Outstanding location - overlooking the main square of Turin, yet very quiet. The ceiling in our huge bedroom was fascinating: it had had a painting on it centuries ago that had then been partly destroyed by fire - but was still interesting. Our cleaner (Paola) and receptionist (Giulia) were both very helpful and friendly.
The main disadvantage of this hotel is that there is no receptionist most of the time - and we had to 'phone, paying overseas rates, to find out a couple of things. At this price, we expect a receptionist for at least some of the day.

The location is the biggest plus in the stay, above one of the larger courtyards by the palace complex. It is more than amazing--a sweeping view of a beautiful urban space, with balconies even. The room was enormous and well-appointed. Very interesting finishes--this is not a typical hotel, it is a product of a few creatives giving personal touches. There is a nice modern bathroom too and a tiny kitchen.
The checkin could have been a little smoother. This is not a conventional hotel with staff at a desk all day long. The instructions on how to get into the building were next to the door downstairs, but they were in Italian, which I don't speak, causing a bit of a minor panic. I did get in though, and all was well.

Right on the central Piazza of Turin, couldn't ask for a better location. The room (one room, not a suite) was clean, tastefully decorated, roomy for 3, and comfy, with a little mini kitchen. Concrete floor, very high ceilings! The tiny balcony looked out on the piazza. It was the festival of San Giovanni Battista; there was a marching band and lots of people right outside, and that night, there were fireworks near the river that we could watch over the rooftops. Not quiet! But exciting and fun. The woman at the desk was friendly, helpful and nice, and spoke good enough English.
Finding the place is not easy; there's no sign, and the Piazza is very big. We wouldn't have been able to find it without google maps. You have to find their door somehow, push an intercom, get buzzed in, and they enable the elevator (which was too small to fit all 3 of us with our bags) to get to 2nd floor. Only one set of keys. None of this was a big deal.

I mean... the location. Can't get much better than that. And the ceiling.... what a joy to wake up in the morning. You can feel the history. The person at the reception is really friendly and we loved the recommendations to see and where to eat etc. The family room is spacious enough and you could technically cook your own meals in the kitchen area. Open the balcony doors and you're part of the life in the Piazza Castello.
It's warm in the summer in the city and we know that. The AC is working but not as much as we'd liked, it was still pretty sticky and warm. We ended up opening the windows to the square, which then makes a little noise outside but that is okay. It's just a minor thing. And because of the warmth you'd like to be able to keep the doors open from the bathroom so we ended up jamming our shoes in between the doors to be able to keep them open.

Fantastic location! Excellent breakfast arrangement - don’t miss going there in the morning. Go to the Egyptian museum.
We were there the first week in July - very hot and the air conditioning was less than optimal.

Location is perfect
It was an absolute nightmare to check in, at 3:30 in the afternoon! No staff, all from remote but it wasn’t functioning correctly. The person helping me was nice but had no way of resolving the problem. The place is nice, but it’s a 3 star hotel and they can’t be bothered to staff the desk for check in. It was a terrible experience and overly frustrating.

Super central hotel, right on Piazza Castello, perfect to walk around Turin! Great view of the Piazza from the balcony and good spot to have your expresso on the balcony to watch the people go by The room has very very high ceilings, clean with a little fridge and dark enough at night when you close the outdoor blinds ! Comfortable bed too Instructions to find the hotel were good too Air conditioning was a must as it was 35 degrees during our stay
To be theorough, the wifi didn't really work or was so weak it was barely allowing us to read emails etc :( they should really improve it as we also pick the place for the wifi.. We could hear some kind of laundry / washing machines noise happening somewhere on our floor or above in the morning, so I would grab earplugs in case ? The parking recommended was close by but very expensive, it would have been great to have a cheaper option suggested too..?

Everything! Gorgeous huge flat overlooking the piazza. Parking is close by. The interior was beautiful with high ceilings and very well equipped. I would stay here over and over! Great location to everything. Luggage storage after check-out offered.
A little confusing on access. Directions were not included in the booking. We called and were directed to get into the unit.

Great location, balcony overlooking the square. Pedestrian street nearby. Lots of shops and restaurants. The girl at the reception was very charming and friendly. We didn't expect cleaning, but it was. Quiet at night, you can only hear fountains. Delight! Small kitchen, coffee machine and kettle - everything was in working order. And they even replenished tea, coffee and treats with small cookies. It's nice.

The location of this apartment was excellent, right in the heart of Turin, but was quiet once inside. The small kitchen had small fridge and the usual facilities for making tea/coffee. Admission was a bit complicated as there were no staff available - it was all done with codes! All in all it was fantastic value for money.
