This is a beautiful hotel, great location near the Rialto Bridge, very friendly staff. Our room was beautiful, sound proof, the bathroom was gorgeous, large shower and good water pressure. And robes & slippers! The breakfast included was amazing, so many selections, cappuccino made to order, some tables are by the window and you can watch the gondolas pass by. This hotel has an entrance you can arrive by water taxi. The staff were sweet enough to have prosecco in our room upon arrival for a special birthday celebration. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here upon returning. Grazie Mille

When we entered our room, it was obvious that we had been upgraded to one 50% bigger. The whole hotel is really exquisite including the rooms. Service was first class in all departments, reception, breakfast, bar, massage, etc. We also had the 6 course tasting menu in the restaurant on our last evening, which was a really unique experience.

The only thing that wasn't good was the noise from the boats on the canal right outside our bedroom window. It wasn't at all constant, but a few times each night noisy boat riders went past.

This is what you think of when one thinks of Venice. We stayed the last night if a very long (maybe too long) trip across northern Italy for for our honeymoon. This was such an oasis of relaxation and luxury in the crazy maze that is Venice. It’s an extremely easy to get to and central to all of the must see spots. We had a Fabulous 8 course diner to top off our honeymoon, a luxurious breakfast spread that included Prosecco. There is an abundance of staff they are always nearby when needed, but not intrusive and speak many languages. We came from Spain and the minute we said a few words in Spanish to on person, everyone knew they were spoke Spanish and attended to us in Spanish the greatest ease. At the same time we heard them speaking perfectly English, French and of course Italian. It is worth paying a little extra for a private water taxi right to the door canal front. We took the general ferry to the hotel and it was miserably hot and made a few additional stops. We arranged a private boat to the airport for our return and it was an amazing experience to stand i the back and ride through the canals and the bay to the airport. We are already planning our trip back, as this was way too short for us.

Nothing. This is not a 4 star hotel, this is easily 5 stars, and my work is in designing luxury boutique hotels and ensuring they they meet the highest standards.

All the staff were wonderful. Reception staff were very responsive and helpful. Restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was very thorough. Great location for seeing the key tourist sights. Water provided in room, as well as kettle and nightly turndown treats. A very comfortable stay. Nice coffee provided at breakfast, which also came with views of the canal

Our room only had a window that opened out to an external wall so very dark. The heating also wasn’t working but the staff provided a temporary unit. Use of spa not included - had to pay a significant fee to use. This doesn’t fit with the luxurious sell. Either does having to pay extra for fresh orange juice or an omelette at the “included” breakfast. Room was a bit dated eg old towels and bathrobes.

Excellent location, wonderful breakfast and dinner at the hotel.

rooms very very hot and a bit small

We had a very nice experience at this hotel. The location is perfect and being on the canal allowed us to enjoy the boats going by. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating . The breakfast was fantastic with a great selection of food. The Junior suite was beautiful. The two chandeliers were stunning . The marble bathroom was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable . The suite was very clean . We appreciated the bottle of Prosecco that was left for us upon our arrival. A very welcoming touch! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice.

We hate to say anything negative because it was all so beautiful, however, the couch in the sitting room was extremely uncomfortable. The only other negative thing was that we had to leave 😕

We upgraded to the luxury suite which was lovely- the only reservation was the size of the bathroom as this was not big enough for two people to be in at the same time. It should also have a separate loo not just in the bathroom but in the suite. The other observation is the wardrobe is at the entrance of the suite, the farthest away from the bedroom. A beautiful set of rooms but not best designed

The breakfast at the hotel was not what one would expect of such a hotel. not a good choice of cheeses in a country with wonderful cheese and if you wanted eggs any other way than scrambled, you had to pay extra which is a also a little cheeky. We had dinner in the Michelin restaurant and the chef's surprises, starters and pastas were excellent, but both main courses, the turbot and the pork, were so salty it was impossible to finish them sadly.

The hotel is in a great central location very near St Marks Square but in a quiet street. It was amazing to arrive by water taxi. The rooms and the hotel generally are spotless and beautifully furnished. The air conditioning was greatly appreciated. The staff were friendly and welcoming and helped us with trips out and dining recommendations. There was a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast.

We were a big family party and had booked a number of rooms and the selection of what was in each was a bit variable eg some had fresh fruit, one had Prosecco, some had fruit juice, ours didn’t have either although it was the superior room. I am sure they would have rectified it if we’d asked but it wasn’t so important.

Good central location but in a relatively quiet area. Hotel can be accessed directly by boat as well as on foot. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Small boutique hotel but has everything you need, incl. a small gym.

Nothing major except perhaps that they charge extra for specific breakfast items, such as fried eggs or fresh fuit juice, and the amounts they charge are actually quite high for what they offer.

Great location only ten minute walk to St. Mark’s square. Excellent front desk and wait staff were always ready to help. Wonderful breakfast buffet.

Although the room was comfortable and well appointed, it was very very small for the price, with just enough room to navigate around the bed. There were no drawers for folded clothes. Hanging space only.
