Great location, very close from the San Marco square and the Rialto bridge. Our room with a small balcony was overlooking a small canal with several gondolas and gondoliers. Beautifully decorated room with a large bathroom, including a wide shower with rain shower. Powerful ventilation/heating unit.

We booked with breakfast included, but were told upon arriving that breakfast was not available, and were given a bottle of prosecco (listed price 20 EUR) in the room as compensation. We do not drink prosecco, and would very much preferred to be just given the money back. Moreover, we could see a room with breakfast was still being offered on Booking.com for the same night - an outrage. In the end, we gave a bottle of prosecco back and took 2 0.5l bottles of water as compensation.

Superb location in between San Marco square and the Rialto bridge. Unexpectedly huge, good quality breakfast included in our rate. Comfy room overlooking a canal, beds were comfy and had a small balcony. There can be some noise early morning from the canal but if the windows are closed you can't hear it. Great shower. Typically traditional Venetian furnishing - we loved it!

Nothing it was perfect for us!

Located very close to the Rialto Bridge/Canal area, and also only about a 8 min walk to San Marco Square, the location was great! We loved exploring all of the little alley ways and piazzas in the area and avoiding a lot of the tourist traps. Our room was spacious and well-kept. Staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. TIP: Don't go to the gondola stands to pay for a ride. We found many gondiliers later in the evening looking for fares on the canals surrounding the hotel area. You can negotiate a better rate and have a private ride.

Hotel should do a much, much better job providing explicit instructions on how to find the hotel. We got very lost and Google maps had us going in a circle. The hotel has a non-descript door and no obvious sign, so if a nearby restaurant hadn't assisted us, we would have been looking for much longer. Also, we knew there was no elevator, but so many stairs (4 flights) to the 3rd floor was rough. And lastly, no hot water at sink until the shower got hot water was a bummer. Thursday night was quiet, but Friday night lots of noise and people intermittently through night outside the window.

The Hotel located down one of the side streets off of the canal, Hard to find like most things in Venice. But hey that's half the excitement of coming here. Once found the rooms are located from 1st floor upwards. I'm 61 with arthritis amongst other ailments. But managed the climb up the stairs. The Room was lovely, well maintained a decorated in traditional old theme. The Bed was VERY comfy. The Bathroom was modern and again very well maintained. All in all a wonderful hotel and clearly a family style English B&B style established. 100% recommended. Dont Expect 5 star luxury your not in the right place, If your disabled again your not in the right place. Read the property write up carefully and you won't be disappointed 3 star rating should be 4 star.

A few minor touches that would lift the hotel. No kettle or coffee & tea facilities in the room. Breakfast was a little late would have preferred an hour earlier but hey like I said these are a very minor criticism and ones that are not a deal breaker

The location was great. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The beds were very comfortable. It was quiet. There was a fridge.. very handy in the hot weather. There was a view out on the little canal. The staff were really helpful supplying breakfast when we left early. We loved this hotel best of all the hotels we stayed in across our 5 week world tour. The staff also helped us book dinner and the nearby Trattoria Gazzettino.

We liked everything! The room was exactly like the one pictured in our booking.

The location was perfect (one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel) and close to the ferry stop. Paid extra to have the room with the balcony, which was overlooking the small canal, so it was totally worth it since this is pretty unique! Each room seems to have its own character. Loved the old style with the baldaquin bed, wallpaper and the rest of the furniture and lighting.

Everything was great. It would have been a bonus if breakfast was included.

We were for 7 nights in Venice. After the 3 first nights spent in the 4th flloor, the hotel has no elevator (correctly indicated in booking.com), that was the " purgatorio", we arrived the last 4 nights in "paradiso" in the 1st floor. Breakfast was very good for the money/quality and diversity ratio. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room very clean, beds ok. The hotel has the large advange of less than 7 minutes from San Marco place and less than 5 minutes from Rialto bridge. Good restaurant nearby.

Unfortunately no elevator in the hotel

The location, the canal view, the bathroom was nice, the desk and bedside tables were convenient. The help at the check in desk was very quick and helpful. Thank you.

The restaurant staff was dismissive and rude when we tried to inquire about checking into the hotel (question: where is the hotel entrance?) - and when we tried to ask about getting a table for dinner we were brushed away. *the restaurant was busy every evening and must be good. I was disappointed we weren’t helped to make a reservation during our stay.

Location is fantastic. Room was decorated in grand Venetian style with fabric on the walls and a beautiful chandelier.

The €3.50/person hotel fee has to be paid in CASH ONLY. I spent most of my evening trying to find a bank machine that would give me cash. I suggest getting cash before you get on the island. It's on a canal so you expect to get a water view but the window is very high. If you're short, you'll need to get on a chair to see the water 🤣 Just a heads up, there's no elevator.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, next to Ponte di Rialto, and the hotel staff was awesome and took great care of us. Breakfast was incredible, with so much food that it could barely fit on the table. All in all a great experience

The only things we can think of are that there is no elevator (it's an old building) and that the vaporetto (the water taxi) experience was awful: expensive, crowded, and they broke our bag! (But clearly not the hotel's fault). The hotel was super-nice
