Location was amazing, so close to San Marco. Nice and Clean, bathroom was huge. Very venetian feel in its decor.

Bed was a little hard for me personally and they could do with a few extra tables in the breakfast room that can accommodate more than 3 people as we were a 4 and ended up sitting separate from our children.

Beautiful experience! The staff were incredibly helpful! It was our first stop on a taste of Italy journey and they made it just perfect. Location is great. It is very old so don’t expect perfect but it was exactly what we wanted. Our room overlooked the canal which was lovely. The sweetest lady made coffee for us that was one of our best so far! (Wish I had written names) The staff helped us to plan things to do and recommended the very best restaurants including calling for reservations and writing in detail what to do to exit the island! So exceptional. Again, sorry we aren’t naming but they were all so great! Would highly recommend this hotel to friends. Thank you all so much for your kindness.

The two men working at reception (Paolo & I didn’t get the name of the other lovely man!) were sooo helpful and friendly. I had so many questions every day and they were always more than happy to help. Can’t thank them enough!

I had some issues with the lady cleaning- I was the only room with a private terrace and she would just let herself into my room during the day (multiple times) and hang up other people’s dirty towels to dry on my terrace and smoke too! I was in and out of the hotel all day and my room smelled of cigarettes and I had to remove the towels in order to use the terrace I was paying for. I didn’t feel safe knowing she just came into my room whenever she felt like it, assuming I would be out for the day.

Great location, fantastic friendly staff. Breakfast was very simple, but that was okay. Given how central it was, it was fairly quiet. On one night some party animals blasted music nearby, and the staff went over and asked them to keep it down - we SO appreciated that!!! Remember - Venice is old, the buildings are old, and European hotel rooms are much smaller than you might expect coming from the USA or Canada. The age is part of the experience!!!

The internet is very hit and miss. The air conditioning did not seem to work, but it was not too bad - I would hate to be there in July or August, though! The bathroom is SO CRAMPED - be prepared for injuries from banging into things (my elbow, my son's knee and head).

I was in venice for 3 nights, enjoyed the accommodation. Best price, great area, very close to St Marks Square ( acouple of minutes walk) had a lovely view of a a waterway, enjoyed the balcony/therace. Clean room, no issues. Great staff, very helpfull. Breakfast was great, Loved the keys. Not as expensive as all others in the area.

Small bathroom, a little old but still working fine. Wifi was problematic, but no issue for me since i just "visited " the room to sleep and shower. I didn't even bother them about it. Venice is beautifull.

Breakfast was good and friendly staff, comfortable bed, bathroom was tiny but enough for one person, how much time do you actually spend in the bathroom on vacation? Cleanliness of the room very well und plenty of fresh towels

My room was really cold, I was freezing a lot, even though I usually don't freeze when everybody else is freezing, at night I even had to wear a second pair of pyjama pants, woolen socks and a sweater, also in the second night, when I got a heater for my room. Cleanliness of the room itself was great, however, in the bathroom have been a few ants and I don't mind ants, I just wanted to mention it in case there are guests staying, who do mind about it :)

Perfect location near Basilica di San Marco. The hotel has a wonderful Venetian charm, an old but exceptional building. Staff very nice and friendly.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic - very close to St Mark's Square. Breakfast adequate and a good start to the day (good coffee!). Nice and warm inside with good heating.

The bathroom was very cramped (but spotlessly clean). I was travelling alone so it didn't really matter too much. The pillows were a bit flat, so sleeping was okay but not great. But for a short stay in Venice this hotel is fine. It does the job.

The breakfast was delicious. It was the only hotel that we have breakfast included and it was very convenient.

The staff was nice and always available
