The view! The terrace. And the staff. Location is very good(but not my favorite, but, The View!). 24hrs checkin and luggage storage. Note the coffeshop "Pasticceria Marchini Time" on Campo San Luca, its in front of large H&M shop; also Despar supermarkets - small one is in 3min on Grand Channel it have no visible sign look inside door arks for note it; and Farini pizzeria (specifically one between Rialto and Maria dei Miracole, its like 7min from the hotel) provide you very good pizza at half price

Sleeping quality was so-so (but not the worst I met in Venice). First night there were neighbours who didt't care to low voices or carefully close the door - second night it was delicate but noticeble knocks from technical rooms on other side. Again, nothing too bad. Agreed with other, it worth to mark uneven areas under carped somehow, too easy too fall. Disagreed that stairways are superbad, they are normal steps not nartow and rails available. Those strange people who come into Venice unprepared for 1-2 nights once in lifetime, then carrying huge bags themself not hire handlers not use lockers or storage service, not use luggage delivery service or shared water taxi - should blame their brains and not hotels

Really lovely place. Very welcoming and the design gets you in venice mood very quickly. The rooms and toilets werent very big but they were sufficiently big. In the middle of venice at such a location, this is normal. The location is amazing! The path to sea busses and airport sea bus is extremely convenient. In a labyrinth like city like Venice, I cannot stress how helpful it was to have such an easy access. Also it was close to both Rialto and San Marco. Really amazing location - couldn’t have been happier.

The price/performance is there but pushing the upper limits of the price a bit.

The location is absolutely incredible. The room itself is small, in an old, typically venetian building, but clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant.

I was not a fan of having to leave your key and ask again for it at reception when coming and going from the room, especially since we sometimes arrived at unusual hours and had to ring the reception bell and wait for the receptionist to come help us.

Rooms were very nicely decorated. A little tight, but lots of charm. There was a rooftop terrace that was perfect for reading in the evenings. The staff was absolutely amazing and very attentive. There were tons of neat things right next to it as well, including an amazing restaurant right outside and an amazing shop with masks and other trinkets right across the bridge. The area all felt very authentic and not at all like a tourist trap. Only a short 3 to 5 minute walk to the water taxi as well so its all very convenient.

Great location, easy to reach from transport stop at RIALTO 4 min walk. Close to San Marco- 8 min walk Bars , restaurants and ice cream close by Friendly staff, helpful and good English, have me umbrella on day of heavy rain Good breakfast buffet comfortable bed Warm Big telly Shutters so room extra dark, good for sleeping Quiet location Very clean bedroom and bathroom Towels changed every day Single room 206 small but well laid out; bathroom very small, not good for fat people, although shower was roomy enough. Interesting painting in breakfast room of dinosaurs in San Marco! Safe and comfortable for single travellers. I would return to stay again and recommend to others

We had a lovely stay, the hotel was in a good location, comfortable bed, good shower, large bright mirror in bathroom, room cleaned every day, small fridge with drinks in the room, kettle in the room and complimentary tea and coffee, nice breakfast friendly staff. We had a small balcony looking on to a small canal and could watch gondolas passing by. Plenty of restaurants, takeaways and shops around. 10 mins walk to St Mark's Square and also to Rialto Bridge.

Couldn't get AC to work but with it being March wasn't too much of a problem - maybe they don't turn it on until nearer the summer. We had 2 power cuts while there both in the morning, but luckily we were showered and ready and had had breakfast and were ready to go out, so it wasn't really a problem.

Staff were absolutely awesome... friendly, helpful.. just lovely. Super location, lovely restaurants near by. exactly as described , gondola stop just by the hotel.. really nice breakfast, plenty to choose from. Hot and cold.. Big pots of tea and coffee.. nice juices. Cleanest of clean bedlinen.. room spotless. Plenty of soap etc. Even folded our pyjamas when they cleaned the room. I am very very fussy about bedlinen.. this was crisp and whiter than white. We will definitely come back again and join in the carnival. Absolutely lovely stay.

No lift was a tiny bit of a pain but hey.. otherwise all good.

Good location between the rialto bridge and sant marco square. Staff were friendly and the room was cleaned and tidied every day. Enjoyed being able to lean out the window to see the canal.

Nothing to really moan about but a few areas of wear and tear in the room. Breakfast was very basic but did the job.

The room was on a higher floor and had to climb few flights of stairs.

This hotel is located handy to St Mark's Square with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast was very good, with good service provided. Our 4th room was quite adequate for a short stay, the only downside being that there is no lift. The hotel is not far from the Grand Canal so access is reasonable for Venice.

The only downside is the lack of a lift - reception is on the first floor (with the restaurant) and our room was on the 4th floor. This meant that we had to carry our luggage all the way up.
