The room we had was the blue room with the balcony and the canal view. It was wonderful and an unmatched view. The room was massive, perfect in decor and had absolutely everything you need. The bed was huge and comfortable. The pillows are quite hard. The location of the property is perfect as it is close to San Marco plaza and doge’s palace. Once checked in at a different location, the staff helped us to carry our bags to where we are staying. We were able to take meetings and work online with the wifi, so it was really good! It is expensive, but you are paying for something that is absolutely worth it. Pasta & pasta is nearby and was amazing.

No elevator unfortunately, but this feeling goes away really quickly when you see your room and view.

The room was beautiful, clean and the bed was very comfortable! Absolutely recommend because the location is awesome.

The AC was stinking and the lightbulb was blinking constantly. When we told the staff they apologized and told us the AC has to be used only during the summer and it wasn't cleaned up and that they changed the bulb but don't know why it's blinking again.

Perfect location. Very warm room and has everything you need ( small cattle, tea, coffee). In front small mini market.

There is no reception. For check in you have to go in another hotel ( about 300 meters). Walls in the room has to be painted. Sink in bathroom had problem with draining. In general room needs little repair. It would be a plus if it had a small fridge.

Location was pretty good, 5 mins to san marco square, maybe less. The room was quite big for Venice. Very central but very quiet.

After booking you receive an email that you need to go to another hotel for check in, and as i realized they have everything like cutlery, fridge, workers, luggage storage and umbrellas in other hotel not in casa dolce. And you need to go there whenever you need anything, which is not very convenient, especially in a pouring rain. And you also need to go there for paying a city tax. It was like an airbnb with not much options for the price of a hotel.

We stayed in the room with the balcony and what a view,the room was spotless The location was brilliant,really close to all the sight seeing areas. I was not sure of the hotel after reading the reviews but after staying here I can honestly say I would definitely recommend it.

I didn’t like that you had to go to another hotel first and I feel that they should provide somewhere to leave the keys to check out, instead of having to take them back to the sister hotel l.

We had the family room (1 king & 2 twin beds). Very good room, plenty of space for all 4 of us. Modern big bathroom. Hot water kettle in room was a plus. Good air conditioning. Great location. Easy walk to plenty of restaurants & not far from San Marco square. Very nice & accommodating staff. They let us store our luggage all day after checkout until our night train.

No elevator but we knew that when we booked. 5 min walk up & down bridges from the hotel reception desk to collect keys over to the actual building where our room was located - we had to lug luggage between them.

The room and the bathroom were nice, the view at the garden was amazing, as it was calming and quiet. I guess it was not the cheapest option in the hotel, so in General I liked the room, as it had everything required and it was convenient. There was a kettle and some coffee in the room, although no tea.

The reception was in another hotel, but there was no information about this on the site, so when we found this out, we were a bit disappointed and expected a bad experience with the stay in general (which was not in fact so). Anyways, I think it should be stated clearly when you make a reservation. Anyways, the reception at that other hotel was rather good, polite, not very fast probably. And we could leave our bags there as we arrived before the check-in time. Later, we were accompanied to our hotel and the room and the girl explained how to open all the doors. A big bed turned out to be two beds put together, not a big problem though.

The room was clean, fresh and airy. Perfect for a family stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The heating system and the air conditioner were not perfectly working but it was more less okay. The location was great but the entrance was little tricky.

The accommodation is in a great location. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The room is smaller, everything is clean. The heating worked well. The hairdryer didn't work, but that wasn't a major problem for us. It was a bit complicated to find the main hotel building, although the staff gave us great information about the location, it took us a while in the streets of Venice.

Location and their customer service. Unfortunately all family members got sick same time. The hotel staff carried our baggage as a courtesy.

They should tell or mentioned clearly which ferry to take for the hotel. Also it is inconvenience to gueat register in another hotel and walk back to our hotel.
