Location is the best, specially in the evenings, very close to St Marks square. Very good WIFI. It is a small charming Hotel and the staff is ultra kind. Breakfast is very goo with great selection and waitresses are very kind. The room was big enough for suitcases with comfortable beds. We arrived from the airport by a private water taxi, and the Hotel staff can come and meet you and go to the hotel. My second time booking here and will book again.

Terrific location in San Marco Sestiere, minutes from Piazza San Marco, San Marco and Zaccharia docks.

Hotel served a very nice breakfast but in a very small space. Once I had my food, I went to sit at an empty table and was told it was “reserved” despite being told seating was first come, first served. Tried a second table and was told the same thing! I put the plate down and left! I suggest not promoting the breakfast if there is no place to sit and if seating is first-come-first served, then don’t reserve tables!

The room was very clean, towels changed each day and the breakfast choice and quality of food was excellent. All the staff were very friendly, particularly Alisha (may not be the correct spelling) on reception. They arranged a water taxi for us to take us to the airport and walked us to the pick up point. The location is excellent meaning you can walk to all the main attractions Would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation staying here again if ever in Venice again.

Very beautiful and centrally located. The rooms, corridors, the lobby and every corner of the hotel you can tell the management has paid attention to decorative details! I also love the breakfast very much— very lovely setting, savoury or sweet, in small portion so that each food item fits guests with different appetites! The hotel is in no way luxurious but you definitely can see class and elegance! Welcoming and professional staff! Toilet had towels, soap,shampoo and hair dryer which was really nice. Very quiet at night and had a super nice sleep after one day exploring Venice.

I really want to give a 10/10 but wifi was weak sometimes and there was a step in front of my room’s door. I wasn’t aware of it when I first entered. Also the hotel has no lifts so people travelling with bulky luggage or with accessibility needs have to be aware of this. It’s a rather steep staircase I’d say.

I was a solo female traveler and felt completely safe and comfortable ! The property was beautiful with amazing art hanging on every wall! Red carpet in the elegant hallways to my room. I loved looking out the windows to see a perfect Italian courtyard full of pigeons! The room was lovely and comfortable with lots of pillows and a cozy blanket. I could open my window to hear the street noise below which I love or close it and have complete quiet. The breakfast was full of variety, plentiful and delicious! They bring you your own little pot of coffee and cream. The staff was sooooo kind and helpful ! Elena was incredibly helpful with a charger when mine died and another lovely lady gave me snacks when I overslept Freon jet lag and was too tired to go out and forage food! The most handsome gentleman gave me clear instructions on getting to my water taxi and finding money exchange . I am going back in the spring and I will absolutely stay at Hotel Serenissima every time I return. Can’t say enough good things! 💐

This is a two-star rated hotel but it's anything but. Located close to both Rialto and San Marco, it sits in a narrow pathway among the shops of that area of Venice. It's very much not a modern hotel with an old world charm. If you need an elevator or desire a large room, this is not the place for you. I opted for a single room and it was small but well furnished. Perfect for me who only wishes for a clean place to lay my head at night and to shower and get out for the next day's adventure. You'll be prepared for that adventure with a sumptuous buffet breakfast that's included in your room price. Eggs, bacon, pastry, yogurt, fruit, coffee (including a cappuccino or a latte if you desire), tea, juice, sandwiches and more. The staff is helpful and friendly and the front desk is staffed at all times. You're a short walk from transportation and a plethora of places to eat and drink. Unless you need fancy hotels with elevators, this is a great place to stay in Venice.

great location to get quickly around, to Rialto and further as well as to Piazza di San Marco. Had a nice quiet room, very clean with very little issues, breakfast is better than in most places, offers many options, including savoury. Staff was very friendly and helpful, no question was too complicated and any extra help was offered without hesitation. Overall I fully recommend the place and will consider coming back.

breakfast seems I've been unlucky with my timing - freshly made eggs and bacon were cold and fruit was out and didn't get replaced (that was at 9:30 though breakfast goes until 10:30).

Super rich breakfast with a lot of Venetian small sandwiches to savour in the morning with fruits, jams and a lot of other cakes and salty pieces. Tasted super.

The wifi was not always super speedy.

Fabulous hotel in a perfect location in Venice. The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was the perfect way to start our day a wide variety of items with lots of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. An older hotel so the rooms are a bit on the smaller side but more than adequate for all of our needs. We didn't spend alot of time in the room as we were exploring the beautiful sights of Venice.

Just an FYI we were on the third floor and there is no elevator ( which we knew when booking). The staff handled all the luggage on check in and check out so that was extremely helpful.

Very central location--few minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Friendly staff, especially the breakfast servers. Very good breakfast.

Air conditioning was shut down. (As manager/owner explained, it was mandated by the city, which prevented hotel from turning it on after October 15.) Unfortunately opening the windows to cool the room resulted in multiple mosquitoes bites.
