Excellent breakfast, perfect to prepare for a day of exploring. Very friendly and kind staff, front desk staff spoke great English, and the kitchen staff speak enough to make you a fabulous coffee. Great location away from busy areas but with easy access to the main attractions if you want it. Beautiful building with lots of charm and classic styling. Opening your window in the morning you can hear the bells ring out across the city and it a really charming way to start the day and enjoy Venice. Room was clean and had a great air conditioner. Short walk to Vaporetto stop at Zaccaria where you can take your luggage without any stairs. All around, a brilliant hotel that we were very happy we found.

The building is somewhat dated, but is still very comfortable!

Daniel was so welcoming and helpful. He guided me to some great restaurants and helped me discover hidden gems. I ran out of time before I ran out of things to do, so he gave suggestions on accomplishing all of it using the vaporetto. The location is amazing. It was on a quiet street, yet just a 2 minute walk to Zaccaria vaporetto stop. So easy to get here from the airport on Alilaguna. It was a quick walk to San Marco where I was able to watch the sunrise and get great pictures without the crowds. It was easy to stop back during the day to drop off packages or grab something from the room. The breakfast ladies provided a wonderful spread and were so helpful with making sure I had what I needed. The room was beautiful with silk wall coverings and a gorgeous chandelier. The bathroom was modern and super clean. Location and staff make this a real gem. The room was so quiet. I never heard any other guests. There was a flight of stairs to get to my room and another to reach the breakfast room.

The pillows were firmer than I prefer.

The welcome received on checking in was warm and genuine. Everything was easy and the lady explained everything clearly and efficiently to a clearly tired guest. The breakfast was the best I have had during this trip to Italy. It was simple but plentiful and of excellent quality. The staff at breakfast were excellent too. When I'm back in Venice, I will be back, I will have no hesitation staying here again. The location is excellent for a base from which to explore. The man who brought me to my room explained about the history of the building and the decor which was a nice touch. My room was very comfortable, clean and large with a really good view as far as things go in Venice. I can highly recommend this hotel and it's excellent staff.

There was nothing I didn't like and have no cause for complaint.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hôtel is beautifully decorated, in keeping with the surroundings and gives an air of élégance. Breakfast is vast and varied, taken in the bright, spacious dining area, with it’s grand Murano chandelier. There are restaurant tables dotted at the edge of the canal on exiting, which be long to neighbouring establishments, but well worth a try. Location from water taxi is approx 5 mins, all flat and around 10 mins to St Marc’s square. Approx 15 mins to Rialto bridge and the Grand canal. Superb ! Will definitely stay here for our next visit. Recommended !

Breakfast Staff was amazing! Plus the front door folks were even better with the local knowledge. Great location to move around. Easy access. We even had two large suit cases. They moved the luggage up the stairs with an elevator and we took the stairs. I know some people don’t like turning there keys in before you leave each time but we enjoyed it… didn’t have to worry about losing them. Shower was hot and powerful.

The Room was alittle warm for us in April but we understand no AC yet. Just wish we picked a different room for the size of it. But again, everything else made it great. So, please keep it up. Wish there was more storage in the bathroom. But we are on vacation.

Situated in a great spot, close to everything so you can walk basically everywhere. It’s a clean and neat old building. Quite unique, very comfy and intimate. The staff were extremely respectful, helpful and friendly, I think the friendliest I’ve met so far in a hotel.

The heating system during winter. In the bathroom there was an electrical heating panel which did the job perfectly but in the room we had to use the AC so it was ok while it was on and it got really cold when it was off but we couldn’t let it on all the time, the air was getting too dry and clogged our sinuses too much, also sometimes it didn’t work or we just didn’t know how to make it work :D anyways understandable since it’s a very old building.

A great location. Amongst great restaurants & a short walk from main tourist attractions. Our room was spacious, (superior quadruple room) was cleaned daily, fresh towels given daily & beds were very comfortable. The staff are wonderful- friendly, helpful & always welcoming at reception. The breakfast was delicious. A wide selection of food- meats, cheese, bacon, sausages, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, etc. A lovely selection of juices & different coffees were available. Staff were very accommodating & friendly during breakfast.

The location was fantastic. It was near Piazza San Marco but far enough away to avoid most tourists. It was an easy five minute walk from the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop. The staff were very welcoming and any question we had they could provide recommendations (restaurants, walking routes, vaporetto routes, etc). Breakfast was good and stuck with us until lunch time. The room had AC and the bathroom was separated from the sleeping area making it a little bit more comfortable. They handled difficult tourists very well as well. They communicated everything that needed to be done before leaving well in advance.

Breakfast didn't start until 8, and I would have preferred an earlier breakfast, but that is just personal preference.

We loved our stay at this well-located, charming hotel. It had a touch of class and authentic Venetian character. It had a traditional Italian breakfast. The staff arranged a boat transfer from the airport (extra cost), which was absolutely worth it: a stunning ride through the canals that dropped us just a short walk from the hotel. A perfect start to our Venice adventure!

While there’s no elevator, the cozy atmosphere and traditional Italian breakfast—especially the coffee—more than made up for it.

The Corte dei Greci Hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The hotel is very well located on a canal and with restaurants, small shops, gelateria's etc below. The hotel is super quiet at night and has a fantastic breakfast which is included in the room price. The breakfast had eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, yoghurt, sweet cakes, croissants, toast, jams, fruit. It also had hot and cold drink options. We would absolutely recommend the hotel and its wonderful staff.
