The building is in a great location so one can get around Turin very easily. The beds and pillows were very comfy (hotel quality). Our room was warm and spacious. The hosts were friendly and let us leave our luggage in the storage room for a day as our flight home was very late so we were very thankful for that.

We stayed for 3 nights and were given a room facing the balcony (owners house) and the common area for all guests for breakfast which was a shame! I don’t understand why we would be given this room in the first place when we didn’t book breakfast?! We didn’t book breakfast as we like to sleep in on our holidays and try different cafes in the area. Unfortunately, we were woken up every morning around 8:30am by the owner and the guest speaking loud and also the breakfast for other guests was prepared right in front of our door to the room. We would have loved our stay as the building is gorgeous and the room was comfortable but the morning noise and lack of privacy on the one window we had to the room was a downside.

Location of Villa Stampatori was perfect, right in the middle of the city center and yet you had the feeling you were outside of the city, very quiet and peaceful. It's an old palazzo so the architecture was amazing. The view from our room was on a small garden so very nice. The room was spacious enough, very tidy and clean (bathroom also perfect in size and looks and "homemade" soap that smelled great). The breakfast was in 1 word, divine ! We had breakfast on the terrace which was lovely. The host Elena served us a very tasteful and typically Italian breakfast with fresh ingredients and prepared with love (you could almost taste that). So thank you very much Elena for your hospitality and kindness. We can only be positive about this location and its host.

We can't think of anything we didn't like (maybe the many locks from front door to room but it's an old building so understandable).

Breakfast offered a large choice including beautiful home made tarts - different on each day. The hostels Elena was charming and very helpful. The property is unique and interesting and has collections of rare and attractive furtniture and artworks from the 1950’s/60’s. It is very central for walking through the city, quiet and had lovely views over a garden.

Only minor inconvenience is that you have to carry luggage up two flights of stairs to second floor. However, this is a beautiful old building and no one would spoil it with a lift! Hosts were very keen to assist.

So much to like! Wonderful & responsive hosts, very comfortable bed/pillows/sheets/towels, high ceilings, good heating when it was cold, beautiful & generous breakfast (different every day, with delicious home-baked goods and more), central & safe location, and excellent communication. Elena also kindly called our restaurant for us to let them know we would arrive late due to a late train. And she made it easy to store our luggage on the day of our departure. Grazie!

It’s an old villa, so the water pressure was low and the floor creaky, but that’s all part of the magic ;-).

A really unique property with very pleasant staff who are available at all times by phone or text for any questions. The rooms are unusual with a mid century design style. The rooms open onto an internal courtyard balcony so you can move around easily. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but saw what was prepared and it looked amazing. Our room was off a larger living/dining area which was very spacious. The invitation to aperitivo in the owners’ fragrance shop in the courtyard was a really nice touch.

We weren’t aware beforehand that the living/dining area was shared with another room. Both rooms lead off the living room so you needed to lock your room or keep the door closed for privacy. This was not a problem and we didn’t actually meet the guests in the neighbouring room but it wasn’t what we had been expecting. Probably an ideal room solution for a grown up family or couples travelling together.

The building is a just a quick taxi ride away from the train station. The B&B is on the top floor of an amazing 16th century building with exterior frescoes in the inner court. There are lots of stairs, so not for those out of shape, elderly or adverse to climbing 450 year old marble steps. Our rooms were very charming and had amazing retro modern Italian furniture and fixtures. The beds had great linens and were comfy. Windows open on to terraces or look out onto inner courts of other historic buildings. It's in the ideal location for seeing Torino...we walked everywhere. There are countless restaurants, cafes, groceries, shopping, etc all right outside the door. The host(s) treat you like family and are very lovely and great hostesses and promoters of beautiful Turin/Torino. It was a special stay.

It was very hot, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor terraces, but that is of no fault of the hosts. No complaints.

This is a beautiful B&B run by the wonderful team of Emma and her mum. We had one of the half dozen comfortable a/c rooms opening onto a well-shaded L-shaped terrace overlooking a 16th century courtyard, which opens onto the Via Stampetori, a narrow cobbled street in the old town, perfectly situated for restaurants, bars, and idle strolling. The street leads onto the main precinct of Via Garibaldi. It is an easy 25 minute walk from either of the main train stations, 30 minutes walk from the long-distance bus stop. There is easy access on foot to the museums, churches, river, and the colonnaded shopping streets which are such a feature of Turin. The B&B is quiet and safe. It is reached by a broad stone staircase accessed through the courtyard. There is comfortable seating on the terrace, plus a communal sitting/dining room if the weather is poor. The breakfast is highly recommended. If you want a standard hotel room then look elsewhere. This B&B is unique and very special.

The B&B is in a beautiful historical building in the hearth of Turin, so every main point of the city is easily reachable by walking in maximum 20 minutes. this is great to visit Turin. The room was spacious and clean.

The breakfast is too expensive, especially if you consider the great choice the neighborhood offers you. It is probably a price that targets non-Italian guests, but any Italian will find it unjustified. Unfortunately the bath did not work so you end up using it as a shower without the option of having it full.

The place is an experience and a privilege to stay here. Owned and run by the last lovely lady in her family line this special Villa right in the Centre of Turin is beautiful. Like a true Italian home experience, amazing breakfast prepared with love. A balcony to oversee a courtyard and fresco aligning the walls. There ARE stairs but that to me is part of the experience. Clean rooms and amenities with specialty body wash and shampoos etc. Great value for money. Definitely a favorite stay.

Loved everything about this gorgeous b&b. Great location, comfortable room, decent sized bathroom. Especially loved the outside breakfast terrace. The owner went out of her way to make sure I had gluten free breakfast. Turin is a fascinating city, not hugely on the tourist trail. We loved being right in the city centre, and in such a tranquil spot all at the same time.

Parquet flooring is beautiful but noisy at night when you’re trying to creep about quietly! Be aware that the B&B is 4 flights of stairs up with no lift available.
