Location is the best, specially in the evenings, very close to St Marks square. Very good WIFI. It is a small charming Hotel and the staff is ultra kind. Breakfast is very goo with great selection and waitresses are very kind. The room was big enough for suitcases with comfortable beds. We arrived from the airport by a private water taxi, and the Hotel staff can come and meet you and go to the hotel. My second time booking here and will book again.

Terrific location in San Marco Sestiere, minutes from Piazza San Marco, San Marco and Zaccharia docks.

Hotel served a very nice breakfast but in a very small space. Once I had my food, I went to sit at an empty table and was told it was “reserved” despite being told seating was first come, first served. Tried a second table and was told the same thing! I put the plate down and left! I suggest not promoting the breakfast if there is no place to sit and if seating is first-come-first served, then don’t reserve tables!

The room was very clean, towels changed each day and the breakfast choice and quality of food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly, particularly Alisha (may not be the correct spelling) on reception. They arranged a water taxi for us to take us to the airport and walked us to the pick up point. The location is excellent meaning you can walk to all the main attractions Would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation staying here again if ever in Venice again.

Very beautiful and centrally located. The rooms, corridors, the lobby and every corner of the hotel you can tell the management has paid attention to decorative details! I also love the breakfast very much— very lovely setting, savoury or sweet, in small portion so that each food item fits guests with different appetites! The hotel is in no way luxurious but you definitely can see class and elegance! Welcoming and professional staff! Toilet had towels, soap,shampoo and hair dryer which was really nice. Very quiet at night and had a super nice sleep after one day exploring Venice.

I really want to give a 10/10 but wifi was weak sometimes and there was a step in front of my room’s door. I wasn’t aware of it when I first entered. Also the hotel has no lifts so people travelling with bulky luggage or with accessibility needs have to be aware of this. It’s a rather steep staircase I’d say.

Very central location--few minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Friendly staff, especially the breakfast servers. Very good breakfast.

Air conditioning was shut down. (As manager/owner explained, it was mandated by the city, which prevented hotel from turning it on after October 15.) Unfortunately opening the windows to cool the room resulted in multiple mosquitoes bites.

Super rich breakfast with a lot of Venetian small sandwiches to savour in the morning with fruits, jams and a lot of other cakes and salty pieces. Tasted super.

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location in Venice. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was the perfect way to start our day a wide variety of items with lots of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. An older hotel so the rooms are a bit on the smaller side but more than adequate for all of our needs. We didn't spend alot of time in the room as we were exploring the beautiful sights of Venice.

Just an FYI we were on the third floor and there is no elevator ( which we knew when booking). The staff handled all the luggage on check in and check out so that was extremely helpful.

A small hotel not far from San Marco square and Rialto bridge. Very convenient commute from the airport by water bus. Beautiful streets all around, helpful staff, good enough breakfast. Very unique atmosphere. I liked the view from my room very much—tiled roofs, seagulls, privacy. The window had antique shutters. Very comfortable bed with an extra blanket. The room and bathroom were small, but that was to be expected in the old city. Water temperature and pressure could be better. I liked that you can leave your suitcases at the hotel after checkout at no charge and come for them later. I had a fantastic experience in Venice and will recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Serenissima with my family! The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful, and truly dedicated to making our stay comfortable. Their kindness and attention to detail made a great impression on all of us. Our room was cleaned daily, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. Its excellent location made exploring the city incredibly easy, which was perfect for a family trip. Breakfast was very good Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Serenissima to families and anyone looking for a wonderful stay with top-notch service and a perfect location to explore Venice.

Wow, I read all the reviews but to be honest even those didn’t do this place justice - after only staying in 4 star hotels for the last 2 months I can say this place not only competed but exceeded any hotel I stayed at. The staff were phenomenal, the friendliest I’ve encountered in Europe to date, and they went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant (even organising tickets at short notice to the annual redentore festival), nothing seemed too much for them, extremely accommodating. The breakfast- again the best I’ve had of any hotel on my trip, in fact I didn’t eat lunch my entire stay in Venice because I was so stuffed from the delicious breakfast each day, and finally the location - very central and walkable to all the main sights and close to the Rialto ferry station (which connects to San Lucia train station in 20 mins). This place deserves to be a 4 star hotel (based on my other hotel stays across Europe) and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone, when I’m next back in Venice I will be staying here if I’m lucky enough to get a reservation…I was tempted to give them a bad review so it doesn’t become too popular and book out the next time I’m here. If I could it would’ve been a 11/10 rating from me, it’s that good. Book it now, you won’t regret it!
