Lorenzo was so helpful and charming. His staff was lovely, too. The building was charming; it felt like we stepped into the 17th Century. Just a short walk to Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto, it was a quiet and lovely neighborhood, perfect for exploring and not being overwhelmed by crowds. If you stay in the canal view suite, make sure you notice the painted ceiling, it's like what you'll see in a palace.

This is truly nit-picking and not really a complaint at all: the pillows could be a little better, and the short glass wall in our shower made it a little cold. We were there in the winter so summer travel will probably not have that small problem.

We really enjoyed our stay. This small boutique hotel is in a 17th century building, and has a lot of character, and a fantastic central location with restaurants, shops and sights within a short walk. It overlooks a canal on one side and a central square on the other. The manager was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with - and provided some excellent restaurant recommendations. The three rooms open to a shared common area where breakfast is also served. A fantastic place from which to explore Venice!

This place was wonderful. It is in the perfect location for a lot of the things people go to Venice for.... The Rialto, The Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, San Marco Square. It overlooks a lovely historic square to the front and a canal to the back. The host was delightful, helpful and offered suggestions as to where to eat. A cleaner came daily although we prefered to be left in peace. We had a large suite with a huge bedroom and private sitting room but there was also a big communal area. The Wifi worked perfectly.

Well the furniture was a bit random, some charmingly old and wardrobes just old conti-board. A shelf in the bathroom would have been an asset, but these are very small matters.

Our host was incredible welcoming, already waiting for us, thoroughly explaining all details. The room is decorated in a palazzo style with two windows overlooking a canal and a little bridge.Amazing, well thought out touches such as tea/coffee station, toiletries etc and an excellent breakfast. Perfectly located between san Marco and Rialto - either about a 6min walk. Lots of restaurants, squares and shop near by.

Would prefer duvet bedding rather than sheets

Lovely B&B over looking a canal view in 16th century setting, amazing antique gondola window on the waiting area, Lorenzo very kind and helpful with everything gives suggestions about Venice must see and where to eat. The room very clean, linens are fresh , kettle in the room and tea and coffee. Ionised H2O. Free toiletries etc Over all our stay is very comfy and rested well. Kept our luggage after check out. It’s a place where you feel very welcome like a home. Close to all attractions like Rialto bridge, St Marks Basilica, gondola boat rides, museums and restaurants within walking distance. 3 stations by boat from piazza Roma Highly recommended and good value for money

The place was amazing. Like a fairytale. We got a free upgrade to the room due to availability. Lorenzo communicated very well and detailed. He was very nice, gave us recommandations for local restaurants, places to visit and methods of travel. Room was clean and well heated (for december). Building is old but well kept. Looks so cool. Like u are back 500y ago. We were able to leave luggage there after check out and pick it up later in the day. Unbelieveble value for money overall.

The B&B’s owner and staff were very courteous and helpful- excellent service. The breakfasts were very well prepared and served at our time preferences. The rooms were comfortable and the common spaces were comfortable as well. The location was convenient.

It was very hot and the cold-water A/C system could not adequately lower the bedroom temperature. (as it is an historic building, an outside condenser type A/C is prohibited.)

It is a beautiful decorated Venetian style house located in the heart of Venice, so convenient to walk everywhere. The host Lorenzo is truly the best, we had to come at the different day due to my daughter’s performance date changed, he was so kind to accommodate us a room for the day we need. And he gave us great recommendations to different restaurants and gelato places, even the best place to see sunset and etc. I cannot recommend enough to his place. The location was superb, right in between Rialto & st Marks square districts both 10 mins away. The view from the room & breakfast view if the canal was exactly what you want in Venice! Lorenzo was brilliant and so easy to contact before & during our stay via WhatsApp. The building itself is beautiful with lots of original features and details. Felt very special staying here
