Room is nicely furnished and location is great, it's in a nice quiet street but still.close to so many returants and walkable to everywhere. The shower was my favourite shower in all of Europe so far.

Checkout was early at 9.30, lots of other places are 10 -11am. But the room was comfortable and a great price for Venice .

The location was great and the room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was easy to find the apartment and the host was friendly and responsive.

The air conditioner was extremly loud (perhaps broken) - even when turned off it would make weird noises every minute. There was no iron and no possibility to rent such.

Lovely locanda run by Anna who was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. I was suprised how big the room was for Venice. The bed was comfy. There was a mini fridge and air-conditioning which worked well. The location was very handy for water transport and main attractions around St Marks Square. You can store your luggage after check out if you have more exploring to do.

The shower was very small. I didn't hear much noise from the alleys but was disturbed a few times by people in the locanda. Don't know if that was a sound insulation issue or just very noisy people! Check out was really early, however I scheduled tours to coincide with this so it was fine for me. The front door was a bit temperamental but once you got the hang of it it was fine.

We like the place so near to the mark square and so easy to get arrround. Anna so responsive and also the house keeping Zade also so welcomed and helpful person. We will come again when we visit venice . The room new and the furniture modern which is we like it . So clean and comfy to stay

The soundproof need to be improved

Easy to reach from At Marcos station, only a 5 minute walk to the accomodation. The room and bed were large and modern, very clean room. The host was quick to respond to messages.

It was noisy, the fridge made humming sounds all night, and you could hear people outside and entering the accomodation. This could be fixed with putting in some earplugs.

Easy self check in. Very clean and housekeeping made the room nice and tidy. Air con worked well. Location was superb, 5 min walk to main attractions. Staff were friendly. Loved that it had netflix, made evenings more relaxing. Very comfy beds!

Front door was initially a little tricky to open however this was not a big issue as we called up staff and the lady was helpful and kind. Might be useful if there was a sign on the door to say how to open the door. Walls were not very soundproof but i still had a good nights sleep

Great location - easy walking distance to the water taxis and St Marks square. Room was basic, however bed was comfortable. Had a daily tidy of the room which was lovely. Accomodation on Venice is very expensive, so this was good comparative, however still more expensive than other Italian locations.

FYI there is one flight of stairs to take your bags up, no lift

Locanda Cavanella is a great choice of accommodation for budget travel: you get a centrally located room that is reasonably clean and spacious. Daily room cleaning, staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Some bathroom smell sometimes, nothing too crazy.

We actually liked the virtual check in and picking up the keys from reception. The hotel door is a bit awkward to open at first but we got there in the end.

I can't say there was anything we didn't like. The only annoying thing was that the WiFi password is on a notice in the corridor but as we were in room 1 we didn't venture down the corridor so were unaware of it.
