The location was in the centre, very accessible for all the city sights and all the attractions. The hotel was really nice and the staff was really helpful. The people at the front desk knows English very well, but the cleaning staff doesn’t. The hotel was pretty clean, the room was cleaned daily at around 12 pm. There was a supermarket right next to the hotel on the right as you go outside. Everything inside the room was pretty silent, no noise. The room was equipped with an A/C which was working pretty well. We had a view of the street, not the canal.

The room had always a funny smell when you entered, it needed constant airing, the shower had some small moldy spots.

Staff were so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Our room was ready before due, which was awesome, after travelling by train and water bus, they were very happy to store our luggage, such a bonus to settle in and then explore our 1st time to Venice. Hanna at breakfast was so friendly, kind and helpful, the brekkie was lovely. It would have been nice to have a fridge in our room, but the roo was great. The location was excellent, we walked many hours and were able to escape the busy, top tourist areas, but close enough to explore these areas in quieter times of the day. Location was great! Staff were awesome! Special shout out to the cleaning crew - always happy and attentive even during a busy part of the year and New Years Day!!! 24 hour reception was helpful!

Stairs in an 18th century building were a challenge, but builds character so not much of a flaw! I did wish they had a mini fridge but the window sill works well in winter! No in-room internet for most people in our group but one room were able to connect most of the time as our room was closest lol. (Harder when travelling with kids after long days).

Ideal location on main thoroughfare between Rialto and SanMarco. ..but very quiet. Suited us perfectly! We ate our continental breakfast with gondolas going by the window... approx 10 gondolas in 30mins. Coffee was lovely and hot, which I rarely got in venice tbh, except at hotel alcyone, for breakfast. The young lady at reception gave us a lot of info on bus station for our 4.20am journey, even printed it out for us! Thank you. The guy at reception that morning had a quick breakfast box/bag ready for us at 3.30am with Crackers, yoghurts etc

The toilet and shower area is very clean and well maintained. But the wardrobe and dresser look as if they belong in the 80s! Everything was clean but dated.

we were informed 1 day before that due to unexpected maintenance we were no longer able to stay at the booked accomodation and were requested to go to their sister hotel instead with no additional costs. However, this was out of their control and the staff at the new hotel were very friendly so we did not have any issues swapping, only that it required a bit of rerouting from the train terminal :)

I love how everything is a walkable distance from this hotel. The reception staff are always curteous and kind. Must stay if you're visiting Venice. The room is a little bit small, but there's so much to see In Venice that we barely stayed in the room!

Wifi was only in the lobby area, not in rooms, and it was spotty. Would disconnect often. The shower drained very slow so sometimes we had to pause our shower halfway through. Minor inconveniences, I found this to be an excellent hotel apart from these minor details.

The location of the accommodation was superb, right in the heart of the city and all major sights just a few minutes of walking distance. The room was quite small but sufficient for a short stay with plenty of storage space for 2 people. The staff was accommodating and helpful.

Our shower lacked a door which was a bit of a nuisance considering that we had to scrub the bathroom floor each time we took a shower. The only amenity provided was shampoo in a plastic bag, which did not meet our expectation. The breakfast provided a scarce selection of breads and pastries, however, it was continuously replenished throughout the morning.

Excellent location, Close to rialto bridge, saint marco square. Breakfast was a good continental, staff very nice.shops and restaurants right outside the front door..

The room was a bit small, the bed took up much of the room, the mattress could do with a new one. We still had a great time..

The location was amazing! So near all the sights. The breakfast was a very generous continental breakfast. Rooms were very cosy and clean with lovely Venetian old style decor. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Nothing to dislike and think people shouldn’t rely on trip advisors reviews.

We couldn’t get the tv to work, We would have loved a kettle in our room to make a coffee at our leisure, But the staff gave me boiling water when I requested it , and I brought my own cup, coffee and cremer- powder, so we sorted ourselves. There is no elevator in these classic hotels, which I so understand, But it is difficult lugging suitcases up stairs.
