Breakfast was amazing, rooms clean and comfortable, great location

Guy running the desk was very unpleasant. He tried to charge me for another guest even though I booked for 2 people. He argues that he is losing money and I needed to pay for breakfast for my second guest. Eventually after showing my booking for two he grumbled and let us both eat in the morning. He also made us leave our passports at the desk upon check in for 10 min while he took us to our room which we did not like

We stayed 3 nights in a Superior Double Room. The hotel is not newly renovated, so the furniture looks a bit old, but everything functioned properly. There was also a kettle in the room with a generous selection of tea and coffee. The location was excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from San Marco. The lobby staff was very friendly and kind; he answered all our questions regarding transportation and tourist attractions.

The cleanliness was very good, and the room was cleaned thoroughly each day. However, some items looked rather worn and dirty, such as the curtains, armchairs, and carpet.

Hotel Bisanzio offers a very convenient location in central Venice — just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark’s Square, yet situated on a quieter side street which allows for a more peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a traditional decor that suits the Venetian setting. Everything felt tidy and orderly throughout the hotel. Breakfast was served on a pleasant patio, which was a nice way to start the day. The selection was decent, and the setting added a relaxed touch to the morning. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in Venice if you're looking for a clean, well-located hotel with a bit of local charm.

The location is perfect. It is slightly off the main street so the noise and crowds are not outside your room. The ferry spot is right out in front and has ferries to every location. The square and Doge Palace is a short walk away. Our room was lovely and large -a mix of old world charm and modern amenities overlooking a private courtyard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The only negative was we took them up on the free trip to Murano and ended up in a kind of hard sell in a showroom. I would skip it and take a ferry next time.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street 5 min walk from the San Zaccaria vaporetto & alilaguna station. The neighbourhood offers a variety of very good restaurants, cafe’, patisseries. Though central, my room was very quiet with double glazing. I loved the freshly planted flowers blooming in my veranda the Easter days, overlooking a classic Venetian roof scene. The receptionists were professional, always polite. I took my breakfast outside. I was very satisfied with my stay, and would happily return.

The location of this hotel was fantastic and very convenient. The reception staff were helpful and the hotel was well presented. The breakfast was well presented with good options. The room was small but probably average for this location. In the 3 days we stayed, the room was cleaned once. It was expensive but I guess average for the location. Overall it was a good hotel and I would stay again and recommend to others.

Maybe offer complimentary water for the room.

Location was ideal. Perfect distance from all main parts throughout Venice. All of what we did was no more than a 15minute walk. Room was lovely, great air conditioning, bathroom fully stocked and great shower. Mini bar was full and good choice. Working TV and plenty of power outlets. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room. Lovely view over a little courtyard. Room was spacious and perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice and all hot food was still hot.

The “large bed” we had was just 2 beds pushed together but besides that, no faults or problems.

First the location was fantastic to get access to the waterfront. We walked through the northern backstreets to get there which took 45 minutes. Def better to get a waterbus traghetto from the station Traditional character hotel. The staff was very helpful with advice , that makes the difference. We got a good deal for Venice so the value was great Hope to return.

The view wasn't too great for the room we had but for the price it was a minor detail. Also id advise getting the booking dot com breakfast deal in advance. Better wine glasses for the room would have been a nice touch.

Beautiful location and building. The bathroom had seen it's best days but everything was sparkling clean and came with everything we needed incl. quality bath products. The breakfast was surprisingly generous and staff very friendly. Very good beds. We had a superior double room with a small sitting corner which made the whole difference for a bit of space (the rooms are small as they often are in Italy), and a view to the inner yard (there's nothing there but you get more light into the room). No bar or lobby life at the hotel but there are plenty of places around. I would stay there again.

It got quite hot in the room, even though we turned of the heating and it was very cold outside. Not a big problem though as we cold easily air the room out with fresh air coming from the canal. .
