The feel of the hotel was so "old world Venice" - loved the atmosphere. Our room was decorated in Venican style -again gorgeous. We had a canal-view room with a little balcony which was magnificent. The room was large with plenty of storage space - the location was simply the best! Cafes just outside and a short walk to St Marks Square. Wide variety of breakfast items in a nice breakfast area.

Well it was expensive - but I guess that is Venice.

It is not often that one encounters a place that so thoroughly embodies the harmony of tradition, hospitality, and competence as Casa Nicola Priuli in Venice. We spent two nights here, and I must say—without reservation—that it was nothing short of extraordinary. The room itself was a vision of Venetian authenticity: richly appointed, tastefully preserved, and evocative of a time when beauty was considered essential to human flourishing. It was not simply accommodation—it was an experience, an immersion into the cultural soul of the city. Breakfast? Exceptional. Thoughtfully prepared, plentiful, and delicious—executed with the kind of care that speaks volumes about the values of the people behind it. But what truly set this place apart was the staff. Rarely have I encountered such genuine, proactive kindness and professionalism. They were not merely polite—they were engaged, generous, and sincerely interested in making our stay meaningful. Now, let me tell you what they chose to do—not because they had to, but because it was right. They organized, entirely free of charge, a private boat transfer from the hotel to Murano, which dropped us off directly at the rear entrance of a renowned glass-blowing factory. We were then given a private demonstration of the ancient craft of glassblowing and a personal tour of the factory—an experience that was both awe-inspiring and humbling. All of it complimentary. In a world that too often neglects excellence in favor of efficiency, Casa Nicola Priuli stands as a testament to what can be achieved when people care—truly care—about the value they offer. We will, without question, return.

The hotel was very luxurious, with a beautiful location right by the canal – very romantic and on a quiet street. It was just a 5-minute walk from the Venice port to the hotel, which was very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and very polite – especially the porter, who kindly carried our luggage up the stairs to the third floor and told us: "If you need anything, just let us know – we’re here for you 24/7." Breakfast was very tasty, the interior was luxurious and clean. The room had air conditioning – the temperature was perfect. Thank you for making our first visit to Venice so memorable!

Wonderfully Venetian ambience - obviously old spaces converted into modern hotel rooms. The rooms are managed by the San Lorenzo staff a few doors down, who were wonderfully helpful. Excellent location, and impressively quiet as well.

The facilities don’t really compare with those of a modern-built hotel, but that’s kind of the point. You’re staying in Venice, after all!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The canal view room was large and comfortable, and in such a perfect location to explore Venice. Breakfast was in the hotel next door which was fine by us but worth noting for the sake of this review. You also had to check in next door which was a little confusing on arrival, though quickly resolved. Every time we needed help from the staff they were so helpful with maps and advice on the transport system/restaurant recommendations etc.

If I was being really picky I'd say the breakfast was average and some of the furnishings were a bit tired. But for the price it was worth it to us 🙂

Absolutely amazing stay! It was my first time in Venice, and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The cleanliness was exceptional – a spotless room, crisp white linens, and fresh towels. The breakfast was delicious, a perfect start to the day. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. The location is perfect – close to all the main attractions and water transport, yet in a quiet and dry area, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. I loved every moment and would definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel❤️

There are several adjoining buildings along the canal and ours was very traditionally decorated with beautiful communal areas. We paid extra for a canal view room and it was wonderful with fabulous views. Large room with spacious modern bathroom. Lovely breakfast served in adjoining building. We took a Gondola ride from outside the hotel, very relaxing. excellant location 5 mins walk to St Marks Square, nice to go before breakfast and the crowds. 5 mins walk to nearest waterbus stop. 15 mins to rialto Bridge. Helpful reception advised where when to see amazing Venice regata. lots of lovely squares nearby to eat out.

Nothing. No lifts but you need to fit to carry your suitcase over all the bridges in Venice anyway.

Location was excellent, very close to the centre and restaurants, very close to canal and crossing bridges

The floor was a bit dusty and hairdryer was covered with something so that it was not pleasant to touch it

Excellent hotel. We had a challenge to find the hotel, but it was rather our mistake since we were searching it by the address. In Venice you need to google search by the name of the hotel, then it is easy. Once we got to the hotel, everything was awesome - the staff, the room... Breakfast was ok too. The hotel is located close to San Marco square and all other places of interest are around it. Right next to the hotel, there is an amazing Gelateria, where handmade gelato is served.

Stayed here two weeks and savored every minute. Casa is in a glorious centrally located, lively and lovely Castello neighborhood. Our beautiful and spacious room (featured frequently in their marketing materials) had not one but 2 canal views, a sitting area where we enjoyed several dinners "a casa," an updated bathroom. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast with a varied choices, house made cakes, and warm service by le signore.
