My sister and I had lovely holidays in Venice and one of the reasons was staying in this hotel. The location was perfect, the breakfast was good and the personnel very kind. We changed rooms on our 3rd day and we saw that there are some small differencies in the rooms such as the insulation conditions and renovation conditions. The room we had on the 4th floor was quieter, not only because of its distance from the street but also due to better insulation, while the room on the 2nd floor was almost like having invisible walls. Thankfully, our neighbors were quiet. Of course, I should add here that perhaps most of the buildings in the historical center are like that, therefore we did not find it necessary to complain. Overall, a positive experience with clean rooms, very good breakfast and kind staff.

The elevator was out of order during our staying there, something that we were notified about prior to our arrival. However, we were not asked if we would be happy with a room on the last floor, climbing all those stairs. We were not even offered a complimentary wine or a discount in the room price for all the inconvenience. My sister asked for a room change and thankfully we moved on the 2nd floor on our third day. I know that it is very easy for a hotel in Venice to have their rooms immediately booked and perhaps this is why they do not care so much about my discomfort; I would like to be less suspicious and believe that they just neglected it out of forgetfulness.

Excellent location and beautifully furnished rooms. We stayed 3 nights on the front end of our cruise and then again 2 nights on the back end of our cruise at this hotel. It is very elegant, had great morning breakfasts, clean rooms with Murano lighting in some areas, comfortable beds, and attentive staff. We couldn't have been happier with our location near the Rialto Bridge and the San Marco Piazza. We will stay here again on our next visit. So many quaint, authentic, Italian restaurants very close and beautiful shops with all price ranges. Number one choice. We recommend.

Not really anything we didn't like. One day one of the front desk personnel was a little crabby and put out but on other times he was fine. Nothing to make us not stay there again.

The location is the best. Essentially it is two to three minutes by walking to both San Marco Square and the Rialto Waterbus stop. Nice breakfast too.

Location - perfect: just a few min from main attractions: Dodge palace, St. Marcous square etc. but noisy outside: you can hear everything what is outside from your room.. Breakfast: very good and staff is very polite.

Every time you must leave a room key. Why?

09 - 11 September 2024 This hotel is the perfect location for all the main attractions and all within a short walking distance. Easy to find, pretty much a straight walk from ferry terminal to hotel and the same from hotel to Piazza San Marco. Our twin room was classic Venetian style, which is why we chose this particular hotel, with air-conditioning, beds were comfortable. The room itself and bathroom were both clean and functional. Breakfast was plentiful and varied but do not expect typical English type staples such as toast or fried egg etc. Staff were polite, reception was manned 24 hours. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience. We had a fabulous time in Venice.

Good, varied breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff, especially at reception, in the breakfast room and those who cleaned the hotel. Any requests were dealt with swiftly and professionally. Room cleaned well every day. Towels etc replenished. Very central location. Can walk everywhere. Despite central position our room was very quiet. Really comfortable bed. Very clean rooms. We liked the old fashioned presentation and style of the hotel. If you like modern, sleek facilities and style this is possibly not the hotel for you.

Location was great, in walking distance to main sightseeing spots, restaurants and walking through the small streets and canals. The room was clean & had a beautiful decor; it was not very big - but enough for us & the luggage. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice, perfect to start the day. Note: For the breakfast you need to select a time slot, so depending on when you go at the reception, the available slots might be less or more).

The windows didn't have dark curtains; for us it was ok as they were facing the back of the building, so not a lot of light came through - but something to keep in mind if you prefer complete darkness in the morning.

Excellent location. A very short walk from the water taxis and the Rialto bridge. Very easy to find and to get to all the tourist spots especially the duomo. Beds were comfortable room was clean. Able to open a window for fresh air. Breakfast was simple but satisfying.

Our room was the last at the top of 4th floor and the lift only went to the 3rd floor so we had to haul our bags up a full flight of stairs which was a bit of nightmare especially when I booked as it had a lift. The shower flooded the floor each time we showered no matter how hard we tried not to. Just a design fault in the over bath shower and not enough screen to block the water. More annoying than anything. Room was so warm despite the fact we turned all heating off. Lucky we were able to open a window. But these are minor things and not a big deal for us.

Location was excellent, very close to both Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Room was spacious with a firm, comfy mattress. Good selection at breakfast. Overall, really great value for money!

Breakfast room was small and became a bit crowded and cramped in the mornings. Scrambled eggs had an unusual taste, although the wide selection at breakfast made up for this. TV remote in room had Netflix logo but the Netflix app did not load and appeared to be disabled, which was a shame as we would have enjoyed watching a movie or TV series during our downtime but we were stuck with CNN instead.

The location is amazing, just 2-3 minutes away from the Rialto Bridge and right in the heart of Venice. The breakfast was good with an average variety, in line with other Italian hotels. The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was nice. We did not pay for a street view, so our window was mostly for a bit of light. Nonetheless, the room was for sleeping as we walked all day outside. The room was clean, quite big, and good enough for two. We had a mini-fridge with most necessities.

It was a bit odd that we had to ask the front desk for house slippers or a kettle, but they were instantly glad to help. Another downside was the heating air conditioning. It was a bit loud, so we tried to have it warm the room while we were out and turned it off when we came back. One last thing: the shower was quite small.
