped arrange Taxi when needed. The walk to Tropea old town was less than 15 min. A beautiful walk and town is on the hill so be prepared for the stairs.

WE were very happy with the experience. Had no issues with anything. Highly recommend this place.

The location is amazing! Right on the beach with a little garden this hotel was perfect. Breakfast was very nice with scrambled eggs and all. I hoped for lactose-free cornettos for breakfast and every morning there was fresh ones provided for me. Host Massimo was very helpful and staff were very kind. Restaurant right next door had nice foods. With a quick walk and some stairs town centre was quite close by. Easiest to access by Tuktuk-taxi.

The Villa is directly on to the beach via a nice green garden.The owner very helpful we arrived early and it was no problem,gave us breakfast until our room was ready.His recommendation of the next door restaurant,Lido Tropicana was spot on our best meal in Italy so far waited upon by Enzo.

The property was older, lush and well maintained. You felt like you were right on the beach in Italy. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the “jaunt” up hill to town and it felt great to walk home after fabulous meal.

Fantastic location. Wonderful garden with beach access. Large, comfortable, well-appointed room. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Truly a little bit of paradise. Cannot wait to return.

Villa Giada is a small paradise on Earth! We stayed here last year on our honeymoon and had to come back this year as well. The garden is beautiful and provides a much-appreciated cool break from the heat of the beach, which is literally at your doorstep. The breakfast is also delightful, with a great selection of both sweet and savory treats plus good Italian coffee. Oh and you get amazing views of the Stromboli at sunset from the balconies on the upper floor.

The wifi connection is a little choppy in some areas of the property, but if you’ve come to relax and unplug (ad you should) it should not be a big deal.
