The location was perfect for our stay because it was close to major attractions like St. Mark's Cathedral and the Doge's Palace. It was conveniently located to the Alilaguna water bus station so that we could get back and forth to the Marco Polo airport. Caterina was super helpful in providing directions and transportation information. She recommended dining options as well as other local information. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. Upon our arrival, the host Lorenzo impressed us with his kind attitude. Our early check-in was no problem at all – we were able to safely leave our luggage at the reception and then go for a walk around the city. The accommodation itself, the location, the quietness, and the easy access to St. Mark’s Square make this place an excellent choice. The breakfasts we had ordered were always delicious, with fresh bread baked in the morning, and we were regularly welcomed by our hosts’ good coffee as well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was relatively large and comfortable. Washroom was modern and looked to be recently renovated. The location was excellent in a quiet secluded square, and close to the water taxi’s, restaurants, shops and St.Mark’s Square.

The air conditioner was unavailable (temperature was 25 Celsius) which would be OK but opening the windows without screens let in a lot of mosquitoes. The owner provided a couple of bug repellent plugins which worked well.

We were a family visiting Venice for the first time. The owner was very responsive to emails. Katrina provided us with all the information about where we could park our car, which ferry to use, and access to the room as we arrived late. They tried their best to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was very simple but delicious. The room was clean and the bathroom was renovated. The locanda is minutes away from the most attractive areas. It's located in a quiet square.

This thing didn't bother us but is worth mentioning: spaces in Venice are very limited, and you should expect the same when it comes to buildings.

Very central location, close to everything - sightseeing places, canals, restaurants. Easy walk with luggage, no bridges/stairs if the right boat stop is chosen. Room was tiny, but super clean and tidy. I wish there was a bit more place in the bathroom to place the bits and pieces, hang towels. But these are minor inconveniences. Owners were extremely nice and friendly, suggested great locations to eat. We did try them out and enjoyed them all. Thank you! Recommended.

Breakfast not provided - the location was perfect. Although the piazza was very austere the interior of the hotel was nice.

No clear directions or map to find the hotel which was a drawback. Also It would have been nice to have had someone there to welcome us on our arrival, although Caterina and co were really nice and helpful when we saw them the morning following our arrival. Great to have a kettle and tea in the room but some milk (sachets?) would have been nice. Also they'd run out of biscuits on the second morning.

Friendly family running the place. Very good location for checking in from the pier and visiting nearby attractions. Overall good functional facilities. Lorenzo offered great travel tips for us. We're taken care of very nicely. Great value for the money.

We visited during summer with high 90sF temperature. Thus the AC in the room is little weak which took some time to cool the room. The shower stall in our family room was just big enough to fit our family which is relatively thin. Bigger folks may have a harder time.

We traveled with a six year old boy and a 9 months old baby and we had a great stay there. Very clean, amazing rooms, friendly staff. Very nice.

It was cold during the night as the heating wasn’t turned on (on the 1st of November) and we couldn’t turned it on ourselves as it was stopped by the management. Which was a bit uncomfortable as we had a baby and and a small child.

The location was excellent, being close to Piazza San Marco and San Zaccaria (so great when using vaporettos to travel). The assistance and personal touch of the owners and staff was truly exceptional. Even though we had very high tides during our stay (+1 to +1.5m) the area did not flood, which was a huge benefit. The WiFi was very fast also.

The bathroom was on the small size, especially the shower, which was a little too small. Not a fault of the hotel but I had no telephone signal, although we could substitute with WiFi, which was very good.

The communication with the hosts was exceptional. We were welcomed and shown to our clean and spacious room. The hotel was immaculate and well-presented and the location was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was pristine. We would recommend Locanda Casa Querini to anyone and would definitely stay here again.
