Excellent location, just five minutes from San Marco. The room was pleasant and comfortable and there wasn’t any noise from outside at night. The bathroom was small but it was adequate for a short stay. We arrived in the evening after reception was closed and the hotel supplied excellent directions and information for arrival.

The breakfast room was far too small to accommodate all the guests. One morning we were asked to go back to our room three times and come back in ten minutes because there wasn’t a table available. This was despite being asked to select a time we wanted breakfast.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the main sights of Venice. It is tucked away in one of the many narrow streets-alleyways between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. We stayed in a room at the top of the hotel ( it is only 2floors) which had lovely views over the rooftops. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the air-conditioning! Breakfast was great and prepared freshly for us each morning by the lovely Elena. The host, Frederico made our stay - he was welcoming, friendly and very helpful with recommendations for visits and getting about the city. Nothing was too much trouble; our flight home was early so he arranged some breakfast in our room which was beautifully presented on a tray and in the mini fridge. He also arranged a water taxi to take us to the airport.

There is nothing to dislike. However, please be aware that there is no lift to the top floor and climbing the stairs could be a challenge. Frederico helped us with the luggage and there was a small lift to go to the first floor. If you have mobility issues, this may not suit you. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there is a small fridge which we kept stocked with cold drinks. This would not stop me staying at the hotel again but it is something which we like to have.

Amazing hotel - the location was excellent - a few minutes and you are Piazzo san Marco. Our host, Federico was the perfect host - we had very detailed instructions for self check-in as we arrived late. Breakfast was very nice and relaxed, we were served fresh fruit salad, coffee, croissants etc - all served with a smile! We had a wonderful welcome from Federico the next day, and plenty of useful tips about how to make the most of our short time in Venice. Each recommendation we followed was just as good as he said, from restaurants to walks. Thank you Federico, you made our stay! We would definitely book Relais Venezia again if we are lucky enough to return to Venice!

Everything was perfect, really, but if I was being very picky, a mirror above the dressing table in our room would have been useful :)

We spent two wonderful nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier. The room, the bed, and even the bathroom were all splendid , spacious, comfortable, and perfect for rest and relaxation. We slept deeply and felt at ease throughout our stay. The location is unbeatable: just a few minutes’ walk from St. Mark’s Square and the Rialto Bridge, surrounded by charming streets and amazing places to discover. The service was excellent , warm and attentive , and we truly felt welcome. It was a real oasis in the heart of a wonderfully bustling city. We will definitely return.

Very, very nice, cozy, clean and welcoming hotel. The experience at Hotel Relais Venice left us with many stories and great memories. The hotel facilities and room services are exceptional. The staff are also accommodating and friendly. The breakfast served by Mrs. Elena, a very kind person who speaks several languages ​​was fantastic! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice! We will definitely stay at this hotel if we come back to Venice.

The location was brilliant and the staff absolutely exceptional. So friendly and helpful and they gave us some very nice suggestions for restaurants and activities. The rooms were very nice even if the common area was somewhat small. The entrance is of the beaten path in a small alley so can be hard to find the first time. But once there the hotel is close to all main attractions and boat stops

The rooms and breakfast area were rather small, but on the other hand everything was very nicely arranged and decorated. The bathrooms were nicely done and everything was very clean

This was the 3rd leg & hotel on our trip, from Milan, Bellagio & then to here, Relais Venizia which was easily the best hotel, (taking into consideration that the first two were 4star hotels). Frederico, Elena & Leonardo were VERY welcoming, friendly & very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate our needs. I accommodated the two rooms suite for my friend & myself which was exclusive from the other rooms, which gave us complete privacy. The breakfast area is furnished beautifully & does not resemble a dining area at all, it is that comfortable.The hotel is sited adjacent to the canal with the gondoliers & water taxis passing continuously, is a sight to behold. In the other direction via the little alleyways are the Restarants, gelato parlours, shops, Marco Polo Piazza etc. I would have scored this hotel 11/12 out of 10 if it were possible &.would recommend if you want genuinely lovely welcoming people that make your stay as comfortable as possible,then this is the Venzia hotel for you.

Lovely small hotel minutes from St Marks square, but in a quiet side street. Ticks all the boxes - and even better, the very helpful hosts Federico and Leonardo give excellent recommendations on restaurants, what to do, and where to go to have a super Venice experience. Definitely recommended.

It was a perfect boutique hotel and at a very reasonable price! It was in a perfect spot within a few minutes of St Mark's Square and Rialto bridge. We did various long walks around the city and could easily return to our hotel for a short rest. The staff were all so incredibly nice & helpful, from the moment of booking. Frederico gave me instructions about how to transfer from the airport & made some superb dinner recommendations. The hotel room was very clean and the room service was daily and perfect. At the end of our visit, Frederico ordered us a water taxi which picked us up literally from the canal outside our door! I would definitely return to this hotel and have highly recommended it to friends and family

Venice was our first stop on our first trip to Italy. We had no idea what to expect, but trusted the reviews of Relais Venezia as a good place to stay. Right from the beginning, Leonardo and Federico were responsive and extremely helpful, communicating via WhatsApp. During our stay, we spoke with them multiple times getting invaluable advice about where to go, what to do, what to expect, etc. That alone would have been enough to recommend the Relais. However, on top of that our room (actually more of an apartment) with a kitchen fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, double bed, sofa bed, entryway, and bath, was always wonderful to return to after a day of walking the city. If we get a chance to return to Venice, we wouldn’t hesitate to make Relais Venezia our first choice.
