The location is excellent and easy to get to by getting a boat to the Rialto Bridge. It’s only a few minutes walk from there. The room is huge, cool and beautiful. It has everything that you want. We loved sitting on the balcony, which has a view of the canal and you can watch gondolas go by. We had breakfast on our balcony. The location is really central, with shops and restaurants literally a minute away.

Communications before and during the trip were fantastic. We were sent clear instructions on how to find the location, and even details on the best way to get here from the airport. This saved us a lot of trouble and we were grateful. The location is right in the centre of everything, especially if you want to be near Rialto and St. Marcs square. A little tip: stock up on essentials at Spar and Coop (cheap local supermarkets) right by the bridge once you get off the airport boat, instead of being asked for 3e every time you need a drink! Free luggage storage was appreciated. Loved the freshly made beds each day. Charming decor. Had lots of character for us. Enjoyable breakfast which we were able to take to our room which was ideal as teenage daughter slept in late and was too self-conscious to eat in front of others!

The location of this hotel is really good, the décor is really traditional and added to our stay. Julian was really helpful before and during our trip and very welcoming. We liked that there were spare pillows and a blanket in the wardrobe, nice coffee by the kettle and lots of toiletries available. The fridge was good for our snacks and drinks. This was one of the cheaper hotels available during our stay, and it was really worth the price. Arrival and leaving was very smooth. Would recommend to others.

The walls were quite thin, we could hear others coming and going, but this was to be expected in an old building.

The property was in an excellent location Very close to the rialto and st marks square but in a back street which was quiet enough for a city like Venice. Our room had a Balcony that overlooked the canal which was lovely for afternoon rest and watching the gondolas. Interesting use of wall dressings. But it all added to the atmosphere of Venice The single room my son had was a good size for one person Steps at entry so I’m not sure if suiting anyone with mobility issues Price was fair for location however Italy is very expensive in general.

Excellent Location, easy to find, right in the heart of everything so you can easily return to your room during the day if desired. It was in a safe busy area. It was good value for it's location. Room was cleaned daily, good size, had a fridge, TV, hairdryer and kettle, great air-con. Bathroom very clean and had a great shower. Breakfast ( continental) had great choice and a friendly helpful waitress. Julian at reception was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us great directions before our arrival and great tips on things to see and the cheapest way to navigate the city. He offered luggage storage when we checked out. We would highly recommend this property.

Very charming & clean! Loved the pillows on the bed, great quality! Absolutely loved the little balcony we had, could watch the gondolas go by, nice it was covered too! Host was very kind & helpful! Would highly recommend!!!

We couldn’t figure out the breakfast! First morning walked in to a man sitting at the table where all the food was but he didn’t speak English. Guess he was going to eat it all by himself! Would have been nice to get a cup of coffee at least!

Perfect location. 3 minutes to Rialto Bridge and 7 minutes to San Marco. A lot of good restaurants within walking distance. Easy self check in procedure. Classic decor of the room which is fine for Venice. Had a kettle in the room. Easy to find using Google maps but a bit tricky if relying on paper map as the street or alley is so small.

Only one chair in the room but we borrowed one from the share kitchen. Only plastic cups in the bathroom - not glass which I prefer for drinking wine.

The room, although small, was quite comfortable and clean. Noise penetration from other rooms and/or the environment were negligable. the bathroom was clean and quite spacious. It's shower was really wide and roomy. The ambient temperature of the hotel in general was warm during the cold spells that we were in, even the room temerature was nice.

When you get out of bed there is not a lot of space each side of the bed. but you can get used to that. What we could NOT get used to is the fact that there was no HOT water in the shower. The temperature was always Warm at best. There is no way to control the room temperature with a thermostat.

The room and bathroom are small but very nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lady who greeted us every morning was great and does a great job setting up the breakfast and taking care of everyone. The place is small but very quite and just a few steps off the main walk way to the Rialto bridge or going to St Mark's squire.

They need hand rails on the 3 short stairs sections that who have to go up and down. They could also mount the TV on the wall so it's easier to watch in bed.

The room was very nice and very clean. I stayed with a child and it was perefct for the two of us. Location was superb -2 min walk from San Marco square and one could hear the bells of the basilica in the morning.

The cleaning lady spoke to us in ruzzian, assuming we were from this country. This was very offending for us - Ukrainians. I would appreciate that the staff don't assume we should be speaking the language of killers.
