Fourth visit to Venice and this hotel made our stay and memories so wonderful and special. This hotel to me is a superbly run historical family hotel, staff are amazing and English fluent, the hotel is a beautiful 600 year old building in probably the best location in Venice, daily breakfast was great and plentiful, any coffee you wanted included, we checked out early and there was two packed breakfast packs waiting for us at reception. Have travelled a lot and rate this hotel stay as one of our best if not because it was in voted most beautiful city in the world, thank you to all at Hotel Da Bruno 🙏

Breakfast was tasty with some lovely & crunchy croissants, staff was helpful, hotel overall was clean and had an awesome location. It was a great stay.

Hotel Da Bruno is a delightful hotel situated in a very central part of Venice. It's within easy walking distance of St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace as well as the Rialto Bridge. We booked the standard double room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and sit. The decor is very Venetian with pretty curtains and Murano glass chandeliers and mirrors. The room had a safe and aircon. The view was into the lovely street below, but the shutters meant there was no disturbance from the restaurants and shops. The bathroom was small, but the shower was great and had plenty of hot water at all times of the day. They changed the towels and made beds every day, which was lovely. The breakfast was plentiful, we had options such as eggs, croissants, cakes, meat, cheese and fruit and yogurt. The staff were kind and helpful, they were able to recommend places to eat locally, which helped as there were lots of touristy places nearby. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was lovely, but it's probably worth noting there's no lift (usual for Venice)

A very nice and cozy hotel in a fantastic location in the centre of Venice, just a few minutes between San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge. What we appreciated most is the atmosphere of this place! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, they always provide guidance and precious information when needed. The hotel is spotlessly clean (rooms are cleaned every day with a daily change of towels) and the breakfasts are delicious. Tea is available all day next to the reception. The hotel is just in the middle of a vibrant street full of tourists, shops and restaurants. The best ice cream which we had in Venice can actually be found just next door :). We are already planning to come back here - thank you Hotel Da Bruno for making our stay unforgettable and amazing!

There was nothing that we didn't like, everything was great.

The staff at Hotel da Bruno were the most helpful, welcoming and kind of all the staff we met on our recent travels. It was such a pleasure staying here that we changed our plans and extended our stay even though we had already paid for accommodation elsewhere. They provided great restaurant recommendations, helpful directions and good advice on traversing the city. They were knowledgeable, personable and interested and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was well located with good restaurants, bars and gelato nearby, with easy access to the vaporetto and halfway between the Rialto and St Marks Square. It was a lively part of town but quiet inside and the hotel was a lovely cool oasis during a heat wave. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was great. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location is absolutely perfect! It was really easy for me to reach pretty much everything by foot. I could easily stop off late afternoon to have a quick break before dinner. I liked that I could leave the key at reception when I went out. The staff are so kind, probably the best I have experienced in Venice and the breakfast is great - I didn't have to go out hungry! The room was spotless, which I really appreciated. I have been to Venice 7 times, and I really hope that I can stay at this hotel again in the future! Thank you!

Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs, as you can hear people if they are in the corridor.

The hotel is located in between Ponte Rialto and Piazza San Marco, 5-6 minutes far. We also went to La Fenice and to La Biennale. The way to the opera house is walking distance, about 10 minutes away and you can easily reach vaportto stopes that will take you to Giardini and Arsenale for La Biennale. The staff is super nice and kind. All of them. The room was very clean, the housekeeping persons were cleaning the room and changing the towels daily. Upon arrival we were welcomed with orange juice and a gentleman from the staff took our luggage to our room. Our room was very quite (2nd floor with a side building view). 10/10 recommend 🤍

Location! 10 minutes to Ospedale ( then another 5 minutes to the Fondamente Nove boats), 12 minutes to San Marco (quicker when there are no crowds) and about 8 minutes to Rialto boat stops. Friendly staff, wide breakfast selection( hot and cold)

I shouldn't moan as for the price and location, but budget single room was somewhat cramped. The mattress needs turning over every few months as it gives the feeling you are going to roll out of bed. This is due to the narrowness of the room forcing you to sit on the bed's edge.

Location was good for Venice. Breakfast was delicious with lots of nice choices. Staff was courteous and ready to tend to every need we had; they liked to please us. Very helpful, helped us with arrangements to deal with luggage at the end of our stay. The room was nice. The mattress was not great but I managed. The A/C does not work the way I like it. I prefer my room very cold. They gave us a standing electric fan. Very charming hotel and staff.

I think that my mattress was not completely flat on the bed frame for some reason. It felt weird. I ignored the situation because it is so charming, there are so many positive things about this hotel that I forgot about it.

The hotel's location, midway between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco square was truly a blessing. I returned to my room each afternoon and took a 2-hr siesta, which really helped me rejuvenate for the evening. The staff were all very helpful; the hotel was very clean, the breakfast selections were great and I would definitely stay there again. As an added bonus, the most popular gelato shop is right next door!

I have no complaints. For being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet.
